Wow....what a nightmare. First we get there go to the usual eatery which now serves only breakfast. So we decide to go to restaurant 99.....order our meal. We waited and waited. About 1/2 hour later. The waitress comes up and said uh...I forgot your order. They did pay for our small meal but after spending an hour waiting for it. It was a joke. I decided to use the restrooms which usually there is an attendant picking up in there etc. The every first stall I go in. Someone had urinated all over toilet and floor. I had already stepped in it. Lets say I wasnt happy. Finally found a casino employee to tell so they could get it taken care of. I cleaned my shoes as much as possible. Okay, Time for gambling fun. We took our winnings from Horseshoe Southern Indiana. Thought what the heck. Lets try. So he goes and plays Roulette. The numbers were not registering correctly and only two tables open. The dealer,( Who I will refer to as Newman, from Seinfeld) was a real downer. I watched while he berated and humiliated a young oriental man. So anyway, my better half usually does okay. Well, not at Hollywood....Every dealer we had, had no personality. From what I heard they are losing dealers to Horseshoe....HMMM wonder why. No one in that casino was smiling....not one patron. Okay moving on. I play slots ....Quick hits. I do well pretty much always. Well, let me tell you. I was on right at 20 different Quick hits. Not one single one paid a single dime when I walked away. In fact one called Quick Hits platinum was hanging up. I was already shocked at the tight slots so why bother calling for help. Its not like there were employees all around wanting to assist. So after discovering the slots being tight and non-paying. I decided to go find my better half. I got turned around and asked a casino employee where the roulette tables were. Yep he directed me to the freakin automated machine. Wow, If I could give less than one star I would. What a nightmare. My suggestion is go to Horseshoe Southern Indiana and you will see how a casino should be run. Never again will they see our faces or that of family and friends

I loved this place when it was Argosy, and docked... Now not so much. Its just kind of ok now. Its wide open yet cramped all at the same time. How can this be? Well the first floor is huge with high ceilings and tables and slots galore. But theres hardly any walking room. And the tables on the weekends arent as much fun. Its hard to find one under $25 a hand, which for the small group or couple just going to have fun, doesnt leave much time to have fun. The basement offers slots galore, and a huge poker tourney room. Most of the area down here is non smoking, but not all. And Ill totally agree with the slots not paying out like they used to. Ever since they started the slots tournaments they have, the payouts just dont seem to be there at all! No matter the penny slots or the $1. The bar always has a line, and tracking down a waitress is almost impossible if youre not at a high table. But there are free soft drinks and juice, but theres never any ice for said drinks just to the left of the bar. The Hotel is great! 4 1/2 stars itself, just because it is a little more on the steep end, but nice. Clean, comfortable, great staff. The buffet is good. Not incredible omg but definitely not horrible. The staff could be a little quicker though. Theres always a line to be seated, and refills are hit or miss on the day it seems. Sometimes the staff is incredibly attentive and on top of things, other times you have to stare them down. All in all its an ok place to go. You dont seem to rack any comp points up, but its just OK. dont go into with great expectations and youll be ok.

Been going every week for months ! But I stopped going because I had not one but three problems with the same employee name Terry ! First he was in the deli he refused to replace my Hotdog that was still frozen in the middle ( sounds silly I know its the princhable ) then I bought candles in the gift shop I did not notice one was cracked around the base ! I called An was told not a problem they would replace it them when I came back Terry refused to replace it ... Then Terry over charged me 30.00 I took the receipt back in the gift shopTerry refused to do the right thing . Im a Executive Producer with Hollywood you would think they would treat their customers with respect . Not Terry he is rude An very disrespectful. I refuse to spend my money gambling when Im treated so poorly. By a manager... Another lady was standing behind me one day An said he was really rude to her on more than one occasion to...

The Casino formerly known as"Argosy" is one of Indianas best. Its chock full of slots and games. Huge sport bar In the Casino and night club outside of it. We enjoy the variety of games. They have a lot of more modern slots with off the hook graphics. A new garage with a moving Sidewalk across the skybridge is very cool. As for the Hotel however its a different animal. We were unfortunately given a room on the railroad tracks side. ( Yes, trains forty feet away). We counted three during the night. They dont have coffee makers in the rooms and no room service so you have to go to the lobby for coffee. They have very limited Valet service and you have to leave the property to go to a gym to exercise. On top of all that they have the nerve to charge a per diem "resort fee" of about $12 bucks. This is no resort. I doubt we will be back to stay.

I would not recommend this casino unless you are hyper aware of everything going on around you I was robbed by a con lady and guy and the thing I find most insane was the fact that casino security wasnt even the one to see the theft take place I actually noticed my jacket was stolen and phone and money was gone and after I notified security they took a long time to respond and apprehend the suspect Amazingly they have done nothing to help me recoup my losses they took my money she had on her for evadence and I am at a loss even though I usually spend great money their every time I go to ask someone about maybe getting my losses back they send me to security and security says they are separate from the casino I would defently not recommend this place to the elderly PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT IT IS NOT SAFE AT ALL

My wife booked a room for for my birthday. This was my wifes first time here and my first time back in 7 years. When we signed her up for a card they didnt tell either of us that what ever we lose in increments of 100$ they would send back somehow. So I spent 140$ and my wife 60$. Not knowing this. The next day we checked to see if we had a free buffet or anything and they told us about the first time promo. If we would have known about the first time promotion I would have let my wife spend 100$ or 200$ dollars and me less. They told me there is no way to prove Im telling the truth. Nice copout Hollywood. We will never come to a Hollywood casino again and Ill make sure my friends do the same. Dont get cheated!
