Quaint little vineyard in the Texas Hillcountry. Is a great place to visit on a weekend drive, have a wine tasting, and find some wine you might fall in love with. Ive taken my camera with me before and theres some scenic shots to be had, both inside the aging room full of barrels as well as outside the building which is an old rustic wooden cotton gin. Sister Creek offers some very interesting wines, including some blends, and carbonated wines that have a distinct fizz and bite to them. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. I highly recommend making a stop here if your in the area. Try some wine and see if anything grabs your attention.

We stopped by the winery on a Saturday afternoon. It was an interesting place. It was crowded as should be expected for that time. The staff were very busy and a bit stressed it seemed. We were rushed through our tasting a bit because of the crowd. I was unimpressed with the red wines, but I had red wine at a winery before that was Superb, so I might not have been in the best mind set. I was dissapointed with the lack of seating. The "tour" was neat though. We will try again before having final judgement.

A great tasting, tried 8 wines and was very pleased with the selection. The small tour showed us their facilities without hearing the same tour information you would normally hear every time you go to a winery. Our server was an older gentleman who took time to engage with us and ask about our preferences and tell us interesting stories about the vineyard itself besides just the wine.

We have been visiting wineries in the area and enjoyed this place for sure. The selection was great and their prices were not way out there either. The building is really neat, an old cotton gin/barn. So far most of our purchases came from here including presents for others. We will certainly return here and recommend it to others.

Overall a little something for everyone, sweets all the way to dry. However, they have a mix of Texas and non Texas wines. The location is pretty cool. An old gin I believe.
