I work in customer service and if I would give less than a star if I could. I have never had such a horrible experience trying to get a hold of someone to help me cancel my room reservation. Over a month ago I sent an email attempting to cancel my reservation, two weeks later I called room reservations asking about the status and was told I needed to talk to a manager. The phone number they gave me was for a sister hotel - not Leelanau. I did try both phone numbers on Leelanaus website to no avail. I tried to email again this time attaching my original email with the date and time stamp. Now its just past the weekend of the reservation and they have charged the full amount of the room plus an extra $20. My attempts to call and email have not ended - I have decided to take this up as fraud with my bank and MasterCard. Its no problem booking a room but good luck if you need to cancel- no one will call nor email you back.

I used to stay at this hotel all the time, it was small with nothing much to do but it was cheap and close to the casino so I enjoyed it. When I called to check rates they raised them 70%. I was shocked and asked if they built a new hotel, nope. Looks like they refurbished the rooms, but theres nothing there that would be worth that rate, guess Ill find a new place to go, too bad it was fun

I did a benefit auction for Leland Christian Neighbors and they let us in the back door. The only reason I never go to concerts there is the fact that they require people to walk through the smoke to get to the concert. My asthma will not let me do that. It was refreshing to go straight into the concert venue. Perhaps they will change their policy in the future.

Decent small casino. Way to tight. I understand they are there to make money but a group of six people all averaging a loss of $150 each says enough. Ive been to enough casinos to know the slots here are just ridiculously tight. Saddens me because its my local casino and you cant even spend much time there because the money goes so quickly.

Small casino in a great location just north of Suttons Bay. We went here after a day of wine and distillery tastings. Im not much of a gambler & dont go to many casinos because of the smoke but this place was clean and not very smokey at all. They have a few tables and a large amount of slots. They also have bingo! Great little casino.

This is our home away from home. The view of Suttons Bay from the lodge on top of a hill, is stunning. The service is friendly and helpful. It is a comfy room with a beautiful view, and besides the casino, its a good starting point for many interesting places nearby to visit. Beaches are beautiful and FREE.

Havent been to leelanu casino in a year or two and wont be going back. They have taken alot of machines out, the selection of machines stink. Machines are tight, no bonuses or payouts. It looks like a ghost casino. Strange the slots r where most casinos make the money. Very disappointed.

Hotel was very clean and nice. Theres not a lot to do other than head to the casino, which is just down the steps from the hotel. Its a smaller casino but everyone was really friendly, and would definitely return! Only one place to eat and grab a drink but it was well priced.

Rude workers. Their website says that the craps table is open until close on Thursdays and the casino is supposed to be open until 2a. They closed the table at 11:45p and didnt care about the 5 people trying to play.

$140 for a room with a shoebox for a bathroom. No pool....no continental breakfast. No exercise room. But you do get a view of the bay.....which is across the road and a few hundred yards away. Very dissapointed.

So many machines are gone, 1/4 of the gaming floor is sitting empty. not worth the drive out. Rare to get a bonus on anything and then they pay less then 10.00 the majority of the time. Very disappointing.
