Booked through Hotwire to save money. So the sneaky resort fee charge that the hotel tacked on when we were checking in, was a kick in the shin. Had we known there would be an added resort fee to our bill, wed have stayed somewhere nicer for that price. Id hardly classify this hotel as a "resort." The rude man my husband spoke to on the phone said this fee was for the Wi-Fi (spotty at best and I ended up having to use the data on my phone instead), coffee in the lounge (neither of us drink coffee) and self parking (good luck on finding a spot anywhere near the hotel.. We had to park in the garage at the casino and make the long hike to our hotel room). Our hotel had an unpleasant musty smell and was in dire need of some updates. This was the first place weve ever stayed to not have a mini fridge in the room and weve stayed in some pretty dingy roach motels. So we called the front desk to ask about one and they informed us that itd be an extra $10/night. Just be aware of all of the extra fees when considering this hotel, especially if youre on a budget.

We arrived on a Sunday night. Services were polite and cheerful at every turn. Annoyances? We found the walk from our hotel room to the casino to be long and sometimes confusing. We found the casino to have lots of floor space, almost to a fault. We would have sacrificed 25% of the free space for more slots. My wife and I played separately for almost 4 hours and both agreed that slots were tight, we never felt like we were winning. We had these observations at both the st. Louis and Louisburg locations

Beautiful skin. Ugly bones. Reserved and paid on Hotwire. On arrival we were informed that there would be an additional "resort fee" of $11.16 per night. It took 10 minutes of arguing before the receptionist finally agreed to wave the charge. The room is clean and in good repair, but not spectacular. Train tracks run 30 feet outside of our window! Two trains came through during the night with whistles blowing. No pool. No complimentary breakfast. The lobby coffee is Folgers. Not recommended.

Paid for our rooms online. It said it had a refrigerator, it did not, extra $10. It said it had WiFi, couldnt get it to work for more than 5-10mins, and sometimes not at all. Wasnt aware of a $11.73 resort fee, per day, until we checked in. They have 50 convenient parking spots for the hundreds of rooms they have and then if those are full (we never got to park in them) you had to park in the casino parking garage, which is quite a walk from the hotel. Overall, ill never go back.

What was once a premier destination in the area is now a pitiful place of unhappiness. I used to enjoy coming here even after Cincinnati got three brand new smoke free casinos. But every time I visit it gets worse and worse. Recently I called to make a reservation for the hotel and the lady was rude and told me to go to Jack Casino. I called and emailed management. They never responded. I guess they know that Hollywood has become a joke and are out of excuses. Bummer.

Love Hollywood Casino. The new place is huge and packed full of slots and plenty of table games. Hollywood has a nice Cafe inside too. Hollywood has a night club called" Boogie Nights", that looks like a fun place. The Hotel at Hollywood is nice. Weve stayed a few times. No coffee maker in the room though! Thats a demerit. To make up for it however there is a very nice walkway along the river and you can actually walk to downtown Lawrenceburg.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They brought up a crib for my toddler and offered to put it up for me. The hotel was clean and child friendly. Thermostat for the room kept the room at a good temperature. Much better than the old air conditioner. My husband had a wonderful time playing in a poker tournament. He won first place! Would recommend and stay again.

Personnel is always friendly & will go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. If theres any problem with your room, once you bring it to their attention they take care of it. I will leave suggestions (ie: replace shower curtain, retire the bedspread, etc.) if it doesnt really warrant a complaint. Love my mini-vacations there!

All the staff that we encountered were excellent. The hotel was fine, room was very clean, and we had a lot of fun at dinner and the casino. The only negative thing I can say is that the decor of the hotel was a bit dated and dingy. Felt like its from the 90s . But overall I enjoyed the night there and will come back again.

Service was wonderful! Check in was quick & very pleasant. Room was ok; tub had hair remains in it and the bed accessory cover smelled like pee. Rest of room was clean and bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was wonderful the 2nd morning; extra towels & making sure we had everything we needed. She was very sweet!

Hollywood Casino is a nice hotel close to home. Lots of fun table games, and hundreds of slots to choose from. Hotel rooms are nicely appointed, and food at all of the restaurants is amazing. The weekend but they include crab legs and a lot of seafood.

Nice hotel and very glad they brought back the breakfast. Made for a wonderful night. Only thing I would change is to make the casino non smoking. We go less and less because we dont like all the smoke and how we smell and feel the next day

This was not my first stay at Hollywood but as always it was great. I requested a refrigerator at the front desk at check-in and it was delivered less than 5 minutes after getting to the room. The room was neat, clean and very comfortable.

Love getting away overnight here! Nothing fancy but rooms are clean. I do not like that they are charging a resort fee as this hotel is far from a resort. There is no swimming pool and no fitness room. Its just an average hotel.

The hotel was nice and very clean but they do not offer room service which is bad if they are going to advertise as a high quality hotel they must have room service not tell there guests to order pizza on a Friday at 10pm!

Hotel is newly renovated and very clean, only downside to the room itself is low water pressure, and not very hot. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and constantly doing all they can to improve your visit

Was very pricey for a one night stay. Probably will not get a room again but the price would be the only reason. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. Not a lot of options for food though.

The buffet sucks and the people working at the casino are mean. Long lines for everything. Dont recommend this place. They dont know what customer service is. In the plus side won $500
