When we first book our reservation, we had to use our debt or credit card just to reserve the room. While making the booking, it does state that our debt/credit card will not be charged, so I used our blue Chase card just to hold the room. So when we got there, I asked the clerk could I use another card, she said it would not be a problem. So I used my Federal Credit Union debit card from another account, which the color of this card is gray and it also has a big S in the upper left hand corner, this is to distinguish between my account and my husbands Federal Credit Union accounts. She swiped my Federal Credit Union card (gray), registered us and gave us our room keys. As soon as we got off the elevator to the 3rd floor, I received alerts from Chase saying that my account has been overdrawn. When we got in our room we couldnt use our AT&T data to check my Chase account to see whats going on!!... I used my Chase card days ago just to hold the room.... not for checking in!! I gave her my Federal credit Union card (the gray one) today to check in. . So I went down stairs, and as soon as I got off the elevator I had internet service and was able to see my Chase account and I could see that it was an amount, a big amount from Belterra pending and it was going to causing my overdraft. When I addressed this issue to the same clerk, she said that I did gave her the Chase card. I told her theres no way I would have done that because theres not enough money in that account to cover these charges. Also my husband, who has been and is still up stairs for several minutes dealing with someone from houses keeping trying to fix a broken and frozen over refrigerator with a blow dryer, my husband was right by my side and seen me give you the Federal Credit Union (gray card) and seen you swip it. The clerk and I went back and forth for a while, than she said that the only thing she could do was to cancel the Chase transaction which may take 3 to 4 business days to drop off the pending on my Chase account and to swipe my Federal Credit Union card. I also told her that we couldnt get internet service. She said that we should use their quest service WiFi. I told her that I dont use others WiFi especially when I have to log into personal (bank) information. So for our troubles, she upgraded us to a much better room. In the process of moving our suitcase, we left behind our garment bag. We called the front desk, she said someone will bring it to us whenever they could. I waited 15 minutes later and called house keeping, she said her girl just got back from lunch, shell have her bring it to right now. I waited 10 more minutes fearing that all my dresses would get lost, I went to the front desk. The clerk that I had been dealing with was there but I was speaking to another clerk. He was very surprised that no one had brought us our garment bag yet. The other clerk overheard us talking and rudely said, "shes getting it now. She just got back from lunck... she was out to lunch with me....." Im thinking like that makes it ok that we had to wait over 40 minutes to get our clothes without anyone even calling to give us a progress report. Me and the other guy I was talking to just looked at each other. I couldnt do anything but walk away before I say things that my mother taught me not to say. Im thinking you mean to tell me in this entire Resort, this big Resort, theres only 1...1, person that could have brought up our belongings. We waited over 35 minutes for someone to bring it to us. And before we did receive it, I get nasty attitude from someone whos supposed to be in customer service. When we finally received it, I was in tears for being treated this way. Were here on our 16th. Anniversary. I really wanted to go home and just deal with the whatever consequences/fees we had to pay. My husband talked me into staying. I really dont think I will give this place any good reviews. And Im a positive, fun, easy-going person. But the first hour, I wanted to run out of here.

This is going to be fairly unorganized, but here is my experience on a Monday night. There was a large organization meeting there that night, so a lot of rooms were booked but not many people were gambling. Room was adequate, service was great and I was made to feel very welcome there by all of the staff. A few of the staff at the entrance to the Casino area were rude until they ran my ID and asked my age, but I suppose thats be to expected. There would definitely be problems if they did happen to let someone underaged inside. It was a few days after my 21st and I received a brownie and a bead necklace at the "my points" counter when I signed up for a rewards card. Would recommend to friends but you definitely have to be careful with how much cash you bring in. Smoking: Entire hotel area allowed smoking in almost every area (some areas were designated as non-smoking, like some rooms and slot machine areas), which was surprising to me being a Kentucky resident, as most places are non-smoking now. No complaints from me, but if you dont smoke and hate smoke Id recommend staying home. Price: Beer was priced decently with a special on domestics, but cigarettes were $10.00 a pack. Yes, ten dollars! Buy a carton before you come if you are a smoker. Buffet was delicious, and while a bit pricey at $20 (I believe it is more expensive on weekends and they have crab legs) a person, but theyre not trying to rush you out and everything I tried was great, especially the cheesecake. Ate three plates full and had no complaints besides the greenbeans, which were under seasoned. I didnt step foot in any of the restaurants or souvenir shops. Gambling: The entire Casino area was a good experience, immediately won when I walked in and while I lost majority of my winnings and went home with just a little bit more than I came in with, I had a blast. Slots varied from penny slots to $10 slots, but make sure you realize how much your max bets are if youre going that route. Most penny slots were 180 credits for a max bet, so it was either 180 credits worth $0.01 ($1.80), 180 credits worth $0.02 ($3.60) or 180 credits worth $0.05 ($9.00). I didnt play any of the card games or roulette while I was there, but the same people were playing almost every time I walked by. I asked if I could watch for a bit and everyone was friendly but I quickly moved on. Overall it was a great stay. Wish I wouldve won more, but Ill definitely be back!

I have never had such a bad experience dining out as I had tonight at the Sports Grill. We were excited to try out the new restaurant. We go with two other couples. We put in our name and ask how long the wait is. We are told 20 mins. We go on the boat, for about 15 mins. thinking we will gamble after dinner. We go back to see how much longer and told it wont be long, another 15 min..we ask again and told 10 mins. While I am asking a guy butts in front of my and puts his name in for dinner. I commented "its a good thing I already had my name in, or I would be upset for him being so rude". So we wait even longer...now we are up to 2 hours! The two tables for 6 are now both open, but needing cleared. I ask the hostess if she could ask they clear the round table first. She said, yes. She went around to speak with the girl clearing the table. About that time a guy came over and started clearing the round table, I thought fine its just speeding up the process. NO..they both stopped and started clearing a little table for 4. She then goes back over and starts clearing the long table, she gets it clear and a group from ran over and sat down. No one told them to move! The other party of 6 ask if they can sit at the round table, another hostess says yes! I told her, oh no we have been waiting for 2 hours and we were here before they were. She still takes them over to be seated. I look at the manager and told him, what was happening and he said, oh Im sorry and sits us down in the back. Why did we have to wait 2 hours for that? If all they had to do was push two tables together, they could have done that the first 20 minutes we were there. This is absolutely the worst place I have ever had the experience I suffered tonight. Had we not been so hungry and thinking that it would "only be a few more minutes" we would have left. You better get someone in there that knows how to manage a restaurant or that place is not going to last 6 months. I can guarantee you we will never be back again. I am still so upset I cant believe I wasted that much time and the food was so terrible. I dont know which I am angrier about. That I waited that long, put up with all the crap and to top it off the food sucked! Good luck with that place...let me know in 6 months when that place goes under how right I was!!!
