I played Aguila with some new golfing buddies I have made here in the Valley, and we teed off at 9:01 on a Saturday morning. It was during monsoon season, so it rained for three or four holes, but that was enough to soak the greens allowing us to throw darts all day long. I didnt play very good, making a lot of mistakes on the front nine. The course was in great shape, and was a challenge for all of us. For a municipal golf course, I was very impressed. The putting green is huge. They have two greens, actually. They also have a place to chip from. Their range is nice, and has a great view of South Mountain. The course was long, played tough, and while I played bad, I wouldnt mind playing again. It was only $16 in July and that included a cart. It is quite a hike from north Scottsdale, but it was fun!

Buddha Tbay

We played Aguila with some friends who came to visit. The course has all the amenities, including a full driving range. The fairways are reasonably generous and separated by a variety of mounds and trees. The greens are undulating and more challenging than one typically sees in a municipal course. The course was in excellent shape and I think this course offers great value. We played in mid February, on a weekday and the green fees were less than $50. The only negative is that there should be more benches at the tees. I would certainly play again.

This is by far the best municipal course in Phoenix. It is too me one of the top 10 courses too play in all of Phoenix, as far as value and quality. Other hidden gems, Legacy golf resort, Raven at South Mountain, Dobson Ranch, and Arizona Grand Resort only during summer rates. Two must play courses are Greyhawk and We-Ko-Pah.

This by far is my favorite municipal golf course in the valley! The greens are always running really nice and the staff in the pro shop are the friendliest in town! Dont miss out by that teeing it up here

Very reasonable prices, I played on a Monday in November with rental clubs for a little over $60. Rental clubs were an off brand, but worked OK. As a single, the starter set me up with a fun threesone.

Great municipal coarse, priced right. This is a hidden gem that the local golfers keep to themselves. You wont be disappointed if you play here, very challenging and lots of elevation changes.

Great and pleasant golf course.Maintenance perfect and play for a good deal ! 10 dollars after 4 oclock in the day.however,was alone on the course.outstanding!I recommend .

The wife and I are taking golf lessons from Bob. He has been incredible and patient. This is a very nice public course. Would recommend to everyone and again, kudos to Bob.

Cheap admission fees. Not the best golf course in the world, but when you want to have fun and drive some balls, practice putting, or play 9 or 18 holes, its a fine time.

Incredibly surprised by the quality of the Par 3 course, especially for a municipal. Im looking forward to playing its big brother. The greens were exceptional.
