Tradewinds Park is a gem. It has trails for horses and people, a nice little playground and ample space for parties and gatherings. One of the coolest things about this park is that 1 weekend a month they run a miniature steam train that you can ride. Im not sure who enjoys it more, me or my toddler. For only $1.50 per person you can take a ride on a 1/8 scale steam train that goes around pretty little pond. The park also offers pony rides, a small barnyard, and a bounce house that is also open on that one weekend a month. During the week the park is free to enter. OB weekends there is a nominal fee. I think that it is 1.50 per person (my little kids are free).

The horses are not well taken care of. They chew the fences and the tree bark because they are bored and or nutritionally deficient. They had a horse separated from the others and he had a mask over his face, for idk what reason and he was in the blistering heat under the burning sun with nowhere to hide. He kept trying to push the gate to the barn but it was locked out and unable to get in any shade. This is very upsetting. I will go back, just to check on the horses and I will take video of the situation and take it up to someone that can change this situation. The horses are not being combed, they are shedding immensly and they are bored and some look very sad.

Wonderful place for children however sad to say that we arrived ten minutes early to take our five year old to the farm tour waited in a very short line for a long while and then were turned away with several other families because we were told that they were no longer selling tickets even though the tour had not yet began. Many of us were disappointed since we came from south Miami. Seemed unreasonable and inconsiderate.

This park is bisected by a highway. The northern section of the park has neat model trains -both to view and to ride, a petting farm and pioneer home. The southern section has Butterfly world. All of the attractions are worth paying the nominal fee to get into the park. The one thing I would love to see there more trees, but I would recommend all of these gear attractions and commend the park that houses then.

Theres a playground on both sides of the park (a road divides it) but the southern half is the nicer park since it has newer equipment and is shaded. It is next to butterfly world so sometimes it gets busy. The other side of the park has a really nice farm tour, pony and horse rides, miniature train ride and bounce house which are all low priced. Its a great place to go for the day.

Hasta para que un bebé pueda montarse en el bounce house hay que Pagar aparte, además sus instalaciones les falta un poco de higiene, tanto en el colchón, en el playground, baños, etc

12/22/2013 ..... Just returned home after taking the family to see this attraction (Holiday Fantasy of Lights) for the first time and can now say without a doubt that " It was absolutely NOT worth it"! Steer clear of this one!!! The Broward County Parks and Recreations Department should be ashamed of themselves!

The park is very well maintained. The fishing is very good. Do the fact you can put your boat at 9 AM it is past fish feeding time it is best not to go top water. If you go down to them you have a better chance. Look at my photos to get a better idea. Tight lines

The annual Festival of Lights is a Christmas night Tradition for mom and I. They do a great job! Always new ones to look forward to every year. $15 per car, and $3 for 3d glasses. I turn my car lights off - the lights are way better that way!

I dont like the decorations, it doesnt show anything about Jesus birthday what Christmas should be, its just some pictures of animals and then put the lights on. No meaningful about these decors and 3d glasses make you dizzy

A past reviewer is dead-on about the bathrooms. They are so clean! My kids love it here and I know I can drop them off in the park, let them play, and get some work done "in the parents section" near the water part.

Love it. So much to do. Make sure you time it right to do the petting zoo. Love the mini railroad and ride. You have to pay separate for all the additional things to do there.

Was at the south side for a birthday party, then went to the north side after so we could ride the train and the horses. Very nice day, and good place to wear out your child.

One of the few places to watch Disc Golf in action. 19 holes and a practice basket. Hole 1 is 1/2 mile past Butterfly World. Leagues are Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Great park, clean and well kept. Has quite possibly the nicest bathroom I have ever seen in a park. Like something out of "Bath Crashers", haha!

Great place for horseback riding. What I especially liked was the lack of insects in the area. They also have great entertainment for children.
