Great place, horrible service. The self serve ticket machine was broken. My son and I waited in line to buy tickets. I gave him money and had him place our food order while I waited to get tickets. I went to the lounge area to get a beer to drink while we watched our movie. The lounge area was very spacious, well done, and very nice. I waited for a while standing at the bar to be served. When I finally was the girl didnt know quite what to do and was very disrespectful to the manager behind the bar. Then we waited in line to pick up our food. 6 people including a manger standing around and one person working. We gave up and went to watch the movie and wait for the buzzer to go off, the movie 1/3 over at this point. After a few minutes the buzzer went off and I went to go get the food. Waited in line again making sure the lighting up, flashing, and buzzing buzzer was visible to the employees. When they acknowledged me after 5 minutes and I gave them the buzzer they told me it wasnt ready yet. I waited another 5 minutes and got the food. Food was just ok, not worth the wait of hassle but ok. I rejoined my son and we watched the rest of the movie. Picture and sound were on point. The seats were clean and comfortable. I reclined my seat.....and the button broke and was now stuck in recline mode. Not a huge deal because we just wanted to enjoy what was left of the movie at this point. After the movie I told an employee in the hall about the chair being broken. She quickly told a manger. The manger didnt seem to know what to do about it. I truly hope they work out the kinks. The Community could really use a place that is nice and clean and well operated, to be an example for the other places around and give them something to drive for and uplift the community as a whole.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! IF I could give 0 stars i would. STAN the manager (the black guy with dreads) and I didnt get the other managers name but she is a middle aged short white woman. They both seriously need to be trained on how to handle simple tasks when under pressure, basic customer service skills. They have the worst customer service I have seen, EVER! There is no way the teenagers serving popcorn have better people skills then STAN who appears to be in his late 40s but possibly is in his mid 30s. Thats probably why he so bitter, and has a poor attitude. HOW DO U HAVE A ATTITUDE BECAUSE YOUR PERFORMANCE AT WORK IS TRASH AND BECAUSE PPL ARE FRUSTRATED THAT YOUR THEATER F* UP?! HOW?! This theater has very LOW standers when hiring. I guess any one can be a manager there. I attended this theater with my family on Sunday, July 2 AND I DRIVE ALL THE WAY FROM CHICAGO, almost a 30 min drive. STAN has ruined my experience and i will never spend my money with this company every again and it was mannnny people there that day that felt the same. REALLY?! ON 4TH JULY WEEKEND? WHEN PPL ARE VISITING FROM OUT OF TOWN? Marcus theaters has theaters all over the U.S and Im sure when those ppl traveling, get bacK to their home state they will never attend as well along with spread the word. NOT only did STAN ruin customers returning to this location but nation wide. If feasible the ICON theater AT THE ROOSEVELT COLLECTION IS A BETTER OPTION!

Ok.. So, me and my mom decide to go to the show in my neighborhood, which is Country Club Hills, instead of driving miles!!!! To Hollywood Blvd in Westmont, Ill..But, to my NO surprise. It was fully staffed by Kids.. And, dont get me wrong, I really support kids to be employed.. But, they supervision was so HORRIBLE. Because, they were not only Staffed with inexperienced, staff, but they had no guidance.. Then,we pay for our ticket, almost 30 minutes early, but try and use our time to order food..But,we spend that 30 + more in line. So, by this time. I asked for money back for food, and show. Then, when I looked back there, the food area was complete chaotic.. They were moving like Turtles, management loitering instead of leading. I would really hate to see it, shut down. But, you guys that are staff and ready this.. Need to think about if they take those available jobs out the neighborhood, what will you do??? And, your customer experience is all the revenue.. So, not all.customers have visited, if they have. Each experience is to be better than, they last..... I hope that who ever the facility manager is? That he/she get it together..I had been hearing bad things, not only about hiring, but staff..Now,I have my own one that was Terrible..

The staff was extremely rude from beginning to end. When i purchased my ticket the cashier seemed as if i was interrupting her conversation. I didnt get a hello or welcome.. mind you i drove over 45 mintues from Indiana to visit that particular location The establishment was dirty popcorn all over the floors all around the concession stand and even by the front door. I waited 15 mins in line for my food to be told there is a 45 minute wait on a burger... Went to the bar which was extremely busy i sat at the bar and was ignored for 22 mins. The gentleman Clyde who was bar tending at the time was extremely rude. His shift was ending he complained out loud he wasnt helping make any more drinks and that he was tired of staying over... as a customer i should not know whats going on behind-the-scenes the side comments were so unprofessional. Once i got to theater 14 it was disgusting popcorn all over the seats garbage on the floors but i will say the seats were comfortable until a gentleman came walking down the isle and didnt see my feet reclined and spilled his food and drink all over me... I had a horrible experience i will never come here again

Came to this theater on September 10. We showed up about 5 min. Late to there last showing and understandably the doors were locked. But we had already bought out tickets from fandango and couldnt get a refund so it was either go in late or lose out on money. So we decided to go in but all the employees just stood there looking at us outside not letting us in or ever to see what we wanted. So after I started to really bang on the door one of them finally came to the door and we got in. We go to our show and there were people in our seats I kindly say hey I believe these are our seats they say no there mine. So after going back and fourth with the people on our seats who refused to move to their own I just go get security to know they were in our seats and could we just get a refund and they gave us voucher to another show. I had to be sure that we could go to any Marcus theater with this because I will not be returning to this one the culture of this location is seriously bad. Any were that has to have the police outside on stand by is not an establishment I want to be. The location in Orland is a lot better with customer service and customers.
