WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. HORRIBLE RUDE EMPLOYEES WORING HERE. I took my daughter to see Kung Fu Panda 3 yesterday at the 3:40 showtime in Lincoln Park Chicago. I cannot describe enough how hurt I was by the way the staff treated me in front of my daughter. First we went the wrong way through the line, and the Team Leader, or Shift Leader who was working scoffed, "white folks...they just dumb.", aside to her friends. Then, they told us we would have to see the 4:30 because they did not seat movies after 15 minutes. It had been 5 minutes since the movie started. I was TRYING TO MAKE HER JOB EASIER, when I suggested we can walk back to the 3:40 since it has just started and I had already bought my tickets. She then gets a very annoyed tone of voice, clearly I am an inconvenience to her, and says "How would you know how many people are in there? You wouldnt know." THIS IS SAME SAME GIRL WHO MADE THE RACIST REMARK AT US. I replied with nothing. She silently went to a computer and fixed it, then handed us the tickets without acknowledging me hand my daughter. She rudely pushed passed us with pouted slips and rolling eyes, no acknowledgement at all. Never in my life have I treated a customer this way. This hurt me beyond words to be treated like this when I am just trying to see a movie with my 5 year old daughter on a Monday afternoon. I WAS TRYING TO MAKE HER JOB EASIER. FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN, we were treated with contempt and disgust. I will never come to this location ever again, and I will never tell anyone they should go here. One of the females names was LaQueesha I believe. But it was the TEAM LEADER who was so disgusting to us. I asked for a manager, but one was not on duty available at the time, they said. It upsets me to write this and recount the situation. Hopefully it will be dealt with.

If you care about the theater experience this theater is not for you. Before writing this review I contacted the theater and received a generic response in return. Had they given a genuine response I may have considered trying it again. Arclight website states: The experience inside the cinema auditorium is ArcLights focal point. Designed to exceed THX standards of presentation excellence, ArcLight auditoriums begin with a "black box" design aesthetic that favors undistracted viewing over opulence and features the best in sight and sound technology, allowing films to be presented as the filmmakers intend. The theater that we saw Mockingjay Pt 2 in was horrible. The red safety lights on the floor shine onto the screen so in every dark scene the corners of the screen are illuminated red. The "EXIT" signs on the side exits also shine on the screen but into the middle of it! So every dark scene had red corners and a white rectangle in the middle of the screen. The seats are mediocre at best. We thought they were too hard. The popcorn is also just mediocre and they only have packets of salt instead of popcorn salt. As someone else stated, getting to and from the parking isnt well marked. Unless you live across the street from this place there is no reason to go here.

My husband and I decided to catch a late night film. We checked the timings AND called to confirm the timings and showed up 10 minutes before the start of the show. Parked the car and got to the theatre doors which were locked without an employee in sight. There were no signs posted of any cancellation. Finally as someone was leaving, we walked in 15 minutes later and saw 3 employees standing behind the counters. No one had opened the doors for us and they acted like we werent even there. We asked about the 12am showing and they said they had cancelled it. There was no apologies, there was no explanation and then we were charged for parking because we were there for over 15 minutes which is the free grace period . The theatre wasnt even able to compensate for that. This was a truly terrible service and experience. There was no semblance of professionalism. I would not visit this theatre because as a consumer you may not even know if the film will be playing before hand and then youll be charged with a parking fee because the employees wont show you the courtesy of opening to door. If I could give this theatre a zero star rating if I could.

Zero Customer Service. Very unwelcoming. Poor Signage. Not as advertised. Second visit, 1st movie. I was turned away 1st visit because I was 5 minutes after stated movie start and told there are no previews so they couldnt sell me a ticket. Second visit, lobby chaos with workers scrambling to sell tickets on tablets. No order in first come first served. Theaters are not in numerical order so passed our theater, no one at theater to take tickets, but after heading all the way back to lobby for bathrooms was then asked for a ticket and not in a friendly or welcoming manner. Very unprofessional. Finally got to theater to walk in on PREVIEWs and the seats DO NOT recline. $14.50 for a midday Sunday showing is not worth this. After it took too long to figure out that parking is validated at theater 4 with no assistance again makes no sense. Forget merchandise, there was no one there to help either. I am a HUGE movie fan, but will not return to this theater. It was not a relaxing experience and certainly not up to the quality I expected from ArcLight

Best Theater ever! 100% I love going there it is amazing the movies are cheap and everything I just have 2 complaints though! The Popcorn is very high but thats like that for many theaters I wish it was a change though to it. Also for some reason there isnt a lot of movies in 3D right now which iam wondering why maybe issue? or something. But overall this movie theater is just mind blowing. its very nice I love that they offer caramel popcorn I havent tried it yet but I am making sure I do the next movie I see! Ive been to this theater about 7 times now and every visit is great. I hear a lot of people complaining too about manager and the theater it has it ups and downs but I never had any bad interaction with people/workers/manager at the theater but I guess people have their experience. In the end this is a great theater you should really try it its great it might be pricey for food/drinks/snacks but it depends if you really think its worth buying.

Went to see a movie last night at Arclight. It was our first time visiting this urban mall. The first visit was confusing. We parked on the fourth floor of the parking garage but did not realize that there was only one correct entrance to the theater from that floor. We went into the incorrect entrance adding 10 minutes to our planned arrival. Now we know better. The theater seats are assigned, dont pay attention to the seating status on the board, when we arrived the board said our show was no longer being seated, but we were able to buy the tickets anyway from the kiosk. The seats are comfy, but the EXIT signs are extremely bright which was very distracting during the movie. Since we were running late due we skipped the concessions. Bathrooms were clean.
