Had a lot of fun. As an adult I enjoyed it. The teens had a blast and went a second time a couple of days later. I went a second time to take the two little "mountain goats" on it. It was not at a "peak" time when the little ones went on it, so the staff was able to help them a bit. The staff was absolutely amazing with the little kids. Everyone was friendly and the place was well-run. I felt completely safe on there for myself, the teens, and even the five-year-old. I suggest going at an "off" time of the day, if you can. When I took the teens we made online reservations and I am glad we did. It was pretty busy and we all had to wait our turn to get on. It was still a lot of fun and we got to see some really cool ways to do things, ways we would not have thought of. When we went the second time we were later in the day and were able to just walk in. There were very few people climbing around, so it was easier to deal with the little ones, and we did not have any waiting time to get going. Highly recommended.

I took my 8 year old grandson and a friend last Friday Oct. 14 th to Estws Park for the day. It was a terrible experience because of the rude young man working there> i asked him to slow down his banter on safety because it was not resonating with the boys> he flippantly said he had alot of informaton to get out in a short amount of time. with his delivery he took every ounce of fun and excitement out of the experience and because neither of the boys stayed the 90 minutes he totally destroyed their self confidence that day> we had all done a ropes course before but this was different and more difficult. i asked for and got my money back but it was a sad part of our day. this young man should not b working there and the other two young men stayed silent. skip this place!

Great and challenging place to test what you are made of. Will you face your fears or go cowering in the corner like a little child? This 3D obstacle course is made of 2 tiers of a combination of easy, which was marked in green to medium, (blue), to hard, which was marked in black. The course includes simple tightrope walking to very hard leaping from platform to platform that swivel and swing back and forth. Although you wear a harness and are secured to a metal cable throughout the entire course, it still is pretty frightening. If you seek a thrill to escape the mundane boringness of everyday life, then this place is for you!

This is a great place! Its a little smaller than some other courses but also half the price and an excellent value especially for kids or an inexperienced climber. It offers quite the workout. You will be sore from using some muscles you didnt know you had. The double-redundant safety system is superior and offers ease of switching elements with full confidence in safety. The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgable, and fun with their encouragement to push harder, climb higher, and conquer fears. You feel like you are much higher than you are. That said, the views of Estes are phenomenal from every vantage.

What an exhilarating experience! I and a friend are both senior citizens and we could not have had a better time. The individuals who assisted us were exemplary. Check in was a breeze as Open Air has wonderful software that enables the participant to sign the wavier online. Gloves are available at a minimal cost. The instructors are young enthusiastic adults who truly love working at Open Air Adventure Park. I am going to return in the very near future as it is fun, challenging, in a most beautiful setting, has employees who are all smiles and encouraging.

What an awesome time. Took the two kids here (7 and 12) to burn off energy and the visit was well worth the $$$$. The differing difficulty of the stations gave both kids the ability to challenge themselves, and they really enjoyed working through them together. Safety-wise, everything seemed tiptop. Zero fear on my part of them not being safe. The staff 100% contributed to the fun times. They kept everyone in line, helped out where needed, joked around and really were just a good group of folks. Thanks for some good memories while in Estes Park!

My husband and I had a TON of fun on their obstacle course! It is definitely worth the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they are particularly supportive of kids/adults that are afraid of heights. I would recommend going on an "off" day (not a weekend) so you have the best chance of moving from obstacle to obstacle at your own pace. Make sure you wear clothes that will fit comfortably under a climbing harness and close-toed, laced shoes (flats or heels are NOT the right footwear for this).

We had a great time and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Double latch system prevents disconnecting both safety clips at the same time and is very easy to use. If your little one cant reach to 5ft, then an adult or taller sibling will need to help them reach a few of the lines. Each course is colored based on difficulty: Green, Blue, Black with several options per segment. My daughter has already asked to go back.

Our girl scout troop braved the course as part of our end of the year celebration. I was so impressed with each of our girls! The ropes course allowed them to challenge themselves, support each other, and try something new. Safety was emphasized and the staff was WONDERFUL. Our girls work hard by selling cookies to raise funds. Open Air Adventure Park was a good value for our hard earned troop funds. We had a great time!

I found this experience to be the highlight of my trip. The staff was superb-- knowledgeable, supportive and on top of everything. This is a marvelous exercise and you can challenge yourself as much or as little as you like. I would do this over and over if I had the opportunity. By the way, Im over 60 and had as much, if not more, fun than the substantially younger set sharing the facility!

The staff is fantastic and the course if fun! We had two 12 year olds and 1 sixteen year old participate. I am thinking about giving a gift certificate to my 30 year old nephew and his childhood friend for his birthday. He was always climbing things when he was younger. He will be out of the military soon. Keep up the good work. This is really unique and well run.

Tons of employees but all they did was stand around talking to each other while ignoring everything going on. Showed zero regard for anyones safety, watched several children run across obstacles other people were using and crash into them and said/did nothing. Forced my terrified 10yr old to jump off the platform while allowing others to climb down the ladder to exit.

Fun course , girl up front low knowledge .. orientation seem ran through . But staff did stay aware of saftey , good tips as well. More for teens and children . As a adult I seemed ignored , got a little scolded when I didnt fully understand . Not to fond of that .. it was my first time on the course as well . So it was new and I just want to learn too .
