Very neat bar and location. Pretty good frozen drinks as well, however they are a little pricey if staying at the hotel and drinking around the pool all day, and no happy hour on them. Domestic beer is very cheap though, especially during happy hour which likely explains why they are so busy between 3 and 6:30. Cant imagine why anyone would come here for the food though when there are many other better options around. We were staying in the Dolphin Resort and thought we would try the tiki bar for dinner due to the location convenience. However, we found the food to be over battered, well over cooked/fried and overall not good at all. The yam fries hard as a rock, the calamari and appetizer platter over battered and over fried, and the grouper fish and chips dark brownish black from over frying and a burnt taste that overpowered the taste of the fish itself. The service was also absolutely horrible. After the waitress brought the food, she did not come back to our table to check on us even once. We ended up sitting there for over a half hour after all the food and drinks were gone before we finally had to flag her down for the bill. At that point already a little more then frustrated with the service and not happy with the food which was forced down as we were all starving and there was no one to tell of our dissatisfaction. When the bill came, we were not given the happy hour $3 price for the one glass of wine ordered. Charged full price $6. Apparently the one we chose was not part of the deal. Even though we asked the waitress to list the wines included in happy hour, and we selected from the ones she listed. When the manager came to speak with us about it we informed her of our experience with the service and quality of food and told her that wine was one of the wines the waitress listed to us and had we known it was not part of the discount we would have gotten a different one. She said it was miscommunication but was indeed full price and took no responsibility for the miscommunication on the waitresses part. She also seemed unconcerned with our overall unsatisfied experience. With much argument on the managers part she reluctantly said she would remove the wine from the bill. At that point however, completely disgusted with the overall experience and rudeness we told her to just forget it and payed the bill and left. I guess if the $3 is that important to them they can have it. We are staying at the hotel a week and can say they lost any future business from us. Will not even buy drinks from them now with this experience. Absolutely horrible. Avoid this place for food at all costs. Not worth the time or money.

We sat with a party of 5. The place was busy, but not crazy busy. We only ordered drinks for 4. First round was fine. We finished our drinks and waited 15 min for our waitress to come back. In the meantime she was talking in the back. The manager like person, came to our table and we ordered another round. He went to her and told our waitress the order. She later brought the drinks and ignored us the rest of the time. She was talking in the back as our drinks were empty. The one person in our party got tired of waiting and went to the back after waiting 10 mins and asked for the tab. When she brought the bill, the bill case had water on it, she wiped the front of it across her"front" area of her apron and then handed it to us.

We went there on Sunday first time. Music was good, crowd seemed friendly, however servers were snappy and rude, draft beer was warm and if you are a non smoker stay away from this place. Ashtrays were not on the tables but everyone seemed to be smoking. A asked a waitress " how come people were allowed to smoke when the place served food?" I noticed a lot of customers were having something to eat and people were smoking around them. She said yes people can smoke as this was an outside bar. I fail to see this place as an exterior venue with the enclosed area and volume. Never will go back due to the smoking allowed in a bar/restaurant

Came over from west palm beach with my husband,father and son. Jennifer lee was our waitress I have to say she was on top of everything she did!!! Before our drinks were empty she was there asking if we would like another. Food came out and was so delish!!! But the waitress Jennifer was the absolute BEST!!!!!!!!! If you go there ask for her!!! To make it even better shes really hot!!!!!! Best experience ever and we come here everyt time we come to Cape Coral!!! Thanks Jennifer for the outstanding services and making us feel like we were right home!!! You totally rock

Very disappointed w my very anticipated first visit. Must have been short-staffed, 6pm, on a Thurs, bar near full, but not packed. Staff was zooming. Seems like a friendly place w repeat visit locals. Bartender, extremely busy, appeared annoyed w any requests, orders, conversation, and I had a LONG wait for t bill. Music, fish tacos, magaritas, decor all just OK. And dont sit near t SW corner of bar, where they slam t empty beer bottles into t trash barrel. Wont be back anytime soon.

The barback was a complete idiot. Had an older lady flash a badge in the bar and whistled this guy over and demanded I get removed from the seen because i was having a conversation with her girlfriend. This guy reacted like i was terriost. Forbes defended me to the owner and left on my own. In very disappointed with this whole scenerio and will find out about this women who has abused the power of the law and file a former complaint. Out of control!

We stayed next door at Dolphin Key Resort so it was nice & convenient that it was right there. We had breakfast one morning, service was great & food good. We went back the following Saturday for lunch & to watch the soccer game, they were very under staffed. It took us awhile to get noticed, get drinks or get our order taken, they mustve called in some staff & once they did everything was great again.

I wouldnt have known this place was here if I wasnt meeting a friend Wednesday. Love that fact its so open and pool area. We came at Happy hour and wow talk about prices are insanely cheap. Definitely will return for the cheap beer. Dont recommend the liquor special because its a little watered down and think its not really what you ask for but overall place was good and location is great.

Out door bar in the summer in Florida with no view of the beach sounds not so good but they manage to make it a pleasant experience. Great atmosphere good entertainment and decent food this place is an icon in Cape Coral theyve been serving up Florida style for as long as I can remember 30+ years. Service can be a bit slow and a bit too laid back but you will enjoy the experience.

Absolutely one of nicest vacations my wife Joyce and I have ever had... Because of the Warm Hospitality that all of the Staff had at the Dolphin Key Resort... We decided to buy a home on Cape Coral and will be closing within the next three days... Cant wait to get back to see our new found friends..Do NOT miss this wonderful location when in Cape Coral.
