******Update: over a month later******Previous rating: 3 Stars*** NCG, my favorite theatre has heard its customers concerns. Theyve added back more movie offerings and variety. Thanks NCG Stone Mountain! **********PREVIOUS REVIEW********** Note: Im only now giving this 3 star rating because of the following, however in the past Id given it 5 stars. I started coming to this location shortly after it opened and must say that Im still pretty much enjoying it. However, on a different note, I must mention that Ive noticed lately a trend with this locations reduced movie offerings versus NCGs other locations in and around Atlanta that have recently opened. Also, it appears the old movies continually play for weeks longer than other locations. Me and my family used to visit this theater every week or every other week, but because there is fewer movie offerings weve considered driving to other theaters, AMC etc. (which are farther) just to see the newer movies. I would hate to think that this location is phasing out its services, because really our neighborhood enjoys the entertainment choices and the presence it draws to local businesses.

I like coming here, and I love Star, shes an amazing worker here! Unfortunately, the last time I was there, another individual helped me at the cashier. She was sooo annoying. She wanted to charge us adult tickets after we made it clear we were students... after showing her BOTH our school IDs, I guess she was embarrassed/vexed, and she quickly went ahead and swiped our card for the student prices. I then pulled out my NCG card and told her to add my points on there, then she looked at me with an irritating stupid face and was like " I already swiped your debit card, and theres no way I can put points on there now." I was sooo pissed... I almost asked her to refund my money... but the person I came with told me to chill and let it go. The unprofessional sidekick didnt even apologize... Ussually I get asked for my NCG card, and I get my points on there, but this attitude giver was waaay too concerned about my being a student that she completely forgot to follow through with her job, costing me my points, and making me mad. Thank God John Wick chapter 2 was a good movie!

Dont patronize this business!!! On 6/25/16 I planned to enjoy a movie at NCG Stone Mountain. I bought my tickets early left and returned to view my selected movie. During the movie I noticed the auditorium was getting warm but I had faith the AC would eventually cool the auditorium. To my dismay this didnt happen so as I exited the movie theater I asked the manager if there was an AC issue. In a very nasty tone she tells me that the AC was out and that it was my own fault if I were uncomfortable . I am in shock but I try to listen to her explanations. I ask why they didnt post notices on the door that the AC is out OR announce before movie starts that AC is out?. This seems to upset her and she then says I am just doing my job. So seeing I am not dealing with a person who cares about customer service I ask for the next level managers number and her name. She then calls security to have me removed. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Very nice, clean, and reasonably priced theater. The seats are very very comfortable. They are home theater style seating and I much enjoyed them. The only reason I give this place 4 and not 5 stars is the theater experience could be a bit better. The screen is definitely an HD screen, but for my movie, it was a bit dark. Im sure thats something that can be adjusted on the projectors display settings, but I feel it should have already been addressed. Secondly the sound was lackluster. I realize its hard to get great audio in a room that large, but it certainly has room for growth. Keep in mind, Im an audiophile/videophile with several $1,000 invested in a home theater so my expectations are probably higher than most, but overall this is a great theater and Ill be back.

Good Heavens ...Finally a Movie theatre Company that Gets it! Instead of cramming a thousand Airplane seats in one theatre for the off chance that many people might want to be squeezed and herded into a room for a movie, they take out alot of the seats, and put in the place large, reclining seats that are so comfortable. You even have big arm rests! (No Elbowing people next to you, and even a place for your Drink!!!) There is even enough room to get up and walk between the rows when people are reclined if you want to refill your popcorn and Drink!! (Try the Nacho Flavor on your Popcorn btw.. its Awesome!!) Great Prices Too! I really want this one to stick around because I want to see every movie here from now on.

This theater is NOWHERE as good as it was when it first opened. The concession workers are apparently high school kids, who have no OR skills what so ever. I stood at the register for 3 mins, with no one else in line to purchase tickets. Three theater workers walked by me. No one ever said, "someone will be with you," nothing. Then, only because I know I began to look irritated. Then the one girl behind the counter, (who was counting POPCORN BAGS btw) finally called over to another worker to ring me up. Rude, unprofessional, and inconsistent service. Then when I got into the actual theater, it smelled like hair spray and hotcombs.....I wont be back.

This will be my first choice for a theater! Im glad to see a theater return to this location since its close to home. The theaters have very comfortable reclining seats with wide armrests and drink holders. Plenty of room for people to move in front of you on the row--even with the seat reclined. FREE refills, clean facilities, and friendly staff. Prices are good. Tuesday is $5 with $2 concessions. Good deal! It has been open less than a month, but I hope that it is successful. It is showing first run movies. I bought my tickets online, which could save time since tickets are purchased or scanned at the concession stand, not at a box office.

They sold us tix to an already sold out movie. The young lady behind the counter was rude and insisted we shouldve arrived earlier. Never admitting their fault for selling multiple families tickets to a sold out showing. Eventually the supervisor assisted and was pleasant but by that point the damage was done. They do NOT give refunds and we were there to see a kids movie so we had no choice but to return for the next showing and stand in line again. While the seats are nice here the concept and service are not. I wished we had a better experience.

Absolutely the best cinema Ive EVER been to. Comfy seats, perfect size screens, free popcorn refills and drink refills, even the ticket prices are FAR cheaper than most! Limited screens mean they have less movies than others, but thats not worth knocking a star for; They pick what will sell, and whats worth showing. The only flaw? Others know about it and I cant watch movies alone like I did when it first opened :3 This theater went from empty, to packed-on-the-weekends in the first month of opening. Havent had any issues with the staff yet either.
