We normally go to B&B and we also like the Alamo Drafthouse but we had some gift cards so we went to Springfield 11. We couldnt purchase our tickets with the gift cards on site so we had to use an app. On the app we couldnt purchase the tickets because it said they were sold out even though the ticket agent had tickets to sell us in person. We decided to watch a different movie an hour later that had tickets available. Another thing that was a letdown was that you couldnt use the cards for concessions and their concessions are absurdly priced. $15 for a pretzel is absurd. At least at B&B and Alamo Drafthouse you get a meal and a drink when you spend that kind of money. We asked when the movie would be seating and we were told they will seat 30 minutes before the movie. They didnt start seating until 15 minutes before the movie. In the theater 2 of our seats had rips in the seats and my cup holder had liquid in it. The theater was otherwise fine. There werent any sound or video issues. In the end we decided we will not return, other theaters provide a far superior experience. This theater gets 2 stars because we were able to watch a movie but the rest of the experience was not good in our opinion.

The seats are great...UNLESS you get one that doesnt work, and there are several that dont recline. The seats are so big and deep that its hard for me to sit comfortably if my seat doesnt recline. Also...whats up with the ridiculous pricing? A small popcorn and small coke nearly $15.00....plus the soda is serve yourself and the machine usually doesnt have the right syrup to carbonation ratio. So, thats a choice I dont have to afford...right?? Why do I go to this theater so often and pay ridiculous prices and take chances in sitting in broken seats??? Because, it is the one thing that I can treat my 77 year old mother to where she doesnt have to walk and we can both be entertained and spend special mother/daughter time. The movie experience in a theater is a way to bridge generations whether its a cartoon with your kids or a drama/comedy with your adult friends/family...ALSO, in Springfield the theater choices are slim. Love the Moxie! Hollywood Theaters dont offer the seating that AMC does...and the Palace isnt my favorite. So much for my two cents.

First, their website said 9:45 showing. Front counter said it must have been a third party. Checked and it was not. We decided to get 10:20 anyway. Then couldnt enter our member id credit even though she sees our frequent guest pass available. Got to the gate, gal said a 9:45 is still available. Asked if we wanted the earlier showing in another gate. We were confused but excited that we can enter earlier. Went in and was the wrong movie. The the ticket gal was confused. Her list shows the list to be correct. Went to guest services. He said oh that was yesterdays list. Frustrated, we waited anyway. The gate shows seating. We go in and it was never cleaned. They were cleaning while we were watching previews. After they left employee came in asking us for our ticket Stubbs. WOW. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Usually this theater is fine. But what happened tonight? Get your act together.

This theater is always sold out since they went to the reclining seats. Yes, the seats are nice, but when you have to get there 2 hours early for ANY show just to get 2 seats next to each other it isnt worth it. We even tried getting tickets a few days early online, showing up an hour early, and STILL cant get 2 seats together. At least with Campbell 16 (RIP) you could always get in to see a show even if you decided at the last minute to go. Also, since AMC took over, NOBODY knows how to do anything. There seems to be no training, and I have to teach someone how to scan my rewards card and ring up my concessions EVERYTIME I go! I should be getting a paycheck from this place with as much time as I have to spend there to get a seat and as much training as I am providing their employees.

The Imax is great except not all the seats are actually useable. Thise in the front are far to close to be able to see the screen correctly and the 3d glasses at that close still blur the images around the edges. The concessions area is slow. We forfeited our popcorn and drinks because it just took forever and we did not want to be last into the theatre. For Imax, this is the only choice in springfield, but for other 3D or 2D movies the campbell 16 has them beat by price! At over $10 for an adult and over $7 for a kid at AMC compared to the Campbell 16 at $7.50 an adult and $5 kids and early shows, I will go to the 16 unless I want an IMAX experience. Its clean, and a nice theatre, but forbthe ticket pricing, there are other nice clean theatres at better pricing.

I LOVED this movie theater until it changed to AMC. The reclining seats were already there before it was bought by them so I give them ZERO credit for that. AND since they have taken over they have taken away the college night for students on Tuesdays AND the ticket island that you could buy tickets from when the lines were long. Now only their "special club" card holders are available to use the ticket booth and also receive a special ticket and concessions line....my problem with this is that you have to pay EXTRA for the little special club on top of paying their prices for everything else. Its crazy...other businesses have punch cards and everything but they do not. Its ridiculous.

This Theater used to be really great but is lacking customer service and hospitality lately. Went to opening night for a movie like we always do they had the line going outside and bottled neck then started a second line inside the store which forked into the main line so there was no point in showing up early we got forced out . and the theater does not do promo items like posters or cups or anything anymore . They hand out dollar store beads instead ? Come on we ventured out early and spent twenty bucks for tickets and six bucks for a fountain drink thats watered down ...need to say we will be finding a new theater not worth it for the "Imax" Experience at all

The Springfield 11 has great seats, good audio and picture. The popcorn is normally hot and fresh and the ushers and friendly... 4 out of 5 times when I go to this location my movie is sold out or its just very busy which is okay too. My problem with this theater is how incredibly rude the employees up front are. The part I dislike the most would be talking to the teenage kids up front that really leave such a bad taste in my mouth long after the motion picture is over. I would easily give this five stars if it were not for the service I receive right off the bad.... I think it would be a good idea to invent some type of way to view how busy the movies are.

I give out very few reviews and only do it when i feel the need. Story time. Im at the Captain America: Civil War opening night showing. The trailers start and the audio is off from the video. Someone goes and tells the workers and they come in and tell us what there going to try to do to get the movie playing. Trailers start playing agian and the audio is still off from the video. They come in agian tell us they are calling IMAX to figure out what is wrong. They then hand out FREE passes to any movie at any AMC theater. Im talking upwards of 200 free tickets. Great theater. 7/7 would go agian.
