First time going was with my family to see one of the hit movies that was out, fairly quick service with the ticket purchases, and well it was expected to have some pricey refreshments, but when we actually sat down to watch the movie, we noticed it was a little warm, it was in the middle of summer and the stuck us in a hot ass theatre sweating during the whole experience, and simply said that they forgot that their air conditioning wasnt working specifically in that theatre room. Secondly, I just last night said why not give it another shot, well that was a mistake. I went in, bought tickets and a soda, come to the ticket taker, its me and my brother and im celebrating my 20th birthday, guy at ticket taker literarly refuses us entry. Gets even better, when I go to get my refund, some guy at front mumbles through a speaker makes, me sign something, hands me $20 cash, then doesnt even refund all of my money, mind you the tickets were $26, paid $20 cash and the rest on my card. So I call back to this theatre today about 4-5 times, no one is around to answer at all. Completely dissapointed with this place. Maiking as much money as they do and still treating people like this. Will never be coming back again, will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go here.

Still not happy with this cinema because my son and I went there to watch the blockbuster Star Wars movie and due to a power outage the showing had to be cancelled. That was not the cinemas fault. What was their fault was offering only theater passes to future shows as compensation. I dont live in the city where this cinema is and only chose it for this occasion because my son had an archery tournament in Nicholasville and the timing was perfect to stop by on the way home. Now I have two tickets to some undefined future movie at a theater I am unlikely to return to. Combined with the concessions we purchased as we settled down to enjoy the movie, Im out about $40. Im not even mentioning that it took us over 1 1/2 hours to even get out of our parking spot because that was also not in the theaters control due to a local power outage and subsequent outpouring of patrons from all local businesses trying to access a bottleneck of an exit. No, this is about the theaters refusal to offer a cash refund to patrons who would have difficulty redeeming vouchers due to geography.

Ive enjoyed movies on several occasions here but after some recent bad experiences my opinions changed 180°. Me and my wife werent allowed to take her 16 year old brother to an R rated movie with us despite us both being over 25. This wasnt really an issue, the man working the desk was very polite but the manager who got involved was rude and obviously not interested in retaining customers for a dying business model. She demanded we show her paperwork that we were his legal guardians for the day and used a very unpleasant tone with us. Definitely wont be coming back.

Great picture quality, good sound, but the reclined seats...Im sure they are great for people with strong backs. For those of us suffering from even a minor back problem, make sure to take a pillow or something with you because the chairs will just kill you otherwise. If the movie is longer than 2 hours, then its really painful. Mind you, Im not 100--Im in my early thirties with slight lower back pain from time-to-time. They really should have designed these seats similar to car seats, not beds.

Usually a nice place, they have let us in with a 16 year old for a ratedR movie numerous times but this past experience I was purchasing my ticket and they requested my ID and my 16 year old sister was with me to watch it and Im 23 years old, but they wouldnt let us in to watch it, because now she has to have an id although Im an adult and was buying the tickets, so dont come here to waste your money on a place that is inconsistent with their selling of tickets.

Nice theatre, one of the worst theatre experiences Ive ever had though. People to the right talking constantly. Then toward the end of the movie there was a light frequently to our left, we realized a lady to our left was recording the movie. On the way out we pointed her out to an employee, as far as we can tell nothing was done.

I grew up when all the great movies ruled the theaters. You walked in and saw 1 or 2 movie previews tops. Then came the feature. Today, you get 30 minutes of endless commercials blasting you ears. By the time the move comes on, youre already exhausted. I get a better experience at home.

I remember now why I stopped going there in the first place. The seats arent comfortable, the bathroom floors were sticky, WAYYYYY too many people (packed in like sardines), didnt even bother to stay for the movie. Got a refund and will be watching the movie at another theater.

Good place to see a movie. They still sell tickets at the location instead of forcing people to buy online. Nice seats, everything was clean except the game room area. Everything was dirty there. Food is good, but expensive. I have never paid $7.00 for a coke before!

Theres only two movie theaters in Lexington, KY that I prefer to go to and this is one of them! Clean theaters, friendly staff, decent prices, a good reward program, and comfortable seats. Although I wished they would install the ones that recline.

The seating is comfortable and the movies are not the most expensive in town. What can I say its a movie theater, the food is overpriced and the majority of the experience comes from the film you see.

Much more spacious theater than the next closest premier theater, Amstar Brannon. No discount movies but great for new releases. Concession wait times are often very long so get there early for popcorn

This place is really stepping up their game with the seats in the theaters but the price for tickets especially XD, which isnt that much better than the HD is becoming outrageous.

Miserable, they do no theatre checks at all, crowd of extremely noisy asses ruined the movie and never once did a worker do a check which is barebones standard for a theatre.

Good theater. Hate having to leave the cashier and find popcorn station to get my own butter for layered popcorn, then return to cashier to compete order...

Large cinemas with good sound and picture quality. Service is good, but the place gets pretty busy on weekend nights so leave early if you want concessions.

His place needs updated in a bad way. Old dirty seats, with outdated screens. Definitely not my favorite place to come to see a good movie.

Love this theater. Concession stand could be easier, but the seats are the most comfortable in the area outside of the Movie Tavern.
