For the most part its a Good place. Kid friendly except in the mens bathroom, i made multiple trips with the boys but had to take them into the womens bathroom so i could help them with whatever they needed (mainly washing hands) we all watched ANGRY BIRDS today! -2 GOLD STARS & POSSIBLY 3 GOLD STARS- **Listed below, losing gold stars because.... Food, drinks & candy prices are absolutely ridiculous...we had 3 boys (5yrs old, 6yrs old & 10yrs old) & 2 adults (my cousin&myself); it cost right at $50 for tickets, then we went to the food & drink area so the kids could get the full movie theater feeling....we purchased 2 bags of popcorn, 2 large sodas, 1 bottle of water and each kid got to pick out one box or bags of candy they wanted.... $59 and change total for that stuff....seats were old and the padding was wore out, it wasnt very comfortable and had to keep changing different positions while watching the movie?

My favorite thing to do, is to read these reviews from people who seem to have the most insignificant problems on the face of the planet... lol... What a bunch of cry babies... I moved here from a little town that had one theater. That theater had one screen... And you could hear the projector, and you could see the lights from the hallway, and the popcorn was microwaved!! And we loved that place... There are people in every town, in every state that dont have anything to eat today.... And people feel like theyve been ripped off if the seats arent big enough for their fat butts... Hollywood 18 is awesome! All of you complainers should forget your "first world problems" and maybe use your energy to go help someone who has real problems to deal with..... GOSH!

I had the strangest experience at this theater today. As the movie was wrapping up, but a full minute before the credits began to roll, one of the ushers came in, turned on the bright fluorescent overhead lights, and started walking down the aisle to clean. Since the movie was a tense courtroom drama that dealt with the Holocaust, it was a rather jarring way to be brought out of the emotional experience created by the film and abruptly returned to reality. There was at least an hour before the next showing in which to clean the theater, so it isnt like it was necessary to rush to get started so that the next showing could begin seating. Since there are nicer theaters closer to my home, I dont think I will be traveling back to Hollywood 18 any time soon.

My husband and I went and saw the sequel to "Now you see me." We didnt have a problem getting in or getting the wonderful popcorn. It was the seating that was horrible!! My husband is kinda petite so he was ok. Myself, however, I am a little bigger and have a few health problems. The seats would have bee okay if it wasnt for the arm rest. You cant put them down. So if your 200+ pounds you literally have to sit on the edge of ur seat to watch a movie. You cant lean back as the arm rest make it impossible. So if your the societies "norm" and are overweight I dont suggest this theatre for you. You wont enjoy your experience at all! Very sad for you Hollywood, I expected more walking through your luxurious entrance.

Overpriced and most theatres are small without reclining chairs. I told the manager tickets should be cheaper for the smaller theatres with cramped seating and he just blew me off. The popcorn butter makes me sick! Its pure oil and nasty. The popcorn seems like its from 3 days ago. Food prices are outrageous! I paid about 35$ for 1 ticket, large popcorn and large drink. Ill wait 3 weeks and see the movies at cinema 6. No 3d there but it gives me headaches anyhow. Seating is more spread out at cinema 6, and they have tables in between the chairs. Ticket 4$. Yes older but hey its clean and brings me back to my childhood theatre days! Go to cinema 6!!!

Overall, I like this theater. I agree they seem understaffed. I dont like when you go to a retail establishment and they ask for charity donations, which they did at both the ticket and concession counter. I think its rude, I really dislike that. I dont go to the movies often because its expensive and now they are trying to embarass me into giving a donation. Not cool. The air conditioning isnt really cold where you need a sweater, which I prefer. The pylon sign on 19 isnt tall enough so its easy to miss the street to turn on, so watch for that. Plenty of parking. So-so customer service. If they quit the donation thing I would add a star.

I really hate the theater setups here. You try to sit back and relax to watch the movies, but the chairs force you forward, and force you to loop "up" at the screen, which is uncomfortable for the neck. What makes it worse is the people behind you ALWAYS kick your seat and rest their feet against your chairs because theyre inconsiderate, and because the seats rock, it pushes you forward even more. I prefer movie theaters like Cobb because the seats are so spaced apart from one another that people cant kick your chairs. I also prefer how Cobb has the seats arranged so that peoples heads in front of you dont get in the way of the picture.

Im changing my review as of yesterdays experience. This theatre is not only way overpriced but has horrible staffing. I arrived at this theatre expecting to see a movie, they were closed. Their website said otherwise! I arrive, the lady at the front was very rude. She could not be bothered to tell me if they were going to be open or not. She was disrespectful and snooty all because I couldnt hear her and wanted to know if they were going to be open. Ive been here twice. Im debating whether to come again or not. I think paying $21 on tickets + $15 on gross food is just wrong.

Very nice theater and staff is always friendly. Prices are just the same as any other theater that a person would attend. Popcorn is fresh and you have the option of adding butter or not. You cant blame the theater because you get sick after asking them to add the butter for you. Seats are comfortable and remember you arent at home where you can lay or recline like you would in your own recliner. Have to make sure everyone has room. Want to see the picture without looking straight up like you would in any other theater, then get their earlier and sit further back.

Ok cinema was fine seats and screen comfortable enough and pleasantly clean. However I was trying to be a little more health concious and decided on a bottle of water when I realised that it was a hefty $5 I was at least expecting the larger bottle for that price (I mean the small (all be it lathe in size ) slushy drink was the same price) . Something is a little bit wrong there I shouldnt have to quench my thirst with soda. Other than that is was not any more or less special.

paid like $9 for pizza combo, when the lady said she would bring it to my seat instead of me having to wait 7 minutes, I said sure and let her bring to seat, the pizza must be frozen and oven not working, pizza was literally ice cold in middle, wasnt going to miss more of movie bringing back , this theater is very worn down and dirty, seating is comfortable, people are friendly but the cold pizza and dirtiness are reason for low review
