Great place to watch a movie for cheap. Ive been here many times to get away from the rip-off job that is the bigger theaters in the area. Heres the deal, the thing about those big corp theaters like Edwards or AMC is they have the budget to make their cinemas look big and beautiful. Youre not gonna get that here. You get to watch a flick for just under 7 bucks and if you buy a large popcorn and drink, just like the bigger theater chains, you get a free refill. DEAL! I havent been there in about a month, but the last time I was there they were renovating the lobby, so that tells me theyre trying. The seats are decent and I personally think the staff are friendly. Someone complained about it not having a canopy? Are you crazy? Where have you been to, that a cinema had a canopy outside to block out the sun? Haha, too funny. Now whether or not the person in charge had an attitude about you asking, thats a different story. Again, I have never had customer service issues, but thats no excuse for customer discourtesy even though I think youre being ridiculous about the canopy thing.

We are new to California and were very disappointed in an experience we had at Regency 8 in Fontana on Valentines Day. We went to watch a 730 movie, prior to going in to the theatre we bought food/snacks at the concession stand. Finally upon entering the theatre (10 mins before movie was going to start) we noticed the theatre was completely full and there were no seats for us. We immediately notified an employee who called the manager. The manager came and apologized said we could watch the next showing at 1030. We explained that unfortunately that would not be an option for us as we both had work the next morning and only had a sitter until 11. She said she would give us tickets for another day. We asked her if we could return the $38 worth of snacks that we had just purchased and not opened she said no said she couldnt help us there. Unfortunately we were stuck with $38 worth of snacks and no movie to watch. It was the worst experience ever. Needless to say we wont be going back Worst Customer Service ever.

I would say the price for a Sunday movie was great and the seats were comfortable. I wanted to get popcorn and stood in line for over 10 mins with the line barely moving. Finally I got really frustrated since the movie had already started. I approached a person who seemed to be the manager regarding the situation and hes answer was there is nothing I can do about it. Im sorry its a Sunday afternoon, staff accordingly. I have been in retail management for a long time and if need be have jumped behind the register when it gets super busy. Even though I love the Sunday deal, I doubt I will go there again, rather pay more and go to AMC and get better service.

This isnt the most comfortable, cleanest theater by far. However, we still come here often because weve got three small kids (ages 4, 5, and 6) and because they can be unpredictable we like that its not crowded and the $5 all-day-Sundays are perfect for them. Its less pressure on us to make sure they are quiet when most of the time on a Sunday morning were the only ones in there. When my husband and I are kid-free and we want to go see a movie, we will go to a luxury theater with a bar, but when we have the kids this is where we go. Those of you rating it low need to think about it in context; you get what you pay for.

Nice little joint. The staff are great all real friendly and helpful. Everythings always clean whenever I go and the seats are new too. Some of the screens are kinda small, but those only show the movies that have been out a while at least. I also wish the rows of seats slanted up more, but the ones towards the back are good. Got an Icee swirl and the smoothest and buttery-est popcorn. Cheap 5.50$ tickets all day until 6pm! Cant beat that for new releases. It gets crazy packed on sat and sun, so BE prepared.

Its an affordable theater and is great for going out when you dont want to spend too much. However, I have been here a couple times when it is raining and the roof tiles have fallen sometimes on the inside of the theater because the rain will seep through the roof. Also, when buying snacks there is usually a short line but very slow employees that take long with purchases.

Not a good experience, if your going to have customers, wait outside in the sun for a showing. You should provide a canopy to cover the sun. And your manager very rude. When asked why canopy not provided. Very pist off. Dont know if you Care, But according to ruiz manager incharege. Corporate dont care if we customers stand in the sun. Shame on you. Never coming back.

I have lived in Fontana for more than 18 years and I really love this theater. This tickets are affordable and very reasonable. I would rather come here than go to the mall to pay way more money for movie tickets and even more for snacks. Its always clean and the workers there are very friendly. I never have had a problem. Thank you for your service.

Usually not crowded, except on big block buster premiers, and the seating is decent, though a little low, but still comfortable for a full movie experience. They have a small arcade that has decent games and the concession stand is a bit pricey, but what theater doesnt have that?

i love this movie theater its better than amc because amc charges a lot of money. regency only charges $6 per person or 7 i dont know. Im just saying that regency has the best service, best food, and best movies. i definitely recommend going to this theater :-)

The Fontana 8 is for the Real Movie Go Getter. Nice Ticket prices and Ice Cold AC and The Workers Dont have Attitudes. They are Helpful Good Fresh Popcorn with free refill and $1.00 Hotdogs. Come See for yourself Awesome Time in the Fontana Area.

There was a homeless man walking in and out during a movie. He eventually fell asleep an began snoring while the movie was still playing. I dont think the staff was even aware of it. Seats are dirty and disgusting.

Everything is ok but I didnt like the fact that you have to wait in line to get a refile , I dont think its fair that you have to miss the movie because your in line waiting for the popcorn refile.

Cheap prices not many crowds and all the latest movies . Why go pay more at Edwards or AMC? This is Fontanas gem . This is not the the old best up theatre you remember its clean and youll love it
