Ive always loved this small home town theater. Ive been going to it for the last 40+ years. Their ticket prices and snacks are extremely affordable. The theater itself is a delightful venue to enjoy a film. The modern sound system is one of the best in the area. Having said that, I can no longer whole heartedly recommend planning a trip to a movie at the West Shore Theater. Tonight was the 2nd time in the last 6 months where I planned to go here to a movie, got dressed, drove to the theater, and was told they would not be showing the advertised film because not enough people showed up. If I happen to be driving by when a movie is scheduled to start, I may still stop in. But I will no longer plan on going to a movie, get ready, and make a special trip to the theater on only a chance that it will be actually played.

My wife and I love going to movies here and now with the new digital projection system, its even better. Where else can a couple go to the movies w/ snacks for less than $15. Were not ones that have to see the movie when it first comes out so waiting a few weeks to see it here, is well worth it. So glad they were able to upgrade and keep the price of a ticket reasonable.

This is a throwback to the 50s movie days, including the prices. It’s a safe quaint theatre that shows 2nd and 3rd run movies. No 3D here unless they are showing some old film and you have your Red and Blue glasses. Great place to have some fun and enjoy the movies that you wanted to see but didnt quite get a chance when they first came out.

This is the gem of New Cumberland! The faded movie palace feeling is of a bygone era! The fact that it is a family owned business for generations is heartwarming, the price of a ticket cannot be beat; the charm factor is a "10"! We have been weekly customers since moving here two years ago; it has become a family tradition.

This place used to be superb. Since new management took over in 2015, I have to wonder what the heck happened? They now get movies that are already out on DVD, pay-per-view, ect! This place is an architect wonder-built in the late 1930s and it is a shame that management is not operating it the way it used to be pre 2015.

Ive been going to the West Shore Theater for decades. There is no better place in the central PA area to go for 2nd-run movies. Tickets and concession prices are cheap, and this family-run theater has an old-time, quaint, comfortable charm about it. Highly recommended.

Love this little small town theater. There are so few left and it an absolute treasure to have in New Cumberland! Id love to see them bring a volunteer theater group and play camps for kids over the summer!

I hold out for a movie when I know its schedule for a showing at the West Shore theater. This local theater is charming and not overpriced. Been there a hundred times.

Cozy, single theater. We usually attend their free matinee that usually once per month. Snack prices are a steal for a movie theaters. Donations are accepted.

Wonderful family run business. Great for a date night or weekend matinee with the kids. Concession and ticket prices very affordable. Very clean.
