Im disabled and have 2 disabled kids 2 and 11 years old we dont get out much. We went to see batman vs superman it was the first time we had been out in years it was my birthday the first one I ever got to celebrate and they ruined it! My tot started to fuss a little not bad but I was respectful to the other movie goers and took her out to the hallway to calm down. She was behaving just sitting on a bench with me. I sat in the hall for about 10 minutes when staff approached me and told me to leave I showed my tickets explained what was going on thought theyd understand but oh no. So on my date I was booted out of the theater and I sat outside with my tot waiting on the movie to be over so we could all leave but when we got to our car LPD pulls up said the staff had called in that a drunk lady was letting her child run around unattended and she didnt have any shoes on so they actually called in a false report and almost caused me to go to jail and lose my children. I told the cops test me because I dont drink ever I told the cops what was going on it was nothing they made a big deal out of a disabled child who took her own shoes off which i had in my hand and she was never arms length away from me! I have never been so humiliated in all my life its a damn shame that they discriminated against my disabled child and ruined my birthday. The cops let me go but I was humiliated I told them if they didnt leave me alone Id sue the theater and the LPD because that kind of treatment is illegal and uncalled for she wasnt screaming or causing a scene she was just starting to quietly whine when i took her out I had it handled properly they took it to a whole new level!

All of the regular movie theaters in Lakeland went out of business and the Cobb was the only one left. It is large, has big seats, and is pretty new. Unfortunately, the theater staff are too wrapped up in their own lives to look you in the eye. The theaters are not cleaned well between shows and 3D glasses always come to me covered in popcorn grease (sanitized...yeah right). They also added the DBox chairs to many of the theaters which are reserved when you buy your tickets at an additional fee. They take up all the good seats in the room, make me sea sick, and youll spend the first ten minutes of the movie watching an attendant check all the Dbox ticket holders to make sure they paid extra for their seats (followed by an argument while the attendant tries to kick people out of their seats who didnt pay the extra fee). This brings me to how overpriced this theater is. Tampa and Brandon are actually cheaper and their theater candy is better. The Cobb only carries a couple of off brand box candies but if you want to spend your dinner allowance on their greasy homemade cookies then have at it. I cant wait until this theater has some competition so they can clean up their cocky attitude. Be warned that the crowd on Friday nights is rough. Youll notice all of the police cars surrounding the entrance and be thankful theyre there.

It use to be a great theater but Ive had too many instances with how loud they keep their movies. There were times I had to go and ask them to turn it down some, I love my movies loud but they seriously over do it. They dont care and Im sure they have no way of measuring and setting a volume range (dB) because the sound is just crazy. Im not lying when I say one time me and a girlfriend were in there and the previews came on and it was so blistering loud I thought the speakers were gonna blow! Either someone purposely cranked it to max or didnt know what the hell they were doing. Everyone was covering their ears and surprisingly I was then only one who got up after dealing with it for a good 4 minutes, everyone else must have thought it would have been noticed but nobody was doing anything about it. Like I said, I love my movies to be loud but Im not trying to go deaf...

Ive been a avid Cobb moviegoer for years but a recent change to their policy regarding purses has made me swear to never visit them again. If you bring a purse they will require you to allow a manager to search it before entering the theater for "security reasons". In reality this is to discourage people from bringing in outside food and drink. I understand that theaters would try to discourage people from bringing in their own food but treating your customers like criminals before entering a movie is distasteful at best and at worst shameful for trying to profit off of the recent violence in movie theaters for their own corporate gain. I will never visit this movie theater again until they change their policy.

It is the only theater south of I-4 that shows first-run films, I am happy to have it. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. The theaters and restrooms are clean, esp. considering the number of people they accommodate. I have complained only twice, once about people talking, and once about a bathroom issue. Both problems were addressed immediately by one of the management staff. As for "people getting in without paying": we buy tickets for a show, then go to one of the conveniently-located restaurants for dinner. That way, if the food or service is slow, we can duck into the theater without having to wait in line. Its called planning ahead.

This Cobb theater is great. There is another theater 10 min from my house but I always drive the 25 min to get to this one because it offers a much better experience. It has a big roomy lobby that keeps congestion down in peak times and nice comfortable theater rooms for watching the movies. I have the rewards card and it gives me free items every time I accumulate 10 points which happens fast. Every 200 points it gives me all the free items they offer at one time, well worth it. The Cobb makes going out to the movies a pleasure.

Waisted my time and frustrated a lot of customers due to them putting a new release movie in a small theatre with half of tge seats with mew d box seats...they r forcong customers to upgrade. .there were about 15 other customers frustrated and asked for a refund....they at least did that but sorta ruined my trip to the movies....friends drove in from 40 minutes away for nothing....i guess you need to call now before goingtothe movies so tou dont waist time and money..

Very dissastified. Waited 2 days and got friends together to watch a movie just to get here and be told their Google show times are wrong and the movie we came to see doesnt come out for another month!! Ive always used this way for show times and never had problems before. The girl said its Google and not their problem! I work for a business and know very well all you have to do is call and update your stuff and they will fix it. Not the only one that was angry!!
