I had a terrible experience here tonight, I went to see wonder woman with my wife. Upon arrival and purchase we were able to choose our seats, once we sat a couple guys came and said we were in their seats, I told them it wasnt possible that these were the disignated seats we chose after about 5 minutes they went and spoke with some employees to get us to move. When the employee came I couldnt find my tickets to prove I was telling the truth and said I had mustve thrown them away they then begin to treat us like a couple of hoodlum teenagers movie hopping, without incident my wife and I moved so that we could just enjoy the movie and I had began to think that I had mixed up our seats. Once I got home I found our tickets and sure enough they were for the seats we had originally sat in. Im personally disappointed in how they decided to handle the situation and then how they began to treat and talk to us. I understand there is no vetting process in hiring a theatre attendant but at least train your staff to be polite and curdious. For the guys that went and ran to the employees and told them we were moving hoping, I have no words and if I did they would block my review. We were refunded for the food that went cold which my wife and I did appreciate that gesture, but the overall experience was terrible. My wife was more than excited to see this movie and it was completely ruined from this experience. We even purchased a rewards card from this theatre tonight as our first overall impressions were great. Needless to say we will definitely not be back here. Others told me it is a regular thing for them to double book seats.

This theater needs an update. The seats r old and the IMAX is not even loud. The other theaters are small and sound is awful. Most AMC theaters have cushion seats and recline a little but this theater still have the awful uncomfortable seats. Please update. Update 1/2/2017 Just visited AMC 24 and I love the updates that were very much needed. All the theaters now have full recline seats and the audio is ten times better. The screens looked better and the picture was sharper. They also added a Dolby theater which is like a IMAX theater but better because of the premium reclining seats and the sounds is awesome. Everything else is still the same and thats good because I like how AMC runs there theater. The reward system has been revamped and they give the members who are premium stubs member more VIP status. It sucks that the reward went from 10 dollars to 5 dollars and it takes longer to get there now but the other perks make up for that. Im glad AMC is has listened to the complaints and are trying to improve. Now IMAX needs to update their theaters. Also wish the concession stands would be a little cheaper even though I know this is how the theater makes their money. Overall this theater has finally got with the times and it will make me return to see a movie anytime. O I also forgot they added assigned seats which is amazing because now u dont have to wait in a line for hrs to get a good seat.

I had an issue here with using Fandango, i had already bought tickets but i wanted to upgrade to see the same movie, same day, but in 3D. I didnt care that I had to pay a little extra, my boyfriend just really wanted to see a specific movie. So I called Fandango and when I could solve my problem with them, I called the theater and spoke with the manager. Now, even though AMC would be receiving the money from the fandango promo ticket. He was UNWILLING to just accept the additional out-of-pocket fee for me and my boyfriend to upgrade to the 3D movie at a different time. Ridiculous! regardless if its a third party, AMC is still going to be receiving money for a ticket that I received!! An additional $8 is only going to make it better people! It a win win for you obviously! I find it ridiculous how you have people sneaking into movies they didnt buy, or how they charge you your right arm for a soda and some popcorn, but when an individual is willing to pay a little more, they are unwilling to help a customer. Ridiculous! I will NOT be going to this theater again after this. CineBistro for us next time!!

I went here with my three month old baby one afternoon to watch a movie. My first outing with the baby since I had given birth.I needed to relax and get out. I timed it perfect so he would sleep through the whole movie.I was denied entrance after I had already bought my ticket because "children under 6 are not allowed to enter a rated "R" movie". I thought it was a joke so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager stated that these are the rules and I could not take my three month old sleeping infant into a rated "R" movie. Really?? I believe young children shouldnt see rated "R" movies but a sleeping infant? I asked for a refund and the manager did give it to me after telling me I was a bad example for my child. Im sure my 3 month old sleeping baby will grow up to be a felon or dead beat because I tried to take him to a rated "R"movie LOL what a joke! These people will never get one penny of my money ever again! I will gladly take my child to another theater to see years and years of kid movies!

This is a rather nice AMC with lots of screens and a fairly decent staff. Pretty typical to most AMC theaters with newer accommodations like IMax 3D, reclining seats in some theaters, and the new reserved seating... which I love! Really feel that was a long time coming, and a great enhancement to the theater going experience. We no longer have to be concerned about getting to the movie extra early to secure a decent seat. As with any movie theater these days, the prices for food are outrageous, and we rarely visit the concession stand because of it. They do, however, have the Coke freestyle machines here, which are a nice addition for the variety they offer. I dont recall ever coming to this location and seeing a dirty theater when we arrived. The staff here have always been pretty accommodating, but I dont expect too much since its mostly teens working behind the counters. Overall, a nice theater that we have been visiting for close to 10 years and will continue to go back to.

This is my favorite theater of anywhere in the Tampa area. The employees are friendly, helpful, and efficient. In the hundred or so times I have been here I could count on one hand the number of times I have had even a small complaint. The theaters themselves offer very comfortable (stadium) seating, and superior picture and sound quality. They are also much cleaner than other competing theaters. I agree that the IMAX auditorium here is smaller than some, however they are using 4K digital projection which many of the Liemax theaters do not. I dont think anyone would argue that the pictue was anything but excellent. The management here is also VERY good. Pat, the manager has always been very friendly, and eager to make sure you have a good moviegoing experience. It is much appreciated, and makes a big difference on my choice of theaters. This establishment would be a much different place without him. The AMC Veterans 24 is certainly my first and favorite choice for movies.
