Amc theatres segregate people in lines by putting down an "exclusive member" line or its whatever its called. With the brand new member system, members can get free large popcorn refills and skip to the front of the line when buying tickets. The soda machines are pretty cool considering you got a touch screen to choose your sodas, that is if you dont mind touching what other people have. Popcorn and soda are over priced and come on, what movie theatre doesnt over price their popcorn and soda? In the rooms to see the movies, you got the surround sound blasting, but outside the rooms you can barley hear the movie considering all the sound proof equipment they have. And for the kids, the arcade. The arcade is semi expensive as you got shooting games, racing games, rip off claw machines, and the "give me your money and based on your skills youll get a prize" machines. Now there are machines where you insert bills up to $20 youll get coins, with no catch (amazing, right?) When you step out of the theatre to refill your popcorn or drink, the employees at stands are unsurprisingly smart enough to be capable of facial recognition so when you refill your snacks, you dont have to drop everything to show them your ticket. No traffic getting in or out and when you step out of amc, youre "kindly" greeted by the blinding sun in which case, youll be squinting so hard you wont be able to see that car coming. Parking spaces, theres more than enough so just park the closest. The employees at the concession stand have no attitude what so ever, which is pretty cool because I dont think they get paid enough to deal with people who can have attitudes and get away with it. So if youre in town, or just visiting, stop by amc (but get your snacks at walgreens first next to stew Leonards to save money) Have a nice day!!

I just got off the phone with Mary, one of the managers who was so extremely nice and helpful. Were trying to coordinate tickets for the New Avenger movie for our daughters birthday party and asked if it would be possible to reserve seats. Not yet she said, but they are working on doing that soon. That would be AWESOME for young movie go-ers who need to sit together so they can be all be supervised. No fun to have your friends to the movies for your birthday and theyre on separate ends of the theater! I definitely appreciate when people give good customer service, are pleasant and helpful even if its not always the answer Im looking for. Aside from that, their theaters are always being clean and having a good selection of multiple movie times for new movies. Thanks Mary, and looking forward to the possibility of reserving seats for larger parties in the future!

While this isnt the worst theater, you can tell that a lack of competition in the area has caused the higher ups at AMC to leave it behind. The branding is almost always one generation off from other AMCs, the "IMAX" theater does not have an actual full sized IMAX screen, and the 3D projectors are sometimes misaligned (leading to ghosting, even when viewed through 3D glasses). I find that certain theaters have the sound too low, making it hard to hear quieter scenes above the whispers of other moviegoers. That said, the staff is very friendly and helpful and I do not fault them for the decisions of their corporate overlords. At the end of the day, this multiplex will keep getting business because there are no other theaters with more than 3 screens for at least 25 miles. AMC doesnt have to try very hard to keep customers, but I wish they would.

I went to see NYSM2 last night and I couldnt believe how loud they keep the sound level for such a small theatre. Do they think that all the people are going to be yelling and screaming? If you want to bring children or people, like me, with acute hearing, bring sound dampening headphones. Even though the lines were long, they got all of us our tickets quickly. The popcorn was freshly popped this time, not the stale stuff. By the time our movie was done, the lobby had been swept up and the counters cleaned. The seats are very comfy didnt shift once during the whole movie. Plenty of parking and didnt have a traffic jam on the way out. Theater employees were pleasant and efficient.

This theater was GREAT FUN to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES! It was opening night, we preflight the tickets online but because we were a group of 5 and wanted to sit together, we assumed that it was going to be very difficult if not impossible to get seats together, in a good location. Well, unknown to me, Eric, my son was able to actually pick out our seats for us, right in the center of the theater. We said it was just to keep count of #of people/tickets sold but they were actually held for us and I was very impressed!! That was awesome!! It was a sold out show! Go see it, it is a great movie!

Last night my party went to see "The Winters Tale" NT Live production, and was deeply disappointed by the technical staff. 1) the movie started 30 minutes late; 2) the lights came up 20 minutes early; 3) the final 5 minutes of the film was sound only, no picture. Several displeased customers spoke with a representative from the theater who said "we just get this stuff, we dont know the content" and claimed that someone was in the booth. I know the latter not to be true because when the lights came up before the film ended, I went to the booth and it was empty.

Although they own the film-goers for miles and miles, Loews will never give back to the community by donating tickets for any event, not even for a fundraiser to help a young, legless Marine get a handicap house. Shame on them! Become part of the community by giving back! Little Edmund Town Hall in Newtown donated 20 tickets, and so should you! Loews hides behind the "You have to take it up with Corporate" who, by the way, will never return a phone call, just send an automated response that says "No".

Best theatre around but do not see an "IMAX" movie here. Screen might be the largest they have but doesnt appear to be by much and is not what youd expect if youve ever seen a movie on a proper IMAX screen. Other than that its a great theatre. Also let us return tickets with no issue when trying to see star wars opening week as only the very front row was available and no way we were watching that much less anything else from that angle.

They have many different movie choices because this is a very large theater they have a slushy machine and you could put your butter and popcorn after they have hundreds of drink choices Im not even kidding or exaggerating they have a machine or you could choose over 400 different drinks it is awesome and a great spot to bring your family I would recommend this to anybody also they have free refills for large popcorns and drinks

I am big movie buff and always find myself going to a movie once a week. I pay the 12 dollars a year or whatever it is for the premiere access but it seems you went and changed all your prices on drinks and snacks. You also got rid of the small popcorn and offer different sizes that apparently my card does not get me a discount anymore. The only reason you get 4 stars is because you do not have any competition in the area.
