We had our wedding here and our event was beautiful!!! We were so pleased with how the decor and setting turned out! The only issues my husband and I had were the interactions with the venue coordinator, Cathy, at the rehearsal and on the wedding day. She was very sweet to Me, the bride, but our bridal party, vendors, and family members felt very disrespected. Maybe it was the stress and chaos of the event. The other issue we had was that there were several things she said she and her staff would do during and after the events that were not done-appetizers were not served in the correct location which disrupted the flow of the evening, the cake was not sliced and placed on the cake table for the guests when they were supposed to be, and all the decor items I brought were not packed away and set out for us to take. All of these were things we discussed prior to the event. These are small things, but when you pay as much as you do for this venue, you expect the things discussed to take place. During the reception, none of my vendors or coordinators could find her. Like I said, our wedding and reception were beautiful! More beautiful than I could have imagined! The food was also delicious. It was better than the tastings. If you get married here, make sure you have your own wedding coordinator to help with all of the other details and plan to do all coordination yourself just in case. I had 2 coordinators and that helped a great deal!

The venue (s) are beautiful! However, the way the business is being ran is unsophisticated and unethical in its practices. Cathy, the wedding planner does a very good job decorating but she does horrible job at returning calls and emails. To make a long story short, i booked my wedding over the phone with Cathy, she never presented a written contract of their policies and our agreement. I canceled 1 month in advance and requested the money back that I put towards the wedding. Not only did hey give mrthe run around by not returning my calls and claimed they were looking for "my contract"(which they never had one nor did they present one for me to sign!) they lied and said I never called to cancel. I spoke to Cathy and she never document the call. She was very rude and didnt give me the attention that I deserved as a client. They claimed they sent me emails and calls to confirm my reservation but I didnt receive not one! (Another lie) they also said the phone number on file was wrong, however they had an email on file that they could have reached me at and they never did! Im in the process of taking them to small claims court. Yes this place is a lot cheaper than most wedding venues but case in point you get what you pay for. Bad business! If you do decide to have your wedding here make sure to sign a detailed contract!

On October 14, 2014, my fiancé and I stopped by Dallas Palms for an evening tour to try to find a venue for our upcoming wedding in 2015. Due to our hectic schedules and traffic we arrived a bit late - 6:30 pm. The staff was very courteous even walking so late. We were given a tour of all ballrooms available, all garden views, bride/groom parlors, kitchen etc. The entire time we were given suggestions on what we could do for our wedding. We had to change our destination wedding into a local event but Dallas Palms was absolutely great. We had absolutely no intentions of booking anything and we walked out with contract in hand around 9:00 pm. We discussed food, variations of beverage options, just so helpful in all aspects. Dallas Palms is absolutely beautiful and I am certain our wedding will be just as beautiful. We were not rushed at all which is what I especially appreciated. Thanks so much Dallas Palms!!

Me and my wife recently celebrated our wedding and were very delighted to use Dallas Palms. The staff there are very involved in the planning process and worked to provide everything that we needed. They understood our vision and worked with us to make sure we had a memorable experience for us and our guest. There wasnt much we had to get apart from them as they had various in-house services such as coordinators and decorators and if they didnt have it, they provided contacts for them. The biggest benefit was the ability to have an outside wedding and move to the inside for the reception. I recommend these venue to anyone who is looking for the non traditional and want to be creative.

The coordinator was rude to my mom, grandmother, aunt and makeup artist. Yelling at them to switch rooms because they had an event coming up in the building we were instructed to get ready in. They could have politely asked them to switch buildings instead of being disrespectful to my family members. We gave a head count a week before the wedding and somehow ran out of appetizers. Also there was a ladder propped up against the building next door for everyone to see which looked very tacky and was caught in some my pictures. Also they started another event immediately after my ceremony so during pictures we could hear the group next door.

Although the venue is great and beautiful the customer service was awful. Nadia was great to work with but Cathy the coordinator was not very friendly. She constantly would forget to add things that I would tell her to the contract, the flowers in the bouquet were wrong, she wouldnt answer calls, she mistreated guests, bridal party, and our pastor that officiated the ceremony. Our wedding cake was also ruined because they served it frozen instead of just refrigerating it and the sparklers for our exit were misplaced. The place is definitely lacking some order.

My fiancee and I recently chose to book our wedding with Dallas Palms. We visited about 10 venues that we found through websites such as Wedding Wire and The Knot, but actually just drove by this place and wanted to know more. The staff are incredibly helpful and I look forward to working with them in the next few months. The venue is very spacious and elegant, and they can customize packages to fit every need. We feel relieved and excited to have such a great place to work with for our big day!

We have been searching for a venue since May. One venue cancel after we had given a down payment, another one double booked us and wouldnt be able to fit both weddings and the third Ive been waiting for a response or proposal for the last 3 weeks. After leaving a voicemail they called me right back scheduled a tour the next day (they waited for us after hours since we work) and they gave us all the attention in the world and most importantly hope

UN-BELIEVABLE! For starters.... Dont demeanor the entertainment for the night, because they can easily pick up and go. The wedding coordinator there, Cathy truly needs to be replaced. How she speaks to the hired helped to how she speaks to the people renting the place was a complete 180. Very rude, very unprofessional. I dont wish this upon anyone! Getting married anytime soon? Look elsewhere.

My fiancée and I have been treated like royalty during our experience with the Dallas Palms. I cant imagine it being any better as the professionals here have been all that we could hope for. Any questions or concerns have been answered in no time at all. I would suggest the Dallas Palms to all of my friends and family.
