This review is with a heavy heart . My son and I go here all the time to watch primarily new 1st week release movies on the Xtreme Screen . Normally it is an awesome experience I.E. Dolby Atmos Sound reclining seats and good snacks and drinks . The Xtreme Screen experience is a big plus in watching a Blockbuster Movie . Seems more immersive than a regular screen by far . Today I went to see Atomic Blonde playing on Xtreme Screen 3 . After 10mins in I went to complain to the manager that the movie does not fill the screen like at home when watching a movie with bars on top and bottom AKE aspect ratio does not match screen 2.35 instead of 1.85 . He saw the issue and tried to tell me that because its shot in Scope a.ke. 2.35 ratio thats why it looks like that if they fill the screen your feet would block the view . Hilarious I thought as other theatres at least have motorized curtains that are black and are adjusted accordingly top bottom and sides to frame the movie or mask the movie as some people call it . Even the GM seemed unapologetic like 90% of the movies are that way he said . Not true on the movies that are showed on the Xtreme Screen that my son and I have seen 25 or so did not look like what I saw today . NOT COOL ADVERTISING XTREME SCREEN when you get a letterbox style movie on TV not an immersiv experience. Very dissatisfied with the lack of concern from upper management. Not worth the extra $$$ unless I would have the ability like at home to zoom in a.k.e. change format to fill the screen . I dont know too many people that pay for a 65"+ screen tv and dont do that so the movie is more immersiv. For 40+ years broadcast tv would do that . Remember when before the movie would start it would say the format has been adjusted from original to fit your screen . If showing a movie on Xtreme Screen either only show 1.85 format movies or mask the 2.35 format or make aspect ratio adjustment to fill the screen. When Im paying for a big screen experience that is what I expect otherwise I would pay less and see the movie on regular screen . Summary if Im paying extra to see a movie shown on a 70x30 ( 2100 sq. Ft ) Screen and Im shown a movie at roughly 70x21 ( 1470 sg ft ) I feel cheated . Thats 30% less SCREEN for a premium price . Less for more does not sound like a goid deal to me . LOL

The theater is very nice and clean. The staff is very helpful. They even offer free movies during the summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have seen 2 movies there with the most recent being IT. Both times have been very pleasant experiences. There are a couple bad reviews where one person gave it 1 star because a hot dog caught on fire and he happened to have a fire extinguisher with him. LOL, Yea right. Another one where Cecillia claims "I went to my seat and it wasnt reclining, but the movie had started so I didnt go out and just decided to talk to them afterwards. I told them what happened and asked for compensation because it was uncomfortable and AMC always gives it." AMC always gives it? Is this something that happens to you and you do on a regular basis? If this happens to you at AMC and Xscape regularly I would think that possibly you do not know how to operate the seats. For my family and I Xscape has been a wonderful experience.

Potential is there, the theatre is gorgeous and the self serve system is interesting but!!! We got there for a 11:10 am showing of Moana. That time wasnt listed on the self help kiosk. So we went to concession stand and ordered tickets. We were charged for 3 tickets but only wanted two. Had to wait for manager to get refund. No big deal. But! We went to the theatre found our seats and waited for the pre show commercials to end which they did and then the screen went blank and music started playing like they do in between shows. We waited for five minutes then I called the theatre from my seat and let them know it hasnt started yet. He said he would let the Manager know. Its now 11:32 and it still hasnt started. Ill post again if it ever starts. I changed my rating to 4 Stars, the movie started around 11:35 and when it was over the Manager gave everyone in the Theatre a free movie pass for their next visit.

This theater has a ton of potential, but has its issues. Somehow they sold the same seats to several different groups in my theater. We had to explain ourselves to the employee two times, and were harassed by a pissed off customer who lost their seat. The theater did nothing except stand there...all while the movie we paid to see was playing in the background. The screen was huge, and the sound was good. The seats were very comfortable too, but I was left with a bad experience in the end. They need to fix their seating setup, and their online ticket sales. Im guessing thats how what happened, but no one at the theater seemed to care.

MY, yeah you heard me MY experience, with this place was like eating an oyster, I like oysters, but beware this place is crawling with INVISIBLE squirrel and raccoon fights EVERYWHERE. One time I was playing Pokemon Go and there there was a fire cause some hot dogs caught flames, and I was the only one with a extinguisher. It was a very pretty extinguisher it had sequins and it sparkled in the moon light. So I recommend going here, I didnt put stars down because this place doesnt deserve my respect. Good day sir!✨

Our boys had a birthday party today to see Lego Batman Movie and I couldnt have been happier! Kevin, Sonia, and especially Cassidy were outstanding with helping out and making our time there special! I would highly recommend organizing your kids birthday parties there with this team! Thanks XScape movie theater for an awesome day! What a great idea! You should advertise this opportunity to the public! Many of my guests didnt even know this was an option! Hope our party brings more parties! Thanks again!

They charge $3.75 for a microwaved whitecastle burger. It doesnt even come with any condiments or anything. At white castle its 90 cents for a cheeseburger with everything. Then one of the soda machines tasted like trash. At least the seating and screen were okay. Just dont even try to buy food here. Sure its a movie theatre, and yeah they charge a lot for food, but our total was $35 for 6 whitecastle sliders that werent even hot and a miniscule amount of fries.

This theater is really impressive. Seats recline, place appears clean, surround sound top notch. Snacks are way too expensive though, pack your own goobers & raisinettes as you will need a home equity loan for the snack tray. The night we went, we preordered our seats, there were plenty more seats available. Its farther away from our usual theater but seemed worth the trip. All were kind to others and no cell texting or rings during our movie... :)
