I thought about this all night after returning from Lollipop Park with my family on how to rate this experience. I searched google for different venues for the kids and I got several great well known names for activities such as Six Flags, Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, IMAX, etc. I thought for about the same price lets try Lollipop Park. This was the worst experience ever. The website makes it seem bigger then what it really looks like. When you walk in it appears to be this huge facility pack with family fun. However, theres multiple venues or businesses going on at the same time. The price was $14.95 for 6 rides. No value for your money. I paid for 2 tickets for 2 kids. After 20 minutes my 7 year old daughter said can we go on the other side meaning directly across were games and bumper cars, but I tried explaining that was a different business or company and cost more money. She said is this all? We could have spent the same money with food at Chuckie Cheese. There was a 2 other Dads one with is daughter having a Birthday party who was really upset. Had had 15 people in his party. We started talking and he said this was pretty lame for the cost. He said that after 30 mins most of his friends and family left. The staff was absolutely horrible. No smiles, no friendly interactions with the kids, just Robot movement. One staff member just read a book the whole time she was so bored. The others were yawning and looking sleepy. When we left the staff never looked up to thank us or to welcome us back or to wave bye. Which lets me know they hate their jobs and the company they represent. I will not recommend this to anyone, you could very well for the same price find other experiences that meet your family needs. In this economy you have to stretch your dollars and get the best value and service for your money. Overall a simple free park with a swing set and slides have a much better impact on my family and the kids are always happy and they get to play with and meet kids in the neighborhood! Just the simple things in life that dont cost a dime.

My husband and I visited Lollipop Park for the 1st time this weekend with our 20 month old daughter and 3 year old son and we had so much fun! It is a hidden treasure as there is nothing else like it in Colorado as there is amusement park rides indoors. I remember when I was younger and my parents would take me to Funtastic Nathans in Cinderella City mall and it was my favorite place to go and to find out this weekend when we went that this park was started up by the same owners, wow what a full circle! My children loved all the rides and went on them several times. We also were able to go on a couple with them which was fun. I found the price to be very reasonable as it included unlimited rides until 9pm which is amazing hours and we could come and go as we pleased. At the fair this year we paid the same price as we did for the price of Lollipop Park and our toddler only got to ride a few rides. I also like how they are open everyday, and arent closed for birthday parties on the weekends like some other fun indoor kid places. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and fun. Also we never stood in a line for more then a couple minutes (if there was a line at all) and we were there on a Saturday which was so nice! I also had the chance to meet the owners and they were both very down to earth and friendly and it was very apparent to me how passionate they are about what they do and giving back to the community. I am a Social Worker and I thought it was so neat to see in their front entrance glass case the tens of thousands letters the owners have received from agencies/people thanking them for their contributions to the community. So cheers to the owners, Colorado needs more business owners like you and I will continue to support business owners like yourselves, and I hope others do as well! Also I like how Lollipop Park is housed in the South Suburban Family Sports Center Complex. It was fun to walk around and see an ice hockey game at their ice arena. We will definitely be back many times and I have already told all my good friends about this place!

Safety nightmare at lollipop park- BEWARE. Young kids operate the rides and pay little attention to what is going on. Our youngest child was violently thrown from the "whip" ride and nearly had her legs severed by her own cart. Thankfully she was only bruised and the ride stopped just before the rollers went over her legs... This happened because The operator let additional kids on and did NOT seatbelt them in. He also let the kids stand up and grab cars in front of them... These are 3 and 4 year old kids that lack the understanding and judgment that the operators are paid to watch for in safely operating the rides. And adding insult to injury we were accosted by a member of the management staff when we commented how unsafe the combination of old equipment and staff presented. We were dealt with in an incredibly hostile manner to be honest. And this following our 4 year old being violently ejected from their equipment! The owner told us she reviewed the film and let the employee go as a result.... Well we later discovered this was a lie because we saw the same kid operating another ride when we left an hour later. I dont believe that this place can be trusted and only has its own interests in mind. We saw 2 other kids hurt, and the ride stopped so those kids could be pulled off, during the morning on this same ride from having their heads hit against the side of the cart when it whips around. BEWARE of taking your kids here!

My boys (ages 3 and 5 1/2) were on Christmas break so we decided to give Lollipop Park another try. The 1st time we went was over the summer and it wasnt that great. There were only two staff managing the rides which meant only two rides could be ridden at one time. (Lame) Plus, you have to ride the attractions in a certain order so if your child wants to go back on the previous ride, they wont do it unless an attendant is present. However, this time (over break) there were 5 attendants and they looked liked they were either in high school or college students. One guy in particular was a lot of fun and tried to high-five the kids as the rides went around and around. There were a LOT more families there which also made the experience a little more enjoyable (it didnt feel dead like last time). The only negative comment I have was when 3 out of the 5 staff went on break. No one replaced them which meant, once again, only 2 rides were available at one time, so that stunk.Overall, I highly suggest that you go during a busy time like Christmas vacation since that will mean more staff which means more rides available. My boys loved it; in fact, we were there for 4 hours because they did not want to leave! (By the way, I brought outside food in and no one said anything - I dont think anyone cares or even notices.)
