Aprile Haynes, you took the words right our of my mouth. :) This place is so cool. There is not much else I can add to the other great reviews: you really do leave feeling peaceful and inspired, not only in their art but their love for each other. Let me try to add some other details... You have to e-mail them for reservations to tour the house. Cheri answered my e-mail within minutes of me reaching out to her and was very sweet. There is a gift shop and I am kicking myself for not buying more of their work. Their house is very close to Venice Beach, so you can really fill your day between breakfast, The Mosaic Tile House, Venice Beach, and dinner. Great place to go on a date. If your date doesnt like this place, get rid of them. They accept broken ceramics. When we went, there was a bag waiting for them at the gate. Take your camera and dont be afraid to take pictures sitting down, laying down, looking up, looking down, and of whatever speaks to you. Dont miss the details, like their kitchen table, the faces in the walls, little cartoon characters placed throughout, and especially the giraffaroo. Its a really amazing place.

Scheduled a visit for today, and I was totally blown away. I have never seen or felt a house that is enfolded in so much love and beauty. It absolutely took my breath away. Cheri and Gonzalo were fabulous and so friendly, we left feeling like we have known these two for years! I was stunned to see the whole home, and I mean "whole" home loveling draped in love. There was so much to see, it is so easy to miss something.. we toured around several times, and failed to see something that we did not see the first two times. The studios for Cheri and Gonzalo were fabulous.. Loved the Wall of Gonzalo. Need to go back soon with more friends and find more cool stuff in the art work. I left feeling soothed and calm, just the movement in the way the tiles and colors were placed gave me a sense of peace. If you are in the L.A. area this is something you do not want to miss.. Thank you Cheri and Gonzalo for a wonderful afternoon at your complete "art gallery"

This is an amazing place with beautiful people. They are in love with beauty, each other and creating art. Its clear they practice what they preach, life is not worth living unless youre doing what you love. The house has been shaped and is continually being reshaped by the contents of their imagination and passions. Also they are totally obsessed with each other and its super cute. They love people visiting and engaging with their art work mindfully. Make an appointment and be amazed and inspired.

If you stopped imagining and dreaming years ago, then come here to regain some of that creative spirit. Cheri and Gonzalo are absolute treasures, their creative energies and generosity are boundless and this house is an absolute must-visit should you have even the tiniest shred of creative imagination. This house really pops out amongst the sterile contemporary modern homes that have sprouted up from the demolished stucco boxes over the past quarter century.

The owners are amazing artists and very friendly. They give you a paper with descriptions of all the artwork in the house. I took my 4 year old there and he had the best time!
