Ive been in town for work for a while and this place is nearby. You get what you pay for here. Garbage service at a garbage course from garbage people. The staff is horrible. As the owner tried arguing with another reviewer "that its unusual as they have had the same staff for years." Its clear they have had garbage service for years. Perfect example: I stopped in to hit some golf balls because they are open until 8pm and have lights for the range. It was light out when I started hitting balls and then the sun set and the lights werent on so I asked when they get turned on. I was told they have to wait until they have 8-10 people because its to expensive to turn the lights on. Seriously, he actually said that. There were two people on the range with me at the time. I had to ask again to get the lights over my head turned on because all they had on were wall lights about 20 feet away casting shadows on the ball. The guy turned them on and the ones above me were burned out. At that point I was pissed enough to leave without finishing the bucket. Why would you sell me a bucket of balls knowing youre not going to turn the lights on so A) I cant see the ball very well at impact making it hard to work on my game and B) no lights on the range so I cant see where the ball is going 10 yards after I hit it. Youre never going to make any money to turn the damn lights on with garbage service driving people away. Its like he was actively trying to get us to leave. No customers means he can close early I guess. Either retrain your crotchety old staff or fire them and hire someone with the most basic customer service skills. Better yet replace them with a ball dispenser. Youll make more money with repeat customers so you can afford to turn the damn lights on.

The best thing about the Fishkill Golf Course Facility is the new restaurant that is now in place. The owner of the golf course is friendly and can be seen playing a round of golf with friends on a regular basis. However, the business is not managed well. The staff gets hated on for being unfriendly but they are just doing what they are told by their boss. Problems like the strict lighting rules at night and strict rules on practice greens all stem from the owners rules. The workers probably make minimum wage and couldnt care less about making customers happy, instead they just want to make sure they don`t get fired. The golf course isnt greatly designed but is kept in fairly well condition. If people live close, I would understand why they go to this facility. But if you do not live in the nearby vicinity, I would recommend going practically any place else. But stop by the restaurant on your way back home, its a little pricey but is still very delicious and welcoming.

Excellent place to bring the kids and wife to learn the game! The few longer holes in the mix make it an enjoyable course for the beginner. The price is right! The staff is friendly and you dont feel pressured to rush through the game. Just relax and have fun! Grab a cold one from the beverage cart, which too is priced right.

Very unfriendly staff. I bought a bucket of balls and then when I was done, I headed to the putting green, I was then told I had to buy a bucket of balls if I wanted to use the green. After stating that I just bought and hit a bucket the guy told me he didnt see me with any range balls. I will never go back to this place,

Very poor experience here. Unfriendly staff and not accommodating. Tried to get our golf team to practice here for a few days and it was as if I was pulling teeth. Not flexible and poor customer service.

The driving range is nice. They just got new range matts in May 2016. The golf course isnt that bad if youre looking for 12 holes to walk
