If youve ever heard of "Bad Santa", Im sure it doesnt compare to the corrupt selfish owner ,Tom Haggard. As a young military family we thought wed come enjoy the North Pole and take our 3 children 4 and under to the amusement park while my mother in law was in town. We paid 85.00 to enter the park. We arrived after 1:30 in the afternoon and we decided to grab a bite to eat there at the park, if was over priced, stale, and terrible. The food itself for our small family was 48 dollars for corn dogs, hamburgers, and a personal pizza. We were able let our children go on 3 rides when the rain started pouring down so hard that our shirts were drenched to the point where our clothes seemed see through. My two toddlers teeth were chattering and our hair was dripping. We waited in line to exit the park for 30 minutes while still being rained on. My 7 month old was sopping wet and visibly upset. We asked for a raincheck to return the following day. The owner Tom Haggard snubbed me and told me it was pleasant outside and denied my request to come back tomorrow, all whIle the rides were shut down. Basically for 3 rides, bad customer service, and a cold terrible experience we paid 85 dollars. I would never recommend this place to anybody. He is a corrupt man with no sense of moral. He may as well have taken my wallet and kicked me in the jaw with his cold hearted attitude. We finally got out of the park around 3 o clock after taking to this poor excuse for a man and waiting in the what seemed like an endless exit line.

My grandchildren ages 6 and 7 visited us from NC. Of everything we did the entire week, SANTAS NORTH POLE was the BEST by FAR!! I really appreciated the shaded, centrally located picnic area. And a BIG THANK YOU for having a smoking area that didnt require me to walk to the ends of the property, hidden away from the view of the world, as was the case everywhere else. The atmosphere created by the traditional Christmas songs playing was so very pleasant. I loved the Chapel, making the connection between the modern day Santa and the original St Nicholas , and ultimately, the true spirit of Christmas. There were SO many rides; the kids rode ALMOST all of them :) In comparison to the other places we visited during the week , Santas North Pole was BY FAR the biggest bang for our buck. All the rides included in the admission price, and of course the visit to Santa and Mrs Claus.... well, what could top that? Every staff member we had interactions with was fantastic. The young man operating the sky lift ride was singing the praises of the owner when I complimented him on the park. I suspect its a great place to work as well as the best place to take the family. We will surely be returning with the grandchildren in the future. The other places we visited....well, we wont be going back.

schedule a day at Santas Workshop. Without a doubt one of the most entertaining and affordable theme parks in the country (dont forget your online coupons available), its easy to spend a whole day riding rides, enjoying the on-site magic show, puppet shows, shopping, affordable concessions, and the petting zoo. And yes, while youre there, have a chat on Santas lap, and I wont tell anyone if youre tempted to stick your tongue on the North Pole - you probably wont get stuck. Because of the friendly and helpful staff and the whole nostalgia factor, I almost had more fun here as a parent than I remember when I was a kid. The whole family had a great time and brought back dozens of memories, photos, and a trunkload of souveniers. (Make sure to leave time to shop in the huge gift shop on the way out of the park). If you visit early in the season (up to mid-June or so), make sure to take a jacket, as it can get cool and breezy up there on the mountain-side. Its part of the overall atmosphere that makes the park believable. But the best thing of all...the ride attendants dont keep the grown-ups off the kiddie rides, so if you WANT to ride the Candy Cane Coaster (and you do...), theyll let you take the front seat. I love this place, and recommend it to everyone with kids who love Santa.

If you havent gone and you are on a budget or not and have kids that are little and cant ride most rides at amusement parks this is where to go for 8 people I payed $120.00 to get in and they give you these cards you hold on to to make purchases and you can get them big sodas for $2.50 and double scoop ice cream same price cones no charge when you go and all the rides they have you see for kids 34" 32" and bigger you would see they are the ones others parks say no my daughter is turning 3 and we want to take her again because its fun for kids all the way to senior citizens and everything is so cheap that when you leave you think how was it so cheap for such a big park with all them rides only one rides my daughter couldnt ride the Santa sling shot but she loved it her face the faster the ride she had bigger smiles. This place is worth more then what they charge more then elich gardens yet cheap to go

The park was lovely and the staff very friendly. I thought it was affordable considering you can ride the rides as many times as you want. My big complaint and why I can only give 3 stars is the "boys" and "girls" toy shops. My daughter is 4 and old enough to notice and comment on the massive difference between these two stores. One was pink and full of princess items and stuffed animals. The other had logos, tools, magic tricks, and blocks. My daughter likes all of these toys. I dont ever want her to feel labeled and restricted in her play. I have some ideas about how this situation could be remedied and I plan on writing Santas workshop tomorrow to share them. It is 2016 and this kind of sexist division is unacceptable now. I will not return to this park if this isnt remedied.

I love North Pole. I go there every summer 2 times and it was great for my baby brothers. Although the rides are old and rusty they still rock. Another problem that I had was that every time I went the North Pole the Ferris Wheel was closed but I was still scared to go on it even if it was open. The train ride was an awesome adventure and my favorite ride was Paratrooper but my family likes to call it The Rainbow Dash even though its not fast. My sister was kind of freaked out that the Waldo Canyon fire scare was literally right there. But all of the rides are great for kids over 3 years old. I loved Santas Workshop and I hope that when you go it will be as much fun as it was for me.

My son is 8 and has Autism. He has been going on and on about petting a deer. I looked all over trying to find a petting zoo that had one. This was the only place I could find. I knew he wouldnt be able to stay long because of the chaos, noise and crowds. I called them to see if there was a rate I could pay to bring him in just to see the deer. I explained the situation and that he wouldnt be riding rides, etc. They offered us a ticket for him! It was SO kind of them. I brought my daughters here when they were little and they LOVED it. Im glad hell be able to enjoy part of it too. We plan on taking him tomorrow. I cant thank them enough for making a little wish of his come true!
