I dont know why this place has such a low rating because I LOVED it here!!! We were trying to put together a last minute birthday celebration of sorts for one of my friends and came in at about 6:00 on 10/17/15, asking for seating for 20(I had called previously but the young lady I spoke on the phone with told me they do not accept reservations, even though the phone prompts you to select a number for restaurant reservations). When we arrived and asked for the table, the hostess and another young man got a manager and he was very accommodating and was even able to give us a room that was sort of sectioned off from the main restaurant area. We had a setup for 20 by around 6:30, which is amazing given the short notice! The food was deeeelicious! I had the burger and we also ordered pizza, game nachos, and the macaroni balls(scrumptious!) for the guests coming. Unfortunately, not all of our guests came and we only ended up with 9 guests. Even so, the manager allowed us to stay in that area. The manager (I cant remember his name) came to check on us every now and then and the waitress was prompt, courteous, and professional. Everyone made sure that we were happy! After singing happy birthday and handing out the cupcakes, we played games and played laser tag. It was awesome! I am always weary of going to places like these, because service usually isnt really that good--but Pinstack really offers a unique experience in that they offer A+ service along with the unique opportunities to rock climb indoors, drive bumper cars indoors, play two-level laser tag, and climb a high ropes obstacle course. I was so impressed by how accommodating the manager and the other Pinstack team members were that I am actually booking my brothers birthday party here! The rates for the birthday parties are very reasonable given the packages offered. If you havent already, please check Pinstack out! The only thing that could be better is the size of establishment. I wish the game area was larger for more space for the activities and games! Other than that, I loved it here!

This place is by far one of the coolest bowling spots on Dallas but the coolness factor was over shadow by the terrible service at this place. My family went this past Friday at around 1 or so and the place was pretty busy the wait for normal lanes was about 1 hour but the VIP which is extra was only 30 min wait. So we went with that. After sitting around for about thirty minutes we started to notice people that had come in after us were already being taken back. After going up to the stand and waiting in line to talk with someone they informed me they forgot to put us on the list. After they talked with a few other people they finally showed us our lane in the VIP room which has about 8 lanes and two share common seating. We started our game and we were hoping the server that was assigned to our room would come take a drink order and give us a menu to look over. After waiting 30 minutes into our hour game I walked out to the bar and the bartender said she would send someone over. After waiting another 10 minutes I walked back out and she said she sent him but he never came over and talked to us. At that point I just ordered a drink at the bar (which she gave me for free for the inconvenience) after I was leaving she said she would make sure he came over to us. After we finished our game no one ever came over to us. For a place that is about food and drinks while bowling we were never offered a menu a drink or even greeted or talked to while at the lane for an entire hour. When we were finished we just went out to eat because we didnt get food at this place. I was a very big disappointment for a place that 1) we paid extra to be in a private room and 2) is all about food drinks a bowling. We will not be going back to this place.

Pin stacks is a lot of fun great bowling with cool lights on the lanes and pins. Different bowling games that are fun especially with kids. An awesome arcade with Lazer tag, bumper cars, a rope obstacle course up high in the ceiling, and a great prize room with cool stuff. There are two problems though. The food was not good. The only thing Ive liked there are the mac and cheese balls (although all apps are 1/2 price during happy hour). Its also really expensive! Bowling for an hour costs 18$ to around 36$ depending on what time you go (not including shoes). 99% of the games cost more than a dollar to play, you do get discounts on "points" to play the games if you buy more at a time but for 20$ you get 100 points and almost all of the games are at least 5 points if not 7-8 including skee ball. My son loves this place its his favorite (and I have a lot of fun as well and really enjoy it) but I usually end up spending at least 60$ to bowl for an hour and play games for an hour and thats with one child and one adult during off peak hours with the cheaper bowling and happy hour for some 1/2 price Mac and cheese balls.

My wife and I recently went with some friends and took our daughters to PINSTACK. This review is for a mistake that was made, but the establishment went above and beyond to correct it. My daughter ordered chicken tenders while we bowled. The rest of the party got their food except my daughter. Since we only had the lane for one hour time was of the essence... The CHEF himself came out to apologize! Usually its the servers that get the brunt of the complaints but he took responsibility for what happened. Thats not something you see every day, and even though the location is a bit far for us (were in Wylie) we will definitely be returning. As far as the rest, the place was clean and plenty of places to sit, even outside to get away from the noise. The ropes course is a unique addition. And the games were new. Overall the prices were extremely reasonable (things are paid for in "points").

No service to lanes. Long waits and horrible service everywhere else. I thought a bartender was being rude but gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after spending money and tipping 20%, he had the nerve to ignore me and take someone elses order when I asked for water. When I mentioned it, he said he takes care of paying customers first. I talked to the manager and they said they would handle it but never even asked which bartender I was speaking of. But honestly, they were both a team of rude bartenders. The server at the restaurant kept getting our order wrong and the bartenders there were so slow, I saw them ignore her ticket for 10 minutes then look confused when she asked where the drink was. If you are going to spend your money on a good night out, go somewhere else. Here you will wait, spend a ton of money, and get crappy service on top of it.

Pin Stack is an enjoyable outing for family and friends. The gaming area has unique, physically challenging games for all ages to get active and have a blast. With that being said, the restaurant is lacking the basic cleaning maintenance to promote a healthy dining experience. The floors are sticky, tables are not cleaned properly from guest to guest, our plates were even dirty. We were actually ill after we ate here. The food was really bad, a good idea but very bad. Our server even said "the kitchen is just really a mess right now", when explaining why they did not have tea available. Overall, this is a nice place for games, but beware of dining. The bright side is there are many restaurants nearby to go to for quality food and you can still go here to play games. I personally, will never eat anything here again.
