Definitely no smog here. I mean, its Torrance and you get the nice breeze when you walk into this place. Im not kidding, after having some beers here, go back out and see if you feel a breeze. So the beers here are just playful. They do a base beer and they try to do it better. Examples are their DDH Hoptonic and their Coffee Porter. Thats Double Dry Hopped! So I had this and I had a FRESH version that were hopped from the same hops outside of their brewery. The Fresh one tasted lighter but was easier to go down. I also had a Hoptango which is a Mango Hoptonic. This was the best out of the three I felt. It was tasty and they flavor the mango at the end. As for the Coffee Porter, I believe this is the same beer that brewer Jonathon Porter won Gold in GABF. I was lucky enough to get this in the bourbon coffee barrel version and it did not disappoint! The flavors were really on point and it was in your face goodness! I did wish the tasting area was bigger . There are benches, some barrels to put your drinks on. Some chairs around. Tasters are $2 - $3 here while a full pour is $6. They do make saisons and belgiums here as well. I did get a chance to also get the "Weird beer" which was from 5 different grains. That, oddly enough, was flavorful and on a hot summer day, slightly heavier than a saison and darker than a regular belgium, it was nothing weird about it. Feel free to BYO food and have a great time to chill with your friends here.

Smog City, is located very unassumingly in the corner of an industrial park but it is a must if you are in the area looking for good craft beer. Parking is a little too small but there is always street parking available. Their must-have beers are the coffee porter which is one of my top 5 coffee porters of all time and their L.A. saison , very complex, floral and flavorful. IF available you MUST try The Nothing a double chocolate imperial stout with cacao nibs that smells like the best dark bitter chocolate with hops and some smokiness. The taproom is a kinda small, as with any other microbrewery, but thats the point right? Bringing communities together. They are also are pet friendly. They do not have food on premises but I believe they coordinate with food-trucks from time to time and there are restaurants a couple miles away. Also, since you are in the area, you can take advantage and visit Monkish Brewing Co. which is literally around the corner from Smog City.

Insanely good. I went here and it was my last stop with some friends, Its super cool place. Its like a big warehouse with some tables. You can get a flight of beers, OR you could get the SUPER FLIGHT, which is EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR BEERS ON A HUGE 2.5 foot by 1.5 foot platter!...I didnt measure it but it holds something like 30 beers or something. They basically just go on the taps and work their way around, it takes a while :) Like any place, you are going to find things you dont like and things you do. I for one HATE sour beers, and thats common - people LOVE or HATE them it seems there is no in between. My friends LOVE sour beers so they had lots of fun with that. Im more belgian type beers, stouts and the occasional IPA. This place has you covered. Make lots of time if you want to enjoy them all and not get so blasted you cant stand, because that happens easily here.

I love this place. The ambiance, the employees and the beer are all superb. Ive been coming here for quite some time now and I always can enjoy a good flight or full pour of whatever they have on tap. Although I wish they would add more seating since they have such a huge warehouse, the crowds can get pretty large and sometimes its difficult to find seating to hold your flights of beers unless someone is willing to hold it for you. Make sure when parking you park on their side of the lot and not the business across or you will get towed. Cops do patrol this area often so make sure you drink your fair share of water before you leave because the South Bay is known for the DB cops. They are expanding and releasing new beers and some future plans soon so always check their FB page or main page for updates..will always be back here!

Good beer in a good space with a friendly knowledgable crew pouring them? Smog City is that place. Located in a fairly industrial area, the exterior and interior is fairly basic. It can be busy here, so if you come with a group be prepared. Parking in the lot in front is limited, but there is ample street parking. While youre sitting or standing enjoying your beer, look for the sabre-toothed squirrel. Hes more than just a beer title! Pro tip - if its your first time there, make it known. The awesome pourers may give you a sip of a couple of beers to steer you in the right direction!

Easily Torrance’s favorite brewery and once you stop by you can immediately tell why. They make a wide array of beers so all can come and enjoy something. They are constantly making new batches for those who like to experiment. I personally a fan of the Coffee Porter, the Saber-tooth Squirrel, and the Smoochin’ Capuchin. Beyond the beers, all the employees are extremely friendly and make you feel welcomed. They are also dog and kid friendly. The only downside is the limited seating. They really need to consider expanding since their tap room is always filled.

Smog Citys Bourbon coffee porter tasted great. I wasnt wowed by any of the other beers. They had a double chocolate stout in the fridge that they sold by the bottle, but didnt have on tap. I may try that one out and revise my review later. This is a great location with a good amount of seating and friendly bartenders. They have these unique wooden chairs with designs carved into the seat that make them feel like cushions. The seats are magical and they will change your life. Overall, a good experience. A good stop if youre on a brewery tour.

Hidden spot in an industrial area. They have a great selection of beers weather you like a sample size, a whole flight or a full glass they have beers for all types and all taste styles. Feels nice been able to drink the beer that was made right in the location just to the side of where you are drinking it. parking is limited but street parking is available with a small walk. The staff and owners are very friendly and happy to tell you all about the different beers and recommend what to pic depending on your preference

Warehouse tap room with plenty of solid beers. I got a sampler of good, flavorful beers that were all across the spectrum. Nothing that Id necessarily get a full pour of, but I enjoyed the tasting flight. Build-your-own flights at ~$2/taste are great for trying a bunch of different beers. No food is a minus. Bartenders offered good suggestions. PARKING: There is parking on both sides of the tap room. You could probably also park in an adjacent parking lot and get away with it.

This place is unbelievable. Their beer selection is huge. Much more than what you find in the local liquor stores for smog City. I would take Mom and Dad here I would take my best friend here I would get married here. parking lot is small everything is cozy and romantic here would definitely recommend outdoor seating. A beer smell is so good here too. I would just go here for the smells. Make sure to get all of your smog City swag as well. Gotta see this place
