I think the 3rd time we havent been able to see a movie here over some stupid policy thing that it doesnt say on their website. Went to see a movie today on a sunday to see Annabelle: Creation. Yes its an R rated movie it was a 630pm showing the only one we could have gone to this week. It was me (20 years old) my wife (also 20) my sister inlaw (18yrs old) and her boyfriend (17 yrs old) all perfectly fine to go to the movies. But my sister inlaw has a baby a 4 month old baby. The baby was asleep and is always quiet he had plenty of food with him to keep him quiet for hours. But even after we used the machines outside to pick up our tickets they wouldnt let us go in because "other people expect it to be quiet and child free after 6pm its in our policy" it was sunday. Empty parking lot. Looked online doesnt say anywhere in their policy about this no kids aloud after 6pm until you actually go to buy a ticket then it says at the bottom about no kids after 6pm. Stupidest rule Ive ever heard if I could give 0 stars I would. No reason the fascist that run this place should turn down paying customers because of their stupid policies wont allow babies in after 6pm.

This is my new movie spot. My wife and I decided to try this theatre as a change of pace over the local Marcus about 2 months ago and now were sold. If I need an Imax fix Ill go to the Marcus but everything else Ill do at River Valley. Its slightly older then the Marcus but its very clean, the stadium seats are comfortable, the sound is great and the regular screens are huge. Ticket prices are lower and yes concession prices are high just like all theatres but theres is actually cheaper then other places. For me my wife and kids when you factor the overall lower cost and viewing experience the extra 8 minute drive to River Valley Theatre is worth it.

Ticket prices are comparable to other theaters, a little less than in the bigger cities. Seating is relatively comfortable. However, the snack prices will run you more than your tickets. They wont even sell you a cup for water for less than $4, as you have to pay for a soda to get the empty cup. (They will give you a 6-8 oz cup for water, but it will not sit in the cup holders without falling over, and there are no lids for it, so it isnt useable.) Not worth going out to this theater for most movies. The only ones I will come here for are the ones where the special effects would just be lost on my TV, which is a pretty short list.

Took my 2-1/2 yr old to see Beauty & the Beast today. It was her first time and she was scared, and didnt want to stay. Her father took her out into the court area. The staff was so very accommodating to them as they hung out so I could watch the movie. The manager offered to refund their tickets since he could not get her to come back inside. Thank you so much Lancaster, Oh Team for allowing me to enjoy this movie that I have been so eagerly awating. It wouldve been worth my money, even without the refunded tickets. THANK YOU!!

I really liked this place at first until i sat down the seats go back with no way of stopping it. I see alot of peopleike this but they need a button or latch for those who dont want to lay the seat back. We also were seeing a movie that was hugely popular and been out over 4 weeks and it was crowded. It seems like we were in a smaller theater room or they should still be staggering shows every hour to make the seating more available to people with handicaps who cant sit all the wa up front or climb the mini stairs to a seat.

Went to Cinemark they had the wrong time posted on their site for the movie. So I purchased popcorn and bought my ticket. Then they inform me that they didnt post their time right on their website. So I was refunded for the tickets but wasted 20 bucks on stale popcorn and over priced fountain drinks! When you type in the zip code it shouldnt show showings for other states. Never returning there!

my son loves coming here always looks clean bathrooms are clean the people that work there do a pretty good job the guys that take the tickets are usually really polite which makes for a good experience the food is a little expensiveme my wife and son have watched 9 movies since weve moved up here at this location

I cant believe how expensive it is for a Powerade at the movie theater for a man that works every week and only makes $13 an hour its very hard for him to take his family out and get them the things that you know are fine and nice things for you know reasonable price very very overpriced

Last time we were there, the movie paused a few times, mgmt was right on it, fixed the problem imeditly. When we were existing he gave us a free pass for another movie for the inconvenience. I thought that was wonderful.

Went to watch star wars. It was my first visit and I used fandango. Even though they were crowded everything went very smooth. Experience was fantastic.

Its a nice place to go spend time with my grandkids and yes the snacks are a little pricey.
