This place is so great. I heard about a Groupon deal to do a tasting and take home two bottles of wine, and I had a great time there with my girlfriend. Our server Vanessa was very friendly and attentive, it was great how she characterized the different wines and discussed her different takes on the relationship she has with the wines. They have a delicious cheese platter, and their baguette with honey butter is a must-try, so good. Better yet, you learn that they have the most amazing membership deals in the world, and I have been a member of the Yacht club for the past several months. This lets me bring 3 friends in whenever I want for a glass or a tasting, and a personal cheese platter, all COMPLIMENTARY! My membership fee is only billed every 2 months and it is $125, but that is also a CREDIT towards their delicious wines. My favorite wine is the GSM, and they are also coming out with a great new Primitivo soon. They have a cheaper membership as well that is only $66 every other month and still lets you bring a guest in to taste 8 different wines. The best part about OCW is that everyone there is just really friendly and generous. You are always being poured a considerable portion of wine (more than a 2oz taste pretty much always), or a nice big glass if you arent doing a tasting. Good wine, friendly people, and great deals, for an all around value you really cant beat this place.

Wines are pretty good here - enough so that I opted for the membership program... but beyond each of our own unique tastes and preferences, you can appreciate the great service and fun/relaxing atmosphere in the tasting rooms. Corona Del Mar is a little more upscale/sophisticated if you will, but both have a laid back feel that is very welcoming - and almost expected of a winery that wouldnt be anywhere without the farming/labor behind it. There are usually deals/promos offered to lure in repeat customers or tempt you to invite friends (and to tout the membership: pickup parties are very nice/fun). Whether the email list or a groupon deal, you can find a bargain excuse to check out OCW soon!

First wine tasting experience and it was surprisingly fun. Our host was very delightful and tentative and made our experience even better. She offered her expertise and navigated our wine selections to best suit are individual preferences and tastes. Our group cashed in a Group-on voucher which offered 6 glasses to taste including a cheese platter. Overall we had a great time and look forward to going back in the future. Thanks OCW!

The atmosphere was delightful along with Great staff. As I drove in the location did not appear to be much, however, that all changed when I went inside...it felt like it was the place to be! We had the opportunity to be greated by the owner; which was exiting as a first time visitor, and received information on the business background. I highly recommend OC Winery you will have a great time!

My husband and I tried this winery after purchasing a groupon. Relaxed and inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed the cheese platter while exploring the wine selection. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Thank you to Vanessa for serving us and explaining the 5 Ss of wine tasting! We will definitely sip and savor the delicious wines we purchased!

We were visiting and our friend brought us here to try a local spot. I am thrilled at how laid back the venue was and how incredible the wine selection is. The helpful and well versed in the wines gentlemen lead us through the tasting and made sure our small plates were perfect. The one draw back was temperature in the venue.

Gus has a good selection of wines. He starts with good grapes and turns them into some very tasty wines that show the best of the varietal. The wines are low on the alcohol side which can work well with meals. Stop by for a visit. A real winery in Newport Beach, who would have thought.

Amazing wine tasting experience. It was my first time and the attendant was super informative and helpful. The cheese platter was out of this world. We even got to keep our wine glasses. Id definitely come back!

Great spot for a day of tasting or glass of wine. The Pinot Noir is one of a kind. I am not a huge fan of pintos but this one is amazing. Awesome family owned establishment who are very knowledgeable about wine.
