First and last time here. New to the area and very excited to see Star Wars. I brought my wife, the kids and grandma too. We got our tickets and headed to the concessions. There were roughly 20 people in line and one person working behind the counter, they added another about 10 minutes later. We ordered slushies, drinks, candy, popcorn and a couple of hot dogs. What, no hot dogs. That was fine, we continued to order and paid our bill. Come to find out, they run out of popcorn too. They said it would be about 5 minutes, so I sent the family into the show while I waited. The idiots continued to sell the popcorn that they didn’t have and ended up having to give refunds which took another ten minutes or so. Running into the manager entering the theater, I told him of my experience at the concessions. The prick told me I could get my money back and leave. No apology, no nothing. I was a bit blown away. Needless to say I missed the opening of my movie and was pissed enough that I really couldn’t even enjoy the show with my family. Oh ya, the bathrooms were disgusting. The floors were flooded and what a mess. Go at your own risk as this is one ACM theater I will never visit again!!

I dont like their moving to reserved seats booking. I have watched movies at this theatre for years and then I got turned away because the movie I wanted to watch was "pre-sold" and there no tickets being sold anymore. The seats most likely were not all taken but was told that they cannot sell because all seats are pre-sold. Makes you feel like you are going to an airline flight. Now you have to call ahead of time to check if there are seats. I understand that this appeals to the younger generation who does everything online. But they excluded a whole generation of baby boomers who are less online savvy and still like the traditional way of watching movies...walk up and buy your ticket and go in....i can buy it online...ohh..but wait...there is a $ 1.50 fee to buy it online and "pre-sell"...i am going to the next closest theatre where this is still the practice....

With screens getting bigger at home, theaters are having to step up their game. From the looks of this theater, it appears to be going for the larger-than-life feel hailing back to cinemas golden days. From the enormous lobby to the cavernous halls leading to the many theaters, this AMC casts a feeling being awestruck on its patrons. You will be paying a premium price for the experience. For your hard-earned cash you get plush, recliner seating, self-service refreshments (Coke brand Freestyle dispensers), and a great overall experience. The sound system was dynamic without being deafening and the theater was clean as far as I could tell. I will be returning, once something comes out again that deserves the big screen!

The seating is not designed for anyone over 6 feet tall. It was impossible to use the reclining seat as it would cause me to have to bend my knees up in order to fit. Also there is not enough room between the end of the recliners and in order to get out when everyone is sitting down you have to have everyone pit their recliners down to get out. Takes 2 minutes to get out of the row and back in. The whole time you are blocking everyones view. Dont waste your time if youre a tall person and hopefully you will not get stuck with a family that has kids in your row that need to keep going to the bathroom.

In the lobby, youre greeted by classic film posters from City Slickers to Star Wars. Being a cinephile, I always find that a nice touch, The screens and seating areas are enormous, with every seat being a fantastic place to watch from...which would be great, if their showtimes ever jived with the online listings for the theatre. Its a bit irritating to, more than once, go to the theatre in hopes of seeing a new film listed online, only to find out its not even playing there yet, or that your 4:15 is actually a 5:25.

Most disgusting movie experience ever. Went to 4:30 showing of Alvin and the Chipmunks with my 5 year olds. Got to our designated seats, and the room had not been cleaned. Garbage bin outside was overflowing. Drinks, napkins and popcorn containers were left in our seats. Second floor bathroom had not been cleaned in what smelled like days. Complained to manager. Some employees did not show up to work so they had not been able to clean. Did not stop them from selling tickets and concessions.

Horrible - double booked in seats for a mostly empty show... Why even have reserved seats if my seats are taken when I show up??? No employees anywhere so had to leave my kids in theater while I got a manager downstairs.... When we got back to theater, manager left me without seats until after movie started... Just horrible and no compensation offered for ruined experience Go to a different theater - recliners are not worth dealing with how they run their operation

$$$ This place is really expensive. I always get stuck at the theater up stairs, at the very END of the hallway. Such a long walk and FAR from concessions (downstairs most times) and bathroom! If you have to step out of a movie to get anything it takes forever. They rarely open the upstairs concessions. The place is decorated so cheezy (80s & 90s) posters and the service isnt very good either. I only go there if it has a movie that my favorite theater doesnt have.

I dont know what theaters have been renovated, but the IMAX theater was not one of them. One of the worst movie-going experiences! The seats were so close together that when the people in front of me sat down, their seats touched my knees! The seats were so narrow and close together, it felt like we were sitting on top of one another. If youre looking for a great movie going experience, go somewhere else!

Excellent screens, sound, and projection. High prices, though. Many of the theaters are very far from the bathrooms, so you end up missing a few extra minutes of the film. Great drink selections. (Although dont drink too much unless you want to walk a mile to the bathrooms!) "Luxury seats" are nice, but there are better, more comfy elsewhere. Customer service is neither great nor terrible...

AMC Streets of Woodfield , unfortunately , is very poorly designed. You enter the building and after You buy your ticket, You go to the concession stand before you give your ticket to the person taking the tickets. The restrooms are located in that area beyond the ticket taker so its kind of difficult to use the bath room if Youre carrying a bag of pop corn and a drink

Awful service. Bartender that only knew how to pour beer and wine in a fully stocked bar. Went to our seats and there was popcorn all over the seats and floor at our seats! Manager said sorry and looked to the next customer. Didnt talk to an upset customer since he already got my money so on to the next fool to take their money. Awful!!

Very nice comfortable seating. Enjoyed watching the movie with my popcorn. Its really nice after the renovation. Just wished they would charge reasonably for the concessions like drinks, popcorn etc. One more negative is this location is, now has a bar. Not good when you have a place where a lot of younger kids visit.
