Took my dog in for a bath and haircut. When we picked him up, staff was very sketchy about bringing my dog, Arnie out. When he came out, his eye was bloody and his left side of his face was swollen. They said it was from him straining on his collar while taking a bath. We didnt buy it. They said if it didnt look better in 48 hours, to call them and they would take them to their vet. We werent comfortable with that; our dog looked miserable. So we took him to our vet in Colorado Springs whom we have gone to for a while now, and we trust. They took a look at Arnie. Realized he had bruising throughout his eye, his ear, and his mouth. Determined there was no way that was from "straining" on his collar. Livid, realizing someone had HIT my dog, I called pet paradise and talked to grooming manager. She said "it happened while they were blow drying him". Story had changed. And so basically, she allowed us to believe someone hit him with the blow dryer. LONG STORY SHORT-- We urge you to NOT GO TO PET PARADISE. We are pressing charges, and we were told they got accused of this not too long ago. Awful.

Purchased a puppy on 12/3/16. The puppy needed a shot at that time while we were in the store with him. The tech giving shot said we could bring the puppy back for the last shot. Called today and spoke with Justin (the store manager) and all but called me a liar. I said that maybe the techs need more training on the subject. He obviously did not like that he back agitated when I said they were like used car salesman. I called back to speak to the owner of the store and was given a run around from the lady the answered the phone. They advised that they did not come in very often anymore and when they did she would give them the message. I spent 1200. Bucks in that store and was feed some mis info. Some maybe on my part as this is the first and last time I purchase a puppy from a store. They tell you what they want to get you out the door. Buyer beware! Adopt instead!

Very fun pet store to visit. They have HUGE variety of fish in both saltwater and freshwater varieties. Most fish look healthy and tanks are not overcrowded. The fish part is almost like visiting an aquarium. They have many elaborate setups and have live plants and reefs in many tanks. They also offer a variety of small rodents and birds, as well as a small selection of reptiles and amphibians. Most animals look healthy with the occasional lethargic-looking specimen. They offer a wide selection of pet foods and supplies for most species. Prices seem moderate to high for most items, but some things were extremely reasonable for the quality, particularly a lot of the rawhides, etc. Customer service has always been top notch, and I am always excited to go back!

A cute business with a lot to offer in petcare. The dogs are often expensive about breeder price. The aquariums are stocked with an assortment of colors, sizes, and species that would appease any office or residential fish tank. A small but interesting reptile niche, the basic small rodents, a few spiders, and a largely unimpressive bird selection. My family has used pet paradise for grooming for about 7 years now. But oddly enough just for one of our five dogs. Check out it if you are in need of a new feed, or toys for your pets. A fun experience awaits behind these doors.

Horrible service there wouldnt even rate a 1 star.. My grandpa went to pick up his dog and when he picked her up it was hot in the grooming building and when they gave him the dog she was panting really bad and her tongue was purple! He asked them what was wrong with her and they said they didnt know shes been in the back for about an hour! He rushed her to the animal hospital and on the way she passed! The vet said she passed away from a heat stroke! She was in there care all day since 9am! I will never ever do service with them again and I will not let this go!!

The staff here are always friendly and incredibly helpful (they even have an on-staff nutritionist who gave personalized advice when my new puppy wouldnt eat her food). The food is on-par price wise with everyone else and they support things like Blue Buffalo frequent buyer program. Even though some of the other things (like toys) might seem a little pricier than a big-box store, its worth it to us for the convenience (South side) and customer service. Grooming services are exceptional too. Cheaper than Petsmart and they handle our scaredy-dog very well.

Love this store, and I try to support local business when possible. Theyve always gone out of their way to make sure I am a happy customer, whether its buying wax worms or chew toys/treats for the various animals I encounter in my travels. Ive no experience with their grooming services, however. Even though they cant logically carry every item I need, their customer service brings me back for what I do need.

My mom and I got 4 guppies and one catfish, all from one tank. On the way home one of the guppies had died. The next night 2 of the other guppies died in less than an hour. They died from amonia from Pet "Paradise". Clean your fish tanks! No wonder the guppies were for sale yall knew they were sick and sold them to us! Poor fish suffering. FYI dont get your fish there, high chance of amonia. Very unhappy!

Recently bought a puppy from them a few months ago and as I did more digging to see where my puppy came from I found out that she is from a puppy mill in Kansas. I shopped here because they said that they do not support puppy mills. Sadly I took their word and now knowing this I will never shop there again.

My 5 year old son bought a Bala shark from here. Two days later it died. I called in and all they asked for was the corpse and a water sample. Turns out I had high nitrate content in the tank. These people tested my water and gave me a credit for another fish WITHOUT my receipt. FANTASTIC!

Went in looking for a bird. The young woman that helped me, I believe her name was Roxane, was very helpful, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable in her advice on caring for my new bird. I most definitely recommend Pet Paradise over Petsmart or Petco.

I found a wild baby bird that was in bad shape. I called them and they gave me good advice and referred me to the right person to help out. Dont know it the bird will make it but it has a chance now. They were quick to help, and very courteous.

The staff make it the best pet place ever. Plus I bought my pet, my pug, the best dog I ever had from there. She is the most lovely animal I ever had. I cant thank them enough. I wouldnt know what I would do without my pup, she is God send.

I love going into Pet Paradise. I enjoy the way the fish tanks are set up along the wall. The ambience of the tanks make you not want to leave. But just sit there and enjoy watching the fish.
