We got married yesterday, May 24, 2014. The room was not only gorgeous, but the staff was wonderful! They were so accommodating. We went in on Thursday and spent the whole day decorating. They will decorate for you if you want, but they will also let you come in to decorate. 1 to 3 days before the event, depending on if theres anything else going on. The food was wonderful. We had a beef farmer say that their (RALs) prime rib was the best he had ever had. The chicken marsala was wonderful too. They let us have a cigar bar on the balcony, which is a family tradition. We also had a cookie table, but since we had so many cookies, they put the table, which turned into several tables, in the buffet room. Tara was wonderful to work with as well. She was there to answer any questions we had and was so helpful. Paula was wonderful too. We didnt meet her until 2 days before the wedding, but she took great care of us and paid very close attention to even the littlest details. Both women took great care of us. We highly recommend Royal American Links for a wedding reception. Wish we could get married again!

I have played hundreds of rounds over the last ten years at this course. In the last few years I have noticed a significant decline in my overall experience and definitely a lack of focus on customer service. The course is maintained fairly well, with only a small drop off in quality; which is a good testament to the course maintenance staff. However, the same cannot be said for the pro shop staff. Some level of management needs to teach Zach some lessons on customer service and give him a basic understanding of customer interaction. Zachs arrogant nature and complete disregard for the customer has assured me that I will never return to this business. There are dozens of nice courses right around this area. Dont waste your money on this course, you will have a terrible to lack-luster experience!

Place its self was nice, staff very friendly and helpful though the food wasnt the best for $23 a head I was expecting better quality. The green bean casserole undercooked beans had what tasted like Campbells mushroom soup poured over them and cans of French onion topping on top of that. The mashed potatoes seamed like potato flakes with real potatoes thrown in. And the meat was very dry.

Got an online deal for $24. Loved the lay out of the course great mix of short and long par 4/5s. Greens were fast but fair. I did wish there were a little more variety on the par 3s (from the tips, all were between 190-210 yards). I did not interact with the staff much. I went inside, paid, got my cart key and didnt go back inside until I was returning my key. Id definitely go back.

Ive noticed the decline of this course over the past few years, and their terrible customer service ensured that I will never play here again. Zach in the clubhouse was one of the rudest, most arrogant people I have ever dealt with. He was trying to impress a girl that was hanging around, and was completely ridiculous. Dont pay $40 to play this $15 course!

The course is beautiful, the greens are impeccable and the staff is amazing. This course is good for all levels of golf, so if youre a higher handicap, dont let the course scare you. For golfers with lower handicaps, you can score well, just have to place the ball in the best spots. The greens are quick, so be advised.

Played the course on a cold, windy Sat. The course was in great shape, fairways, greens were great. Greens were plugged late Sep, but healed when we played. Putted very true. Great deals in pro shop, too. Very friendly bar staff and pro shop. Had a great time

No idea why ppl rank this so highly. Nice clubhouse albeit overly large. Course is completely average at best. If you live close and need a change of pace, go for it. Not worth driving from west side of CMH for though.

Got Videographer produced a wedding film for one of our couples and this was the venue. The place and staff were excellent to work with and would be glad to work there again.
