We went in knowing the concept of what an escape room was about and was looking forward to the experience but not looking forward to being in a group with other people since it was just the two of us. we got matched up with our team and it was a bit awkward not knowing the people we were paired up with at all, after 10 minutes we to starting to rely on them for help to escape, we quickly learned what each member of the group was good at and about 30 minutes in we were really having fun. it was defiantly a team effort that got us to escape the room after 50 minutes and the elation i felt for completing the task with people who were not an hour ago strangers quickly made us friends. it was the other group of 5 that nominated our group as "the adopted family". my apprehension for spending that much time in a confined space with strangers was quickly dispelled. i know some of you will question if this is for you for that reason but i believe that anyone willing to pay to be locked up for fun cant be that bad of a person so jump in and try it out. it truly is a unique and amazing experience. the staff are inedible and our game master Jay was great. He makes sure to explain things well before hand and is a great guide throughout the game. We’ve been to other escape rooms in the area but this one is run so well and the game i played was so much fun i will not be going anywhere else. give these guys a try, i promise they will not let you down

I had a fantastic time the other day (01/20/2017). My group was only two adults, but one was a complete n00b to escape rooms. This was over all my 4th escape room. The building its self was completely weird. It was like half old warehouse/half old house. We booked the Indiana Jones themed room. The room its self was ok. The props helped a lot to get you warped into 1900s. It could of been aged a bit more to give it the vintage feel. Each staff member we interacted with was super awesome and friendly. At points in the game, they didnt even give us a clue if we needed one since we were on the right track and kept encouraging us. We came two steps close from winning the game but we got stumped on a step that wasnt really a step. The clues did get harder throughout the game. I actually learned about so many different types of locks because of this game vs. some others that Ive played before. That was our own doing. The only problem about doing these escape rooms - you cant really re-do a room. I do know though I would love to try some of their other rooms. But please, do more movie themed rooms! They are so much fun compared to generic ones. I will be back for sure!

I have been to several escape rooms in other states and this one paled in comparison. Our group of 8 did the mad scientist room. Setting and mood and "story" have a lot to do with the experience of an escape room and this room was not immersive at all. I did not for one minute believe this was the laboratory of a mad man. It felt like an empty office space with some tables and posters and papers. It was uncreative. The props were lame and basically anything that looked remotely interesting had a "do not touch" sticker on it. Basically, dont touch anything in the room. How am I supposed to feel immersed when everywhere I look there are stickers that warn: "Dont touch this because its not part of the game!" It was primarily math oriented...almost no narrative type riddles or clues at all. Just basically number crunching the whole time. If you dont enjoy LOTS of number riddles, this is not the room for you. I dunno...we paid over 200 bucks for one hour in this room and I expected a lot more.

Our familys first experience in any escape room was the Mad Science room. Though the 10 of us (ages 11-47) were completely disfunctional, we were able to escape within 5 minutes of the record time. -We thought it was a challenge... UNTIL we came back to do The Hangover 2. What we learned from Mad Science is that you have to work together as a team and no ones idea on how to solve the riddles should be cast aside. The Hangover was much more complex and had some really fun twists!! After more than 30 minutes we did relent and ask for a clue. As the clock hit the 5 minute mark we thought we might fail. We escaped with just 3 minutes to spare, Thrilling!! John and his team have created a very unique experience. Well worth our hours drive to the facility. This is such great family fun that we plan to return for Sky Fall and John, we look forward to holding up our "No room can hold us" sign.

I think the rooms are fun. My main issue is that we got stuck in a room with a bunch of teenagers who werent apart of our group. They didnt want to work together until we had 20 minutes left. It was a waste of $125 between the 5 of us. Definitely not worth the price tag. And we tried calling and emailing about having other people in the room earlier that day. We didnt receive any information till after the game was over and we had left. If we wouldve known we had another group, we wouldve chose another room or rescheduled it. The gamemaster did not give us the option of rescheduling. And I asked to switched to another room, but he had already closed them down. Very disappointed with N. Olmsted escape room especially its a hit or miss with the staff. Some pay attention to the game, while others do not.

We did the Hangover room and completed with a little over 2 minutes left. This was one of the best experiences of my life. I cant believe the thrill of busting through the door. I would recommend this to anyone out there who likes the thrill of solving interconnected puzzles or just wants to have a good time. I cant wait to come back and try the Mad Doctor. We will also be trying new Secret Agent Room one of the staff members told me is about to open soon. The best part of the whole experience was working with in a group of strangers and friends who all contributed to one common goal. Without everyones help, we would not have escaped the room. Thanks for an amazing 57 minutes.

What a great and truly unique experience! When youve been with the love of your life for over twenty years, it can be hard to find things that are not the same old thing for date night. Im glad we found Escape Room Cleveland, It made date night a blast. We tried the hangover room, and finished with 30 seconds to spare. Not only was it fun it was an opportunity to try something different for a change then the movies or dinner. The staff was amazing they were courteous and very attentive to our needs. I was very pleased with the whole experience. We will be coming back to try the different rooms for sure!... Thank you Escape room Cleveland you have gained a new fan.

I participated in the Indiana Jones escape room, with eleven others. The room capacity designated seemed a bit too large; it was pretty crowded. The puzzles were very fun, but had cliché UV blacklight that you always see. The only detriment was that points on a map in the room relevant to the puzzles had been touched by peoples fingers so many times that they were clearly worn down (perhaps lamination or plastic covering would fix this) that gave away the locations we needed. Other than that, good time! Interested in going again.
