Does Brenden deliver the best movie experience ever? The atmosphere is truly amazing, they clearly want to remind you of the 1973 George Lucas American Graffiti, with a sense of feeling young while watching a movie. Ive gone to Brenden since 2009, I will say that at times the experience can be broken. Back in 2013, I noticed some of the screens were a bit stained or ripped in some way. The seats can cause an uncomfortable feeling, especially when watching a 2 hour Marvel extravaganza. But they make up for it with its amazing customer service. Even when waiting in a long line they tend to you in the best possible way. The arcade makes it easy to wait and kill time when waiting for your screening time. The lobby is big enough to walk around and enjoy the posters, take pictures with friends and just chill for a couple minutes. They just recently started selling Beer for those of 21 and older, which Im sure is a plus to many. One thing that Brenden has more than any theater in Modesto, is their events. The Star Wars The Force Awakens premiere was amazing, they had promotional tin popcorn buckets and people in costumes.They always do something for a premiere which will bring lots of wonderful fans you can meet and are always open to discuss with you their favorite movies and excitement. They know how to excite fans of a movie franchise. Brenden has room for improvement, and even their sound could be better, but they make up for it with its atmosphere, customer service, and many to come nostalgic memories youll have with friends, family and dates.

AWFUL esperience. I will not go to brenden again ever. and I will tell all my friends if they go there again they are not my friends. I paid for six members of my family. we wanted to see "Ant Man" but it did not start until about 45 mins later. so i got tickets for another one that was already started so we could go in buy popcorn and stuff and get ready. so we got in bought everything and saw the last 15 or 20 mins of this other movie. after that we went to find Ant Man but the screens that tell you were the movies are were off. also the screens on the rooms were off there was no way to see on which room was this movie. so I explained the manager that we only saw 15 mins of this other movie but we went in to see Ant Man. She said there was no way we could see this movie because we paid for the other one. I told her we just got in a few minutes ago and we havent seen any movie yet. She said if we wanted to see this movie we had to pay again. So we ended up paying six tickets to see 15 minutes of a cartoon movie were they dont even talk at all....... It just sucks and sucks and sucks and will never ever go there again.

Cheapest Movies in town and surrounded by any number of worth while local businesses such as Preservation coffee and commonwealth, which is what I/We Usually goto before the movie to get satiated/drunk/caffined accordingly. So they offer beer inside now Finally, but ive yet to have any. their nachos are deceptively good and as unhealthy as they look which is Very. Theyve started taking down the marques above the various theaters I assume to thwart theater hopping, but thats not a huge issue unless you get easily lost after going to the bathroom or something. Anyway I have too many good memories from this place over the years causing huge positive bias

Horrible customer service. I had planned to meet some friends here to catch a movie. I got in line to buy a ticket right as the movie was supposed to start. I was told it was sold out, which I know is a lie, because Ive got friends inside already, who told me its about half full. I let the guy know that I know its not sold out, so he tells me his system wont let him sell me a ticket. Also a lie, as one of my other friends shows up 10 minutes later, sees a different teller and gets in just fine. There are two other theaters equal driving distance from my home. Ill take my business elsewhere in the future.

Nice theater. Saw "America-Imagine a World Without Her". Fantastic movie-must see for everyone. In a time where we hear nothing but how we, as Americans, should feel guilty and what we should apologize for, pitting of people against each other based on race, class and gender, how our history is being rewritten in the schools to support this whole guilt mentality... its refreshing to finally see something positive that sets the record straight and supports our national pride. Theres a great rendition of the national anthem at the end. Theater was comfortable. People were friendly.

"Dont go to this theater again, people are racist there."An old couple made a complaint about me and my family that we were making some noise, but the reality is that we were not even making any noise. Then, an employee and a security guy came inside the theater, and they kicked us out. I guess it was because we sat next to that old couple. How do I know it was them? Because they left the theater before we got kicked out, and we saw them talking to the manager. This was such a horrible experience, and we will never go to this theater again.

Its okay. Its filled with rats, parking is complicated, movie theater times arent correct, its very expensive. The employers are total douche bags. They have a strict policy that no one can use there WiFi. Theater is freezing. Popcorn tastes like s***. The vibes at this theater is creepy. Overall the only thing that is good is that you can watch a movie and no one talks through it.

Been going to Galaxy for awhile but Brendan is closer to my house..Galaxy in Riverbank is worth the drive....they advertise 3.40 ounce boxes of M&M s but gave me a 3.10 ounce box..when I mentioned it, the girl giggled and said yeah they re different...umm duh..that false advertising....refund me the differ mechanical eor provide the correct size..or change ur display!

We went to Brendan because it is the only theater in the Modesto area that doesnt have reservations for seats. If you want to see a movie on a whim and didnt plan ahead this might be your only option. It has good seats a large concessions area with other smaller ones as well. It also has that vintage vibe the way its decorated.

I guess I didnt realize this, but theres discounted ticket prices on Tuesdays (apparently I only go on Tuesdays). The theater I went to was a little dirty and theres no parking, only a drop off zone. The food is expensive like any other theater, but the inside is so spacious and probably at one point looked really good.

Service rep at the window was preoccupied. Purchased tickets prior to arriving at the theater. Relayed this info to service rep as I handed over my card. He replied "You havent paid for them til I said you have" as he proceeded to charge me again. He apologized and voided this transaction while giving me my ticket.

I like the entrance of the this movie theater and the surrounding areas. At certain days and times, there are entertainers outside of the theater. I dont like the feel of this movie theater. The parking is at a parking garage. The staff are mostly rude. This is why I rather go to the McHenry movie theater instead.
