If you have kids in West Broward, this is a great annual membership to hold because youll always have something educational and fun to do on a rainy day. Get on the email list to find out about special events and classes; performances really bring the place to life. Galleries are a little cold and dark, and exhibits are a bit worn down here and there (hence 4/5 stars); but recent improvements, traveling exhibits, and alternating activities add value for repeat visitors.

This is a really cool place for kids. Besides the art exhibits, there are interactive activities that are great learning opportunities as well as entertainment like puppet shows. Kids can have parties here and create their own art works on their own canvas. There is also an annual recycled fashion show with some really interesting looks made from recycled materials. In short, there is something for everyone.

If you have young children (like 1-11) this is a great place to spend several hours and if you live in Western Broward it makes a lot of sense to become a member. Be aware, however, that the place is rarely open in the evening (I think they close at 5 p.m.) so make sure of the hours before you go. They also have a great summer camp and offer camp on non-school days during the year as well.

I am 17, and currently in the volunteer program and love it. I did the recycled fashion show in 2009 and had a great time.The volunteer program is also good for teens with creative minds. When I was younger, me and my sister went to Young At Art Camp. We had a blast. My two cousins (Ages 9 and 11) visited over the summer from California and really enjoyed the camp.

My kids just love this place. I basically stumbled on it and got a look at the childrens museum. I invested in an annual pass and my kids love it. I especially love it when it is a rainy day and they need something to do. If you have kids and live within 30 min of here just get the annual pass it is worth every penny.

Wonderful place for kids to play. They have so many variety theme rooms and are constantly changing the themes but keeping favorite themes. Some of the staff are rude with kids so make sure you stay with your kids. Also, you have to go outside museum to get something to eat. Overall, its a fun place for to visit !

Wow. I have passed by the young at art museum everyday and didnt realize what an awesome place for my kids it is. Our daughter is I the ceramics class and she loved it. Then we walked Aarons the museum. Its packed full of fun and educational things. A great pace to take the kids! You got to check it out.

What more can I say about this place... I simply love it. I take my grand kids here almost once a week. The place is amazing. There is a ton to do for children of all ages. It is especially great on a rainy day. If you live within 30 miles of it get the annual pass.

I love this museum! My wife and I bought the yearly membership upon our first visit with our daughter. She absolutely loves it here. Its great for the imagination and building life skills. As a bonus, theres a Broward library branch right in the museum!

Annual member here. That new "big pillow" area they added is a bit annoying. Kids are not supposed to jump in there, just relax. Really? Like kids want to just lay down and relax. They want to play and be active. I hope they take it away soon.

when here with my family, had a great time, area for toddler and kids to play, paint, color and build. Museum has a library which you can seat here and read with your kids. adult fee $11.00 children under 2 are free.

A fantastic way to get kids excited about art. Endless hands on projects and art that adults can appreciate. Stuff to climb on and touch and bang on too. Yeah, its not free, but you get what you pay for here.
