I fell down the stairs once on a date. That was quite an experience. And I going up the stairs, and spilled my popcorn, and they wouldnt refill it. They did laugh at me, however. But, living in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area all my life, this is my favorite theater :) ALSO the people that work at the movie theaters around these parts are hilarious.

This was the first movie theater I ever went to. I was 5 years old and my sister took me to see Superman 2. It really made my day to see that this theater is still showing movies. Skip the 20 screen movieplex and see a film the way it was meant to be seen, in a one screen theater.

Not a bad movie theater, compared to what is around. Whatever you dont slide your hand down the while youre walking down the steps...it will cut you right open. Ive had on nasty chunk of skin pulled from my finger, the second enough to draw blood.

Star Wars for the Twenty-First Century. SciFi with sparkling wit and elecdtric repartee, and even good values. You dont want to be the last person on your block to see it. See it now, really! (The language is too strong for young children.)

The theater itself is old and kind run down. But the historical valve is amazing. I wish they would set it up for more local plays or play more black n white movies. Cause lets be honest, your gonna go to auburn to see those AAA movies

Love it! Old original theater.Our favorite is the upstairs theater.Something about old movie theaters just fun.Yes the giant New theaters are cool and huge but we enjoy going to the Del Oro.

The Del Oro theater is the best place to go and see movies in grass valley. It doesnt matter who you are with it is an amazing place to go sit down have a snack and watch a new movie.

Way to hot inside. Its was 8:30 pm and still toasty outside, and hotter in the theatre by about halfway through the movie. Bait and switch! Lol
