The worst experience ever!!! Can I rate this place a MINUS -----5 start pls? I was a loyal customer at Boomers Irvine since 2012, I hosted 3 parties for my 2 daughters there and we used to go there about 3 times a year for the 4 hr unlimited pass...I visited the park 3 weeks ago w my 2 girls on a busy Sunday afternoon and my kids and I were treated very badly by a rude GM that had no proper training at all to handle customers and to value customers businesses ...I went w the 4 hr unlimited pass birthday coupon for my little one that was turning 7 years old that week and I was trying to pay for my other daughter regular price the same 4 hrs pass, before going to park I went to business center at the place we live to purchase the ticket for my daughter so I could save some dollars bc if you shop tickets online in advance u save right? so I was surprise on the website that promotion that they had for so many years was gone...there was no $40 unlimited pass deal anymore...now they make u purchase the yearly season pass at a higher price so I tough it was a mistake or something bc i went recently to the park last December and the promotion was still there like always for all these years....so we went to park they validated my 7 year old free birthday coupon no problem...the problem was when they informed me I had to purchase the yearly season pass for my other daughter in order for her to ride that day bc they didnt have anymore the 1 day pass deal for $40 anymore...(they call it "deal" but to be quite honest their rides are not worth the money!!!...at least myyyy money bc who is gonna spend 4 hrs at a park riding a carrusel and a chu chu train where there is only 1 or 2 staff members rotating between all the attractions...?u spend at least 10 mins in line for an employee to come and let u ride a 2 mins attraction!!)I wanted to please give me a coupon or to apply an employee discount or triple AAA discount or something so I could pay the regular $40 and my daughter could ride bc I wasnt aware of those changes, I just went there a few months ago, I didnt know and I just had the 40 on me so please help me right now and let my daughter ride! 2 of the staff members were not able to help me at all, they were not mean or rude or anything like that, so I asked to speak with a Manager or someone else bc...hello...!!!the customer (me) was right there in front of u guys w my 2 girls willing to pay but had no idea at all the price changed the last month so this manager guy came in w this get the f out of here attitude...oh yes i could feel it! so i explain to him I was a loyal customer for so many years, hosted previous party, bla bla bla, etc, always paid $40 for unlimited, etc, didnt know recent changes but I only had the f....40 on me so my 2 daughters could ride please help me and apply a discount on that computer and give me the old price...i was like almost begging him for real....the conversation lasted total for at least 30 mins including the time I spent talking w 2 staff members before...he told me i had no prove to show him i have hosted 3 parties before...me...really are u f....serious? I have them in my old emails but since i told him my basic prepaid phone had no more data i couldnt check my emails to show him I was a customer...he told me he could not give me a veterans discount bc i was not a veteran, at the end he told me he maybe could give me the triple AAA discount but i needed it to purchase the tickets online first and print them so i asked him how the f...im gonna suppose to do that if i dont have a computer thats why i went to business center before but deal was not listed on website and i thought it was a mistake....there were guests computers there, i could see them!! at this point it wasnt about if i was short on 5...it was about a little girls bday and this inept lost an opportunity to make my kids day and be a hero to them by applying any kind of discount so i could pay and everybody be happy! i was almost in tears and asked him u dont have any kids right? he said yes he has kids...my girls were sad

First of all, I cant believe I just spent 8 hours here. Of course, about 2 hours of that was a combination of waiting for the rides or problems with the machines. If you come early at 10am, I would say the experience was far better , but not 4 or 5 stars better. I came here for a group event and was given 8 hour passes that were good on everything except for the e-ticket machines. So the best thing there was lazer tag and even though we had to wait for this one as well, it was bearable and fun. The next best thing there is the rock wall and the batting cages. The rock wall you can propel down after you climb to the top while the batting cages, well...youll have to find a machine that is properly tuned or you basically have to become a little person to hit these balls. They have different settings for different skill levels. Now the machines inside, honestly, they suck. The ones by the bathrooms even thought theyre one ticket, some of them are off line and you cant play them. Some of them have screens that you cant see correctly. Other video game machines have problems too such as the gun games have bad calibrations. Oh, speaking of which, I would say 30% of the video games are gun related. Im not from the NRA nor am I against it, but it sure aint too kid friendly in terms of games. Even though our passes doesnt work for the ticket machines, we did play some and some machines didnt work. Well, let me rephrase that. It worked but theres no ball inside on one of them so when you swipe it, you just lose the credits. So when we asked to see if we can get credited, we had to go through the whole "let me scan your card to see if youre lying to me for a lousy 4 points", then we had to talk to someone who is like a supervisor who only told us that we cant get credited because the technicians had gone home??? What in the world ? To top it off, the food here is pretty mediocre. We had hamburger, hot dog, and 4 pcs. chicken nuggets here. Only condiments are ketchup and the other condiments comes in packets. What in the world????! Oh and they only have domestic beer here. They only serve Pepsi products here so you get Aquafina and Pepsi related sodas. If you want to ride the fastest , loosest tea cups in the West, they have them here. It will make you head spin and sick at the same time. Thank goodness my experience here was mostly paid for by the company, but I would not come here again in a heartbeat.

Had the absolute worst possible experience there. We waited in line for an hour to get onto the go karts (on a Tuesday night nonetheless) only to have to wait longer get because some kid lost his phone in a kart. When we tried to talk to the manager (it was the operations assistant, short guy no hair. Hoping he gets arraigned for his behavior) about it, he got confrontational with us and refused to do anything about our poor experience. He even started verbally abusing us and started acting like he was ready to get physical. After we refused to allow him to kick us out, he completely blew off the whole situation. So we got yelled at, verbally assaulted, and began needing to worry about him physically harming us over a cell phone. Sounds like a great family place right? Definitely never going again and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Having worked in customer service for 10 years, that operations assistant should be fired for his terrible reactions to the situation.
