Do not go to this theater if yo like good customer service. I absolutely hate this theater and i love going to the movies and im pretty open minded.The staff are sometimes rude and the theater is small and there are always kids there after school gets out.im in high school and i love to go to the movies to hang out sometimes but its annoying hen theres obnoxious teenagers playing around.I like to go to a theater and to be able to watch a movie in peace. I go to san jose to see all my movies even though its inconvenient.Eastridge is good and the people are friendly and AMC cupertino has a quiet atmosphere

Against my better judgment, we thought we would give this mom and pop theater a chance. The theater it self isnt THAT bad. Unfortunately, they staff it with unprofessional, rude employees. Its really unfortunate that the only theater in Gilroy is so horrible. If people would invest a little more in their business these days, maybe they would not be over run by the corporate world. I am sorry my 6 year old son had to witness such a thing. I do not recommend this theater if you have any class.

I love to watch movies and The Gilroy Theater is where I go to enjoy a new movie each time. As far as the employees are concern I get all the help I need. I come early so I can sit anywhere I want. I buy the popcorn small and occasionally get the ice cream bits. The trivia and previews helps me get ready for the main movie event. Its like a fun date each time I go with someone and a good attitude helps set the mood for fun!

Lived here12 yrs and have been to this theater many times the popcorn is fine and so are the seats its a theater you want total comfort then stay home smh they have early matinee great price everyone 6.50 a person no matter who but check on the days to be sure. Theater has always been clean and the workers very polite. But lg popcorn and soda free refills cant beat it with todays prices

Popcorn was absolutely terrible. Wife and I ate so very little of it. Seats are rather small and uncomfortable with inconveniently placed cupholders. Size of theater wasnt an issue, but audio was lacking; I could hear every little crunch of popcorn and every other sound people in the room made. If you have the option, Id suggest driving down the highway to Morgan Hill.

They have rude employees. I bought ticket to see a rated are movie and some tall blonde lady screamed at me for my ID. Im 20 years old, she kept saying "Well you are short and I need to make sure you are over the age." Then she kept telling me what to do with my money at the snack bar.

The staff is friendly and it has a good A/C system (when they use it!) But the facilities are out-of-date and the seats are not very comfortable, some of them have even been repaired with duct tape! The owners could stand to invest in this place, since it is the only theater in town!

We love our local theater. The screening rooms are great and we can usually get in to see what ever we want. The reason people avoid this place in my opinion is that this theater is not surrounded by restaurants and a shopping center. So when go, you are just there for the movie.

Audio system is low quality, seats are uncomfortable, they refuse to turn on a/c even on really hot days, and the owner or manager( I am not sure which he was) was extremely rude. Personally I would drive to Morgan Hill before going back

The place was almost as hot inside as it was outside. Shouldve gotten our money back back and went to another theater. Had to give it 1 star. But shouldve only gotten a half of a star, cause the movie was good.

Dying theater. Staff not very friendly, but then again they are all squeezed by the movie labels. Sound quality is pretty pathetic in most rooms as well as the projection is kind of iffy.

Really nice theater, small in comparison to others however. There are only 8 screens. The staff is friendly and provide great service. Never had a problem there.

The womens bathroom is always so disgusting. Paper & water everywhere. Toilets plugged & not flushed. Nice to have a local theater but will think about that.

It is a great pleasure to have a theater in Gilroy as it is the only one in the neighborhood, and the morning price is only $6 which is a very good deal.

I dont know why more people dont go to this theater. Its a bit older than the Morgan Hill theaters but still has good popcorn and isnt as crowded.

Terrible movie theater. Bring your own food. They microwaved my hotdog and the nachos were stale. For the price I paid they should be jailed.
