Dimatteo Vineyards was the first stop on our trolly wine tour. The address for the winery is 8th street. While on our way there we enountered a road that was closed and we had to make our own detour. We called the winery to see of there was an easier way around it, and the lady on the phone told us that the address was 8th ave, which is a completely different location than 8th street! We finally found the winery on 8th street after a lot of confusion. The set-up to check in a board the trolly was very good, and the trolly driver was even better! Dimatteo winery was the last stop on the tour, and when we came back the people at the winery decided that putting 32 people at a bar (that was entirely too small) was a good idea for the tasting. Aside from that, the wines were good and the staff was pleasant!

We visited Dimatteo Vineyards as part of a company sponsored wine trail. Frank Diamtteo was a wonderful host as was his tasting presenter (forgive me for not remembering her name). It was also the location of some of my favorite wines...especially the Buleberry Wine and the Jersey Red. I cannot wait to return to this winery and share it with friends and family. For the previous reviewer who wasted our time talking about his bad directions....are you serious? Thats not why we read reviews. Do not miss this awesome winery on your New Jersey wine trail!

My friend and I stopped here on an afternoon biking to a couple wineries and DiMatteo was the clear winner of the two we stopped at. Frank was a wonderful host, and the tasting here is a real bargain compared to some other wineries in the area. The tasting room is small, so it wouldnt be great for a huge group, but the AC was ice cold on a hot day, which was great. We each left with a bottle of the Merlot, which was really fantastic. When friends from out of town are skeptical about New Jersey wine, this is the kind of place Id take them to!

Dimatteo has a beautiful Arbor. I hosted by Best friend Bridal shower here and it was the perfect venue. Jackie and Frank were so welcoming and extremely nice and easy to work with. Aside from the great service their wine serves all taste buds. They have something for everyone. You can go dry or super sweet. My favorites are the Black Eye and the strawberry wine. If you enjoy a nice relaxing atmosphere and a delicious glass of wine, then look no further. This is a MUST!!!

This was our second winery and the first must have just left us star-struck, because this one fell short. Bar is tiny, tasting is limited to 7 things, our price was quoted to us as one thing by the tour organizer, and when we went to the winery the person wouldnt honor it and asked us to pay more! Not thrilled.
