A group of friends and I went to go ziplining at the Manitou ziplines. I want everyone to know that this was advertised as a two hour zipline tour but it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes. The website says if your group is there on time, you will get to go on the longest two ziplines twice. I asked about this and our guide said they couldnt because they booked a 30 group party that evening for a campfire. How is that our fault??? The two guides we had also talked a lot and dragged the time out by telling really corny jokes. You can tell that they were taught these jokes. None of them came natural. If we just ziplined, we couldve easily rode the two longest ones again without affecting their 30 group party. This was the 2nd time I did these ziplines. The first time we got to ride the longest two twice. I used a Groupon and still felt like I didnt get my moneys worth. Response to owner: I first did these zip lines with you guys shortly after you opened and I had an amazing time (all 7 zips). Ive done your segway tour a couple years back. Ive even recommended your company to several co-workers and friends, one of which went last week. Thats why I decided to bring a group of friends and do it again. My friends brother was in town and wanted something fun to do and so I mentioned zip lining as an option. Without hesitation, I recommended AOW. Since our group was prompt and ready to go, I felt that there was plenty of time to do the additional zips on Stickie Zippy and Long Johns even without affecting the 30 group party. I understand that you guys are running a business but the customer cant leave thinking that profit was more important than the customer experience. It is highly disappointing not being able to ride the additional zip lines and then get back to your car 1 hr and 15 minutes later (that even included looking at photos). I guess it is just disappointing having not met my expectations based on my first experience.

I tried this Hot Balloon adventure with a family member. We crash-landed near a military base and my family member broke her ankle. We were told that would at least get transportation back to our vehicle from the hospital. We never heard from the company and had to depend on the kindness of the Armed forces to arrange transport for us. Later that afternoon, I was contacted and when I asked about the non-communication I was given a "Sorry we missed your call but you got home, right?" answer. Then I was told that at least I had an adventure. They must have heard something in my voice because they called back and reimbursed me the cost. I was just going to let it go but I saw that they are advertising again via Living Social and I wanted to let people know that this company does not care when something goes wrong.

Very Disappointed. I travel quite often and have NEVER written a review, But in this case I had to let my thoughts be know to warn others. Very Overpriced! I paid $180 family of 4 for the 1.5 hour Jeep Tour. I have 2 children 8, 10 who wanted some adventours activity. The tour basically took us through a tour of the city and mountains that we could have driven ourselves! No off teran roads, no bumps and splashes, no rugged areas that we couldnt have seen ourselves in the car. We had already been in the City for a week and had done quite a bit so we were looking for something different. Didnt get it. If you have no vehicle...you may as well rent a one and tour the city yourself...and it would be cheaper! Dont go on a cold day...that defeats the entire purpose of the ride! Dummy me! Feel ripped off! Never AGAIN!

The customer service was helpful & nice. The guides for ziplining were energetic and funny. My kids said they had so much fun because of the guides and also since they were also able to tricks during ziplining. I chose not to zipline this time, but was able to see 4 of the 5 lines (and take pictures.) Prior to ziplining, we had walked downtown Manitou Springs while we waited for our turn. We conveniently left our car because everything was nearby. Some shops opened around 9 a.m. & more opened around 10 a.m. on a Monday morning. Scenery was pretty... great experience..

Took the open air jeep tour and had a fun time. Our cowboy guide was very friendly and knowledge about the area. We went into the foothills of the mountains as well as Helen Hunt Falls (no, not named after that one), through Manitou Springs and finishing up at Garden of the Gods. There are lots of opportunities for photos, its a very scenic tour. We were also able to get picked up and dropped off where we were staying at the Broadmoor, which was a big plus.

My boyfriend and I took the Garden of the Gods/Foothills jeep tour, and our driver was Hoss. He was super knowledgeable, and funny. We really enjoyed ourselves! I was worried about getting car sick but I did great on the 3 hour tour. The jeeps are open (so theres fresh air flowing) and youre so impressed by the views that you dont even think about it. If you take a tour with Adventures Out West make sure you ask for Hoss!! You wont regret it :)

Very disappointed. We were supposed to have a hot air balloon with a start at 5:30am. They didnt call us to say the flight was cancelled and we woke up and waited for them for 45mn with a 10 year old child. Not happy at all.. Although I totally understand that the weather factor is key for a flight I think it was unacceptable that the staff didnt contact us to inform us.

My husband and I did their family night zip line package. It included zip lines, a campfire and smores. The guides we had were full of spirit and so much fun to have around this experience. They were encouraging and made us all laugh with their jokes and tricks. Definitely recommend doing this. The view is awesome and well worth the visit!

We did the ziplines while camping at Mueller State Park. My two boys loved it. The guides were knowledgeable and quite entertaining. The whole tour was about 1.5 hours which is perfect for an intro. My only disappoint was the price of the photos. Maybe next time, ill bring one of those disposable cameras ( in case it gets dropped).

We did a Segway tour with Rowdy, and he was a fantastic guide and we had an absolute blast. I did this tour about 5 years ago and it was just as fun and worth the money as it was last weekend. Rowdy was a great guide and extremely friendly (unless youre a car driving in the bike lane :p)!

Awesome time!! Our guides Jake and Dwyane were super cool, they cracked jokes the whole time and it definitely made the experience fun. Theres 6 ziplines, each varying in length and speed. The view was wonderful. 100% recommend visiting if youre looking for something thrilling to do.

We went ziplining (2 kids , 2 adults) and had a BLAST! Our two guides were amazing (Flounder and Bones)! I highly recommend this company. The weather was ideal and the experience was the highlight of our time in CO. I felt that the cost was affordable and well worth the experience!
