Since their website doesnt work for complaints, "error message" how convenient.... Hi, I went to your theater in Rocklin, CA last night and I was extremely disappointed. We sat down to dirty seats and tables. I feel like I should have brought my own sanitizing wipes. Then, I noticed my button was ripped off and I couldnt even order from my chair if I wanted to...I looked around and noticed this was the case in some of the rows as well. Looks pretty run down. Then, we place our order. Trio Sampler, Sriracha Sliders and a side of queso. Then, what comes; The sampler, regular sliders and a side of marinara sauce?! I have no idea what our server heard nor ordered from us as he did repeat our order back and then delivered wrong. I went to press my button, but couldnt so luckily I was with my husband and pressed his. Another lady came back and I had to explain (while movie is playing that these are the items we didnt order and we need what we ordered) she then had to come back after taking our plates to reconfirm AGAIN what we ordered. soooooooo distracting and annoyed and HUNGRY by this point. Then we get our food, the right food. Although, the sliders were definitely not the same nor looked like the picture on the menu. Very disappointed in the quality. We get our bill at the end $65!!! They charged us for the incorrect food plus 3 sides of sauces and our original order! ABSURD! I was so not happy as they already ran the CC at this point and now had to explain to our server during the end of the movie as he had no clue.... "you didnt order all this?" NO!!! Anyways, needless to say, we will be eating before a movie and going elsewhere, its really a shame you guys have gone down hill since your opening day. I was excited for a date night away from our toddler and I felt like we would have been better off staying at home. ;/

I am filing this complaint on every social media platform I have access to since the guest services form on the website seems to be "unable to save data" and deletes my text due to a "failure". I have a complaint about a consistent issue at this location. On our first visit to SMG-Rocklin, we received a second drink that was not ours and we were charged for it. So thats the first few dollars that were stolen from us. On our second visit, I was served an incorrect order, had to send it back because I knew Id be charged incorrectly, again, for it and it didnt even make sense because we did the 2/$25 (at the time) deal and what I was served wasnt an option and not what I ordered and so I had to wait for my correct order and by then, I didnt even get to enjoy dinner with my S.O. On our third and final visit, because really, why would we ever come back?... Our entire order was wrong in every which way. We order a Galentine for 1, which includes a drink and we were charged for a drink IN ADDITION to the $27 "deal". Which included a dessert that was never served to us either. So youre trying to charge me $37 for a drink, an entree and an imaginary dessert. No. When we went to address this issue, it took 3 incompetent people to understand what the issue even was. Its obviously not a new issue because these mistakes have been consistent with every visit. We pay for the more luxurious movie experience for a reason and we have yet to receive the quality that SHOULD be delivered. I am extremely disappointed and hope that this reaches someone who cares to improve or focus on quality assurance and customer service because this kind of service for the money that your pay is un-freaking-belivable.

I unfortunately had the worst seat in the house. It is counter seat C1 and it is right next to the waiter station where they stage the food and drinks and pile up the dirty dishes before bringing them back to the kitchen. Why the station is where it is and not up against the wall boggles my mind. After th e dirty smelly dishes the waitress was noisily stacking up next to my head reached about a foot high I could not take it anymore and snapped at her demanding she take them away and to do it quietly unlike everything else she has done up to this point. She complained to her manager that I had scolded her who came to talk to me just as she was making another racket with the dishes. Bad for her. He told me he would take care of the situation and switched her out with a waitress from the next screen (I assume). The new waitress moved about discreetly never making a sound and I enjoyed the rest of the movie. C1 is the worst seat but runner ups are B1 & B2 for they are the seats directly in front of the wait station. A word to management; If the wait station cannot be moved to the wall I see no reason why a 5 foot partition cannot be placed on the two sides of the station that faces the theater goers, (C1-B1&2). I gave the 2ed star because the manager traded out the incompetent waitress and the 3erd star for the competence of the replacement. In summery; As long as you stay away from those 3 seats and they do a little better job supervising the staff (training) You may well have one of the best movie experiences of your life. FYI; The counter seats are just that a long counter and the seats are adjustable office chairs w/wheels, pretty cool, C1 not included and the food was Not To Shabby.

Overall Im not very impressed with this movie theater. The overall setup of the theater is not intuitive and awkward. The mens restroom is on one side and the womens is on another and you have to walk through an area where people are working to get to the other side. Youd better hope your movie is on the side with your gender. The theater doesnt open until 20 mins prior to showing. Other theaters Ive been to open at least 30 minutes prior to allow for seating and ordering food. If you place an order at the bar you can take your food and drinks with you into the movie but you have to cash out at the bar and start a new tab in the theater which seems unnecessary. When you go past the podium to get to your theatre you get menus shoved at you so if you have to go to the restroom youre expected to take them with you - I cant imagine the germs on the menus because of this. It would be more sanitary and make more sense to have the menus in the theater waiting for you. There are also no restrooms outside of the entrance to the theaters. Once in the theater, the seats are a comfy plush leather and there is plenty of room between rows. However, the seats are very upright and no footrests or recliner capability. The trays are a bit small and the "push for service" button is awkwardly placed and raised up, making it impossible to put an appetizer or popcorn between two people sitting next to each other to share. Overall I think the design and lack of forethought of their customers will cause me to avoid Studio Movie Grill here and in other locations.
