Azura Memory Care hosts an annual thrift sale on the far end of The Sheds parking lot each year which benefits the Alzheimers Association. The organizer of this sale came out 30 minutes and 15 minutes prior and asked the people lined up to make sure the dog owners who would be dropping off their dogs could get through. Several dogs and their owners went through and into the K9 Dorms door without any difficulty. Then the owner of the K9 Dorms drove up, parked her car in TWO parking spots, and came out of her car storming mad and began yelling at the people standing in line. "Move this line over to the other side of the parking lot!" "I pay rent here! Move that line!" Several people in the line asked her to stop yelling, that the dogs had been getting through just fine, and that she was behaving in an extremely rude manner. She continued her tirade and finally went inside the building, slamming the door on her way in! Well over 100 people witnessed this incident, and everyone agreed that there is no way they would ever leave an animal in the care of this woman! No one was blocking any access to her business, and in fact the dog owners who had gone in prior to her arrival had smiled and talked with the people waiting in line for the sale. Anyone who can get so very angry over people waiting in line for a charity thrift sale is not someone who should be working with defenseless animals.
Hershey has been to many different kennels over the years, but I think she enjoyed this one the best by far. The people who run it are very nice, and if she has to board again in the future, I know shell be in good hands.
Great people whom care greatly for you animals. Highly recommended!
