1. Very good FUN for the price....My experience with family the weekdays and the weekends, the weekdays are better. 2. Great Security Detail checking all bags... A: The rentals for tubes and 10.00 locker rental with the promise of the return of $4.00 dollars is nice. 3. Good Food for the price.....Except the worst "Funnel Cakes" for $4.00, the long wait standing in line at the stand with 1 worker.....warming up a funnel cake that tastes like a frozen Eggo Waffel......The $4.00 lemonade starts off great but losses its lemon flavour halfway through the cup. 4. Some child water slides are not parent friendly......if you want to play "Police a slide", put a sighn up, NO PARENTS SLIDING WITH CHILDREN AND WE WILL PAY FOR ALL INJURIES......just a suggestion 5. If you put up a huge sighn with rules for ...at least have the decency to Train Supervisors, Staff Members Security or Sheriffs Security Detail....to up hold the rules......many violations concerning sag & drag showing of underwear, smoking anywhere in the Park. 6. WHO IS REALLY RUNNING THE PARK AND WHERE ARE THEY.....ONE OR TWO YOUTH DAY LABOURERS HAVE NO IDEA....NOT ENOUGH WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE OVERCROWDING THE PARK WATER RIDES.... 7. On the lazy river, its a cluster "F" in whos keeping order. Two workers having a hard time controlling tubes and people, or helping people to enter or exit..people smothering the water entry...Oh, people entering the exit and taking or trying to take tubes away from people exiting the lazy river, no one monitoring this during a heavey/busy day. My family rented yellow tubes and people were trying to take them away. 8. Safety... in the minds of all workers by their actions.......but there are two bare poles in the entrance in the water of the Lazy River... ONE IS CAPPED... and the other is a bare metal with "NO CAP", a various serious accident can happen with a LAWSUIT!!! PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR EASY MONEY.... 9. I understand the hiring of young people, but rude and not caring food workers is a losing deal. Most of the workers are great, but better supervision is required..... 10. Trash pickup and cleanliness is great keep it up........BRING CLOROX WET WIPES TO THE RIDES.....been on many rides here and other parks where sweaty nasty rides (seats, hand holds and steering wheels) are not cleaned enough on a daily basis. Cleanliness on rides should be a priority but its not. Think about how many individuals touch, sneeze or wipe with their hands, people of various, living conditions, cultures and habits. FOR US OLDER PEOPLE, ABOVE 60 ITS NOT FRIENDLY, BUT OVER ALL STILL A GOOD DEAL EXCEPT FOR THE FEW EXAMPLES STATED.

Well i worked here for the summer and i can tell you it sucked a lot. Place was pretty rundown and even the the break room was disgusting. You get paid 5 stinking bucks an hr. You get no benifits, was just given water. If you see clouds save your money cause the rides will continuously be shut down. If you want to work here , dont. They take away money that you make and put it in a " bonus". If you miss one day you lose it and they continue to wave it over your head. If youre young (15) i suggest working in food or admissions. Nobody like their job, only thing i enjoyed were the ppl i work with. It does have its moments, other than that it sucks. Finally glad i quit, because that so called bonus you dont even get till ocotober or late september. I suggest if youre 16 youll have more fun working at McDonalds. That was another thing, i understand you want to help ppl get there moneys worth but we never went home until there was a serious storm. My 1st week there i got rained on almost everyday drenched. I started to feel bad for ppl , nobody wanted to work their so all the rides were shut down ..they stretched 9- about 12 or 15 ppl to do a 20+ person job, had to bring lifeguards out to operate rides. You wanna know why so many ppl left, because of our first manager quit because of racist remarks towards an employee, after that the place pretty much fell after that. If you want to work here i hope your experience is as good as mines. I try my hardest to be positive but working there brought out a lot of rudeness. People would know nobody like working here.

Let me start by saying that Panic at the Disco and West Without were amazing tonight, but their fans, even more amazing for going through HELL to hear them. Now my complaint with Blue Bayou/Dixie Landing PARENTS BEWARE: They were suppose to open the gate for general admission at 6pm so we arrived at 5:00pm. Well first we stood in line for tickets to the park (30minutes), then while my husband and son secured our place in line for general admission to the concert, I stood in a different line for tickets (required for food and drink, another 45minutes), then I moved to ANOTHER line for the actual beverage (45 MORE minutes) until only half-way there, they announced that they ran out of water. It was about 100 degrees today, btw. They finally opened the gate at 7:30pm (AN HOUR AND A HALF PAST THE SCHEDULED TIME) to screaming, running teenagers. Two young girls were actually pinned and trampled. They ran out of time for West Without so they only allowed them to play three songs, and I NEVER got a beverage. We paid $120 for three tickets (plus $5 to park in a grassy area full of ants in BFE behind Home Depot) and had to leave at 8:30pm because we were dehydrated and angry. This place is not equip to handle a crowd for a concert, it was EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and they didnt even seem to care about the young girls taken away in an ambulance. There was no organization, no security or even adequate police. If anything i am under exaggerating how horrible this experience was. Enjoy the last $120 you will ever get from me Blue Bayou!

Came last week after not being here in years and also went again to give them a 2 try and since we got the free pass for a week thing ,customer service must say pretty awful. The workers looked so miserable and some were quite rude both times. I watched some guy and his kid go on the tube but the tube got stuck and the employee didnt do anything about it or help push the tube down the slide the man eventually was able to push his tube down himself. The food there was ok but once again the people attending the food shack looked miserable and were slightly rude. They have cats locked up in the heat that look miserable and I say they are probably better off being stray then cooped up like that apparently they have a monkey too didnt see it but saw the poor cats and also parrots all in the heat In cages why I have no clue but thats cruel to do that to these animals. It upset me a lot. The rides while they were fun one ride the black snake one looked run down its all rusted it shakes a lot and I noticed a blot missing and decided I wasnt going to go on it again also it creaks a lot they really need to just tear that one down and rebuild it or something new. Some height signs for kids were knocked down and they werent even checking them which is dangerous. Its like the employees just didnt even care. I did have two good experience with two girl employees there they were super nice the rest not so much. Will I go back most likely not. I will travel the distance for another park rather then go to this one again.
