Tuesday is bargain day to see current releases on the big screen. The crowd is different as those bargain huntets come from all over for the value... Including the disabled and group home residents making the most out of their fixed incomes. No matter which theater I attend the smell of freshed popped popcorn is enticing--- though all snackbar concessions seem over- pticed for my demand curve. The best thing this place has going for it isnt a thing, but rather a person: Michael the greeter who takes your ticket and directs you to the apprpriate theater. A friendly young man with a warm smile and a terrific hug if you are so inclined for such an embrace! Habit forming!! You wont find anybody like Michael for miles around! I give an extra star just because of Michael. Hey--- Im really not much of a movie goer--- but my wife sure is. Sadly-- most of the movies are rather trashy--- this is a reflection on Hollywood specifically and society in general. We dont go to R rated movies. Its a shame most of them are. If they werent, I might enjoy the thought of going to the movies.

The Management lies to everyone who enters by falsely posting a State Firearm Statute that does not apply to them. This not only falsely slanders the State of Arizona, because the State of Arizona does not deny you the right to carry into this establishment, but it also endangers the public by degrading the importance of these Statutes that are intended to provide safety to the public. Maybe if the management wants to deny you the right to carry your firearm, in their establishment, then they should bear the blame for denying you? A simple change of signage would be suffecient. "No Firearms Allowed! Per Management." This would be honest and I could respect that.

Its a theater that shows somewhat older movies (just out of other theaters) for a cheaper price. Whats not to like? Its not the most upscale place with a full imax experience or anything else overly fancy, but its a budget spot, so what do you expect? They do however offer 3D movies, so theyre not completely behind the times either. The seats are nice, the movie selection is good, so long as you dont mind missing the absolute newest releases. Popcorn and drinks are still pricey, and the tickets are not super cheap, just cheaper than the current theaters. Overall, if you expect what youre paying for, you wont be disappointed.

There seems to be a greeter, not just a ticket taker, when arriving into the the theater lobby. One man in particular is always happy, joyful and glad weve come. Always smiling. Thanks whomever for coming and to enjoy ourselves. Hes helpful in directing patrons to the specific theater their feature film is showing. He is kind to all and seems to have a nice group of regulars. Always handing out hugs for those who want them and truly a special person making others feel special. He should be commended on his extra-special attitude to all. Seeing him is as much fun as attending the show. Its why we go back.

I love me some Century 12. Many say its the "cheap seats" but hey, we all like saving money while going out. Its a tough situation to have a good time but break the bank while doing it. At Century 12 you and your partner can get in for less than $5. Not to mention the arcade and the snack bar. The theater is a lot quieter, theres box seats in the back for privacy and away from the little kids. The viewing rooms are amazing and their video quality is fantastic. So if you want to save a buck, have a good time with friends without killing the pocketbook, do up Century 12. Its well worth it!

The theater is in need of major renovation. Granted its one of the "cheap" theaters that play movies that are past its prime release date but it should still be an enjoyable experience. The seats are uncomfortable and the screens are small. The concession still priced at regular theater pricing. Over all if you are dying to see a movie that is just before their DVD release then this might be an option, or you can wait a couple weeks to rent it and enjoy your movie in the comforts of your home.

There captioning devices are the best! And each time I go to another theater I am reminded why this one is my favorite! As a deaf customer, it is important that the caption boxes work. This theater, is the only one out of the 5 I have experienced in Tucson that has refunded my movie when the caption box doesnt work. Kudos to you guys! I now live across town from the theater but I do not consider it out of my way to watch a movie with you guys. Thank you for the great experiences!

This is a "cheap seats" theater, so its a bit on the older and shabbier side, but it has some quirky vintage charms (am I the only one who sort of loves those weird, faux Middle Eastern architectural details that were all the rage in theaters in Tucson once upon a time?), and is kept up pretty well. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the ticket prices cant be beat. The concessions are, of course, a different story, but thats not unique to this theater.

This one is a little bit more mixed. While it looks old and relic-like on the outside, it is actually pretty much your same standard cheap-theater flick. The viewing angle is questionable if youre short, not a lot of staff, and the temperature gets warm but not blazing sometimes. If you want something cheap and well worth to see, this is a grab. If you are looking for something a little bit more tidier and clean, best one is at El Con.

The Century Gateway 12 theater is so much more personable than the big guys! I truly appreciate the genuine welcome from the staff, from the time of ticket purchase, to the greeter that collects your tickets, and those who serve at the concession stand... and, last but not least, the hard-working individuals that clean up after some of the messiest of patrons. Thank you, to ALL of you who make our Movie experience very enjoyable!

Theres pros and cons to this theater. The pros are that ticket prices are extremely cheap by comparison to going to Park Place or El Con to see current movies. Waiting can really pay off for certain films that may not be worth full admission. The downside is that the concessions are just as expensive and the theaters are a bit older and less comfortable. All in all though the place is well kept, and not a bad experience overall.

My sister and I go frequently. The prices for tickets is better than awesome, and there is a particular young man who greets with a smile and a hug, if you are a regular. I look forward to seeing him. Managers know who he is. Very upbeat young man. Theres always something to see for the price of admission. Concession prices are a bit over the top, but its close to home and worth it after all is said and done. Love this theater.

This is the ultimate budget movie theater. Admissioin is $1.50 on Tuesday night, and $3.50 the rest of the week. They show all the second-run films that opened two months earlier. I go there with the Tucson Movie Meetup and chat and socialize ad Guadalajara Grill. Then we catch a 7 pm movie of our choice. The screens in the theater are big, the sound is good and the seats are acceptibly comforatable.
