What happened to going to the movies the old fashioned way? This movie theater is nice and all, but some of the recent things theyve been doing is ridiculous. The new online seating thing is a joke. You have to go online and reserve your seat ahead of time. If you dont and just go straight to the theater, chances are all the good seats will be gone expect the ones right in front of the screen. For people that dont know about this yet, they practically waste their time when they get there there, only to be told by a worker that you have to reserve the seat ahead of time, and possibly that the only seats are the ones in the front. Whats going to happen when Avengers: Infinity War or another popular movie comes out? The online seating thing will have those movies booked for weeks on end. What about big families? How will they find seats and be able to sit next to each other? I get that this theater is trying to keep up with the times and get more people to go there, but this is one thing that will drive people away.

TLDR: Standard, no frills, no scare theater. Identical to every other Cinemark theater. Friendly enough service everywhere you look. The lobby and halls are clean, but dont drop your phone or tickets or wallet or all three once you sit down. You really dont want to go rummaging about under those seats. Trust me. You dont. As far as theaters go this is the middle class standard. The seats are comfy enough for an hour or so, but nothing special. The food is basic hot-corn and pop-dogs with $5 sodas and a mysterious butter thats only solid below zero. Dont expect the real treats you get from those shiny upper scale places that have a draft beer list and full service restaurant(Come on, you can put people on the moon but you cant but beer in every movie theater?). On the plus: it doesnt have the smokey, dusty, might-burn-down-without-warning feeling that a few budget theaters have these days.

This movie theater is nice and all, but the need to get their act together. Some of their recent updates have started to get out of hand. The fact that they think that theyre too good and add reserved seating is awful. This type of online stuff wont work for the older generations and and people in general that dont know how to do computer/technology type of stuff. The Senior Day will be a disaster for this movie theater. Its supposed to be their day, but they probably dont know how to reserve their seat online. Just get rid of Senior Day altogether if the movie theaters going to pull this kind of stuff. This is a movie theater in Colorado Springs Colorado, not Broadway or a professional sports stadium. I dont see a reason for reserved seating in a Colorado Springs movie theater.

This movie theater has downgraded so much I would give it zero stars if I could. They started reserved seating which sounds like a good idea in theory but is not. I got there to watch a movie an hour and a half early and all the seats were taken because of reserved seating. Then the seats are assigned. This makes it awkward because if someone is in your seat you need to addresses it. Whats going to happen when big name movies come out? The seats will be booked for days. Its obvious this place wants to try to market in new ways to make money but they will be losing it in the long run. Might as well get rid of senior days since they arent tech savy enough to reserve seats. Word of advice: dont make change for the sake of change. Humble yourself its a movie theater not a concert.

Convenient location, just a 7 minute downhill bike ride from my house. There always seems to be ample bike parking. Car parking on the weekends can be somewhat of a challenge. Before or after youve seen your movie you can spend time walking around shopping or eating. Chances are there are at least three places to eat that are closer than youve parked your car. Phô, tapas, burgers, sushi are all really close to the Cinemark. The theatre itself is well maintained that despite being open for more than 10 years shows no signs of wear. Prices arent spectacularly low but reasonable. If you can make the matinee youll save some money.

The new reserved seating is terrible. There was a long wait at the ticket booth because people were trying to salvage what seats were left. It seemed as if no one knew about the new reserved seating except the workers. The worst part is that the movie still had another two hours before starting and most of the seats were already taken. This is not fair as it makes it diffcult for families to sit together and also for people that need wheel chair accessibility like in my family. Ive been going to this theather for years but I will be taking my business somewhere else.

Hate the new seating. Those days of showing up early and getting a good seat are gone. Now you pay extra if you want to reserve a seat online. They also take the good middle rows and charge double for those seats called D box seats. Went to atomic blonde today and had to sit in crappy seats way up front, meanwhile most the theater is empty. Use to love this place, now Ill take my weekly business elsewhere. Congrats on death of the theatre business. Guess Ill be using my Fire Stick more often.

The movie and IMAX was great as always!! Very disappointed in the staff not allowing my son a Military discount for the IMAX but regular movies allowed but Seniors are allowed to have a discount at both regular and IMAX and when asked the window girl said "were not supposed to" why? The discount for seniors and Active duty military should apply seriously that is bad not to allow a discount straight across the board Military friendly fail Cinemark!!

This would be a 5 star review if parking wasnt so absolutely horrible at First & Main as a whole. The theater is excellent, but parking is part of the experience of going to the movies, especially when you are trying to get there on time, and parking at this theater is horrible. First of all it might take you 5-10 minutes to find a spot on a busy day/evening and then it will take you 5 minutes to walk to the theater after you find a place to park.

The only reason I go is because its close to where I live. My friend had their car stolen there. I asked to change a movie time for a movie and I was given the run around. If youre looking at the two listed phone numbers above, good luck calling them. They never answer the phone. Their drinks are overly carbonated to save on the syrup...It is conveniently located. I dont see anything about this place that would make it more than average.

Okay, theyve recently renovated their theaters and all of them now have electrically powered reclining lounge chairs and reserved seating. Pick your seat online and you dont have to worry about "getting there early". My first movie with the new chairs was so comfortable, I passed out! I felt like I was at home watching a movie man. Tuesdays are discount day. Take advantage of the special admission prices and snacks. Awesome IMAX Theater.
