1. Way overpriced for what you get. Also, they dont give refunds which makes sense because they would be out of business. 2. Ball returns stick constantly. Waited 15 minutes to changes lanes after waiting 5 minutes on ball return and lane reset. Waited another 5 minutes at our new lane for the ball to be returned. 3. My brother had the holes on his new ball drilled earlier that morning. After a few passes through the ball return, his new ball had scrapes and dents all over it. Not like normal wear and tear. 4. Only one guy doing maintenance. Cant keep up with all the issues. 5. I wouldnt even give their food or drinks/bar a chance and feel sorry for anyone who has. Just looking over the counter makes you wonder if youll get a food borne illness just from the air youre breathing. Coming from someone who went through culinary school and several servsafe courses, I dont know how theyre still allowed to serve food. Honestly begging anyone who reads this not to eat their food. 6. Watched the kids on the lane next to me over hand toss their balls onto the lane many times, denting the gutters and the lane itself each time...while the "bartender/2nd maintenance" guy watched from the bar. 7. Some guy in a grey shirt was sitting in the office the entire time texting while multiple lanes were malfunctioning, leaving the 50s-esque maintenance guy to work/struggle alone. 8. Watched multiple employees watch a women shuffle down to the middle of her lane, almost falling, to retrieve her ball that was stuck in a dent. They did nothing. 9. Their "bumpers" are rickety and falling apart. They were up when we arrived and had asked the 50s-Esque maintenance guy how to put them down and he sarcastically replied, "real easy..." and proceeded to kick them down with his feet. 10. They dont sanitize their shoes and sell socks in a vending machine. They also let people Bowl barefoot....or didnt care enough to ask them to wear shoes. 11. The bathrooms will probably give you some type of disease. They smell and look like they havent been cleaned since they opened. 12. The heat/ac system doesnt work, neither do the fans on the lanes. 13. The staff is not very personable and management is inept, non-existent and reluctant to resolve issues. 14. I, personally, left feeling just....germ-covered and very disturbed that the city of Conroe allows this place to run. 15. I would never subject children to this environment considering staff smokes behind the bar (servsafe violation) while children are in the lane right in front of them. (No qualms with smoking, just have an isolated area or have the decency to do it away from kids) To be fair, the staff is most-likely intolerable due to the fact that they take the brunt of the piss-poor management that perpetuates their awful customer service. However, there really isnt any excuse for this run-down, pathetic "business." I dont usually write bad reviews because Ive worked in the service industry but this...this is just gross.

Ok, so this place is part of the kids bowl free thing. I took the kids I babysit. This place is a J-O-K-E! Only some of the lanes have bumpers available. Then only some of those lanes have WORKING bumpers. Then they put us on a lane that the score screen didnt work, so they had to make it "tournament style scoring" on the screen, so the kids could see their score. Obviously, little kids use a 6lb ball. Apparently, when the balls are too light, they get stuck in the ball return. Since they would only give us 1 ball per child (2 balls total), when they both get stuck you have to call for help. When I tried to get help, the "manager" was curt & seemed to be bothered by us being there. Seriously, lady - if you hate people, maybe a ghetto bowling alley is NOT the place to spend your time! They sent a guy to fix it 3x. That wasnt the worst of it. After about 20 minutes of playing, the pins would stick or something & the roll would have to be reset. I dont normally go bowling, so I didnt know that I could just push a button to reset it myself. The manager talked to me like a retard who didnt speak English & had been told many times. All she would have had to do was explain that I could push the button. I did that the next few times that the pins were stuck. After we had been there almost an hour, it stuck & I couldnt fix it. I should have known better than to expect them to be nice about it. The manager starts telling me that the kids should use heavier balls. Ok, seriously, you expect 5/6/7 year old kids to use a heavier ball? Ultimately we left without finishing the two games the kids were supposed to get. I may not understand bowling, but I understand that 2 kids playing a game where each player gets 10 turns means 20 turns & each turn means 2 rolls, which means 40 rolls. After being there nearly 2 hours, we had only finished one game. Because of the mechanical malfunction & the accusatory way the staff handled us, we simply didnt have time to play the other game.

On May 21st, 2013, I reserved 6pm to 10pm for my anniversary party. I paid $500 on the verbal agreement that within "a few days" they would draw up a contact for my husband & me to sign w/ some specific things we had discussed. I called on Monday to cancel the party & to arrange a refund. I spoke with Shona who told me that I would have to talk to Rick & she would have him call me that afternoon. There was no call. Tuesday, my husband stopped by after work & was then informed that my "deposit" was nonrefundable. When he got home & told me about it, I called. This time Shona told me that I needed to talk to Rick. I called Rick, on his personal cell phone, & was told that he had too much going on with his daughter & just couldnt deal with this right now. So, I called back to the alley & Shona told me that I could talk to Ginger. I waited on hold, only for Shona to come back & tell me that "Ginger will not be dealing with this." She told me that Lois would be there after 5pm & would "call me back to work this out." No call. Called again this morning. Bradley answered & put me on hold until Lois could get on the phone. Lois told me that my deposit was not refundable. Further more, she told me that she was aware that I had been calling "too often" & that every time we were there, there seemed to be a problem. That part is true. Since May, EVERY SINGLE TIME we have gone to their establishment they have had equipment failure.

We arrived to a dimly lit parking lot of a building with no sign, unsure if we were in the right place. But after spotting an elderly man feverishly rubbing his bowling ball in the trunk of a nearby car, we knew we had found the bowling alley. We were greeted with the greasy smell of burnt chicken fingers, stale beer, and a flock of children running about. We were given a lane at the far end and proceeded to play. After a few rolls, our balls became thoroughly lodged in the ball return. After a few choice words were hurled at the return, we decided to go to the counter and ask for assistance, unaware it wouldnt arrive for a good 10 minutes. Our fun times were also impeded by the unsavory group of hooligans in the lane next to us. One of the teenagers was bowling barefooted, but to each their own. It was a madhouse run by apathetic individuals. Will visit again.
