I Usualy dont go to this Theater mainly Cinemark actually I had not been to this Theater in like 5 Years it just happened that my Nephews wanted to see a Good Movie on Short Notice so we went while at the Concession Stand I asked the Cashier for Fresh Popped Corn I wanted the One that was being Popped and was Coming Out of the Kettle I Specifically asked for the one that was Coming Out of the Kettle but No the Cashier Did not follow my Directions and gave me the other Popcorn that was to the Side that was probably Sitting there since Morning I asked the Cashier why he had not given Me the One that was Coming Out of the Kettle his response was its the Same its Fresh giving me an Attitude So I asked Again but No the Cashier went to another Popcorn Station ignoring my Request I finally decided to just ask for a Manager I asked for the Same request and he came through but by that Time most of that Fresh Popped Corn was Gone :( which was Dissapointing Since The Movie had already Started so I just said forget it I Accepted what ever remaining Fresh Poppcorn there was the Thing is it Should not have to Take the Manager to do what the Cashier is there to Do "Follow Directions" and if Im going to pay a Premium for Popcorn then that is what I should get not Hours ago Popped Corn I will not be Returning

I normally love coming to this place since its so close and way more modern then anything I have experienced with century theater. Maybe I was just having a bad day, but when I got there they only had one guy at the window. The customer ahead of me kept going on asking them what was each movie about I dont know why a second one didnt open up so I could pay for my movie which was going to start in 10 min. I get in go grab a large soda I hurry to the theater room as the previews have already started. Of course just as I was about to go in the top the vendor put on was not on right came off and splashed me. I make the decision to just head right in since asking the vendor for a new cup she had to go ask her supervisor. I dont have time to wait I just make it back in time to catch the start sticky and thirsty. Afterwards I go to the customer service desk and ask for my money back which was 5 bucks by the way no big deal. However he tells me the cup that I threw in the trash after it had busted all over me must be presented to receive a refund. Since I didnt have it he offered me a free popcorn, but I wanted a drink instead on my next visit which he said he couldnt do. Note to self dont buy anything from there.

We just love seeing movies here but the prices could be lowered some a lot of people cant afford too see a good movie if they do they would have to really budget or cut off something else that month & still wont really enjoy the movie so I say they should every month have a half price on tickets & snacks so the low income can afford to go & really enjoy the movie cause they didnt have to take anything else out that month or cut half the monthly bills so please figure out something for families that really can take all the families together to see a great picture show as we called it in are days a movie cost 15 cent & coke 5 cent popcorn 10 cents they were my golden days for me & my little twin sisters every other weekend yours truly. I really want to like this cinema, but its become almost impossible to enjoy a movie at Tucson Spectrum Harkins. People talk loudly and distract with phone screens at full brightness. The management does next to nothing to protect the customers experience. The majority of the audience members are put in this awkward position of pleading for others to not interrupt the movie. A few ejections here and there would do a lot to send a message that the rest of us are customers paying to see a movie, not hear your lame conversations. But the Harkins Spectrum staff is too nonchalant or lazy to confront bad customers who drive away their good customers I seriously have to drive across town to other theatres if I want to watch a movie in peace.

I love this place because its so convenient and close to my house. The experience I just went through was horrible. Just watched a movie and there was a group of about 7 girls who were yelling there lungs out and thought it was funny to keep doing it through the entire movie. Definitely not the first time this happens here. I am definitely not coming back to this location. This place needs to have a manager periodically checking the room and taking out people like this. Others are trying to enjoy a movie on a nice night. Ill make the half hour drive to the Cortaro location for now on.

I love harkins, when I was living in Phoenix I would go to there theatres and was glad when they open one here. I was reading the other reviews, and I thinks its not pricy if you buy the cup and shirt I think it comes about $30 but refills on the cup cost ONLY $1.50 and when you bring the shirt (or wear it) you get a free medium popcorn for the whole year.So your saving on popcorn is $2,028 a year if you go to the movies 3 times month and drink saving is $234 a year. where your only paying for drink at $1.50 it comes out $54 that year so its a good investment in the cup and shirt.

Dan Harkins has a winner with the Spectrum 18. The managers are professional and the staff very respectful and helpful. My son LOVES the playplace. The bathrooms are ALWAYS clean and you cant beat the loyalty cup and shirt. I spent $16 in popcorn and soda at Park Place- NEVER AGAIN! I only pay $1.50 for a soda at Harkins and when I wear my Loyalty shirt, I upgrade the free popcorn for just a dollar and my son and I can share. Less than $5 for snacks is the best deal in town. This is why we go to Harkins at least once a week.

This Harkins has everything I love in a movie theater. A beautiful facade on the outside, a military discount, free popcorn toppers (ie. cheese and salt seasonings), stadium seating, and a great staff. Specifically, I was able to watch a recent movie til completion, which means they didnt raise the house lights or start cleaning up while I stayed around to watch the entire credits. The prices was as expected: about $10 a ticket in the evening and about $10 for a medium popcorn and a large drink.

I love Harkins so nice and big which means youre not all crowded... The only thing that I dont like about the snack station is we get a big popcorn and big drink to actually get a refill.and if youre watching one of the last shows by the time you get out the snack bar and refill options are closed! So it makes me think why even spending so much if I cant get the refill I purposely paid for...my opinion is that the snack bar should be opened until the building actually closes.
