Wonderful little theater and a great way to experience and enjoy small town America as it probably was in a past more innocent age. They usually only play excellent high quality films that may have limited runs so its a pretty safe bet that whatever you see here will be an excellent choice and a film that you may not have the chance to see elsewhere. This is where I saw La La Land, Moonlight, Hell or High Water, the last 5 Coen brothers films, Boyhood.....etc. Wonderful. No mass market crap here ....just great films for those who cherish cinema. Very grateful for this cultural gem and feel fortunate that we have something like this close by.

Yay! Thank goodness there is a venue for the great films offered. I, especially want to share something that happened the first time we were there: We had gone inside to ask about ticket availability. It turned out that the box office was closed at that hour. The friendly staff person said not to worry, and opened the box office so that we could purchase tickets! We hadnt even asked her to do this; She just volunteered. What a great introduction to a great place. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful old movie theater. Probably best for people who are middle-aged or older. The movies start on time and the advertising prior to the movies is quiet and tasteful. Members get a great discount on tickets (I paid $6 for a first run movie last Sunday.) The only downside is parking in Doylestown. Get there early to find a parking spot (free parking on Sunday.) There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance of the theater.

I love the County Theater. The staff are always nice and pleasant, and I enjoy seeing many of the art house films that play there. We are members and the member price for films is a real bargain. The two theaters are a bit small, since the main theater was split into two many years ago. But that is a minor issue, as I have never felt uncomfortable or cramped in either. Both theaters have digital projection and great sound.

The County Theater is a great vintage movie theater that takes me back to when I saw my first movie on the big screen (the original Star Wars in 1977). It is well maintained and runs smaller budget movies that generally rely more on story line and less on special effects. If you want an experience of what it was like to go to a movie before the age of megacineplexes then you should make the time to go here.

Twas the eve of crouching tiger hidden dragons. I was so lucky to have seen this film when I was going through my Barney stage. The purple dinosaur was was too goal oriented. I needed to see some karate justice. Hydration is a soilders best friend, the borough parking meters turn into quack farts that smell like George Washington wig. 25 cents of PPFFFFFFFFFTTT!

Good local place to watch movies that you might not see at other places. Membership available but not necessary to purchase tickets. Membership gets you discounted tickets. Sometimes special showings . Check their website for showings if needed. You can purchase tickets through the website too. Great snacks and coffee available.

Excellent theater, love the classic movies. A credit to the regions taste and appreciation of film. Its a shame that some people living in Doylestown for 40 years cant recognize the cultural value of this nonprofit theater in their own town. If you want to see Iron Man 6, its on 10 screens down the road in IMAX 3D.

One of the best theaters I have ever acquainted myself with. You fall in love the moment you buy a ticket and punch yourself through the round window doors. The crowds are respectful and always appreciate a good film. The county delivers again and again.

The County Theater is wonderful. It offers new and old movies. They have silent films with love orchestras. They also have speakers talking about whatever inderpendent or old movie sometimes. Its terrific. I love it.

The County is a terrific addition to the Doylestown scene. Run by a non-profit, the County offers a great alternative to the suburban multiplex. High quality movies shown on state of the art digital equipment.

The County Theater is my favorite place in Doylestown and has been for the last 20 years. It has great movies, great friendly staff and most of the time the attendees are respectful. Love the place..

I can almost always count on the County to have movies I am interested in seeing. These movies matter to me. The theater itself is also a treasure. Doylestown is a lucky town!

This gem of a theater is about the only one I attend these days. The staff and patrons understand what a true movie experience should be about. Please, never change that!

Great, great films. Just dont try to buy a ticket five seconds after the Coming Attractions start, or the tin-plated prick of a manager will run you off.

Movies are good, but some of the customers talk during the film because they think no one is near them. Also I dont like when its crowded

Cute local theatre, does showings of older films like ghostbusters or Monty python and the holy grail too and people get pretty into it.

Enjoy the nostalgia, short lines and value ($). Seats can tend to be a little cramped and uncomfortable but part of the nostalgic feel.

Shame, Ive lived in Doylestown 40 years. It would be nice if the town theater played movies people actually want to see.

Some fine independent films shown here. Plus, its a twin theater with a good spread of show times. I go there often.
