The course has a nice layout and is always well maintained. The problem I find is that it plays extremely slow. It is always crowded due to the low rates. Most rounds are upwards of 4.5 hours. They need to get rangers on the course to keep up the rate of play. Towards the end of the season the greens tend to get pretty beat up from all the play. Overall a nice place to play if you can catch a round when its not busy.

This a fair course designed by Arnold Palmer. The conditions are pretty good but the greens can get pretty beat up by mid summer. The other negative to this fun course is the pace of play. It can be REALLY slow but the has improved somewhat recently due to opening a few fairways that were previously cart party only holes

This review is for their Par 3 Practice Course. Im not an avid golfer but like to get out there shoot a couple rounds every year. Their practice course is a lot of fun and well maintained. If youre really into golf I would recommend their main course.

Really nice golf course. Got a great deal on greens fees, only $10 through the GolfNow app. Unfortunately I did not have a shirt with a collar, thus had to spend $45 on a golf shirt in the Pro shop, negating any savings, but I now have a nice shirt.

Gorgeous Arnold Palmer course in southern Illinois. Some very challenging holes, but still fun for an amateur. Ill be back when I head to Alton again for sure
